Lana shrugged as she started following the group.
"We could always just get in a wagon and make you pull it," she grinned at Volkmar.

"Oh ha ha ha!" he laughed sarcastically " Why don't you do something productive, instead of running your mouth?"

Lana stopped and thought. She didn't know Earth, so it was hard to find a quicker way to the Sumata than simply walking. And so far she hadn't seen horses or anything of the sort.
That was when she got her idea. Lana gave the heroes quite a bored look as she walked off to the side and climbed a rather large tree with a branch that hung just a little over the road. It was there that she waited, and waited...and waited a bit more until her trusty "moving box" came along again and she landed gracefully upon the top.
And she rode it, smiling down at the group, only too proud of herself....and knowing that occasionally she'd have to leap from vehicle to vehicle if she planned to stay on route.
'Productive enough, for ya?'

*Mark watched Lana ride the car and wondered how long would it take for police to see her or the driver to come to a quick halt throwing her off, he shrugged and kept following the group.*

Yeligar saw Lana, Car hopping, and caught on to her plan. So he started to chase after her to not lose her.

Volkmar watched as Lana went on one of those self moving wagon and Yeligar following her. As he caught up he muttered under his breath "Smart ass"

Miri simply leaped in the air, having stayed quiet and listened as the team fought with each other. They were amazingly disjointed, and the red-haired woman was obviously coming from the other side. She shook her head quietly as she watched them take their own way.

Kouichi watched Lana leap to the top of the car and sighed, looking around him. He didn't have any way to follow her, but something about what she'd said struck him somehow - the part about having someone to protect. She was on his side, no one else's - she'd almost stated it outright. It was strange, really... he'd never had anyone treat him that way before, except his brother. Certainly Dark Cherub hadn't protected him, nor had any of the other Warriors. He was his own protector, own self back then. He understood how Lana felt a little more, now - he realized she was more like he had been than he wanted to admit or had ever known before. Signaling a cab, he leaped in, asking the driver to follow the car Lana was on top of. Kouji watched him go, startled, but got into the cab at the last minute, nodding.
"You really care about her, huh, Brother."

Despite what the Earth people thought (somehow she had guessed she probably shouldn't be riding on top of the giant box), Lana continued her vehicle-hopping quest to the northeast, exactly how she had remembered Yeligar explaining. What had he all said? Northeast, until they hit the river...
'That river?'
She'd had no clue exactly how long they had taken to make it there, but at some point it was only metres ahead that Lana started making out the obvious scene that was a river - perhaps the very one they were looking for. She leapt from her last box, a yellow one that had been filled with small children who screamed out of the windows at her, and looked back at Yeligar.
"....This it?" she pointed ahead.

The cab had taken them on a zig-zaggily straight course to Niagara Falls, and Kouichi thanked and tipped the driver heavily. The two boys bowed and headed after Lana once again, noticing that Yeligar had somehow kept up with the car-hopping Lana.
"He's good," Kouji commented. Kouichi nodded.
"Lana!" he called out to her.

"That is the river. Good Job Lana!" He said " Now we follow it up until the whirlpool and they are in the woods near there!" He ran faster.

*Mark ran and stopped near Yeligar looking around trying to spot any Sumata traps.*
Mark: We're getting near right...?
I can feel a disturbance in the air, such power... could Trucido truly be alive? I thought I killed him no I was sure I killed him.
*Mark thought wondering if anyone else felt the power in the air.*

Jasmine shivered as they drew nearer. She couldn't feel the powerful waves of dark energy like Mark could, but her stomach turned slightly as she could feel that something was a little off. She gave a quick glance around at everyone else, stopping her gaze on Mark specifically, trying to read his facial features.
In the end, she could see that something was bothering him, but she couldn't quite figure out what.
"We're supposed to find a whirlpool, right?" Jasmine spoke quietly, slipping her book back into her bag, "is it around here somewhere?"

Lana had gradually slowed her movements in order for the others to catch up. As annoying as it was (she hated waiting, especially for much slower beings than herself), it would have looked very bad had she kept running ahead toward the Sumata and evidently caused her more trouble with the heroes. God knows they would have naturally assumed she was being a traitor to them, too.
Or, you know, they'd think that anyway. Jerks.
Lana's movements stopped entirely when the twins ran toward her. Her tall figure slouched slightly as she looked back at both Kouichi and Kouji, lips pursed and a raised eyebrow.
"Hey."
It wasn't much of a greeting to either of them, but it was something from her at least.

"This is it...?" Andy frowned, loooking at the area that was seemly abandoned. He took another step close when he felt like he was hit with a truck, the sensation passed only breifly but he could still remember the feeling.
What was that...?
