Jasmine's eyes widened as Night came out of the forest in front of them, and she felt at a loss for words when Yeligar commanded that Andy and Mark attack him. Their magical abilities on Earth were reduced, so how would a battle like this turn out? What if something really bad happened to Andy while they were trying to find the rest of the Sumata?
She hesitated as everyone else moved on, glancing back at Andy. She had to leave, she knew it wasn't a good idea for her to stick around even if it was to help him. With her magic abilities as limited as they were, it would only make the situation worse for her to even insist on staying behind. She clutched her prayer charm in her hand, turning quickly and following behind Yeligar, and started muttering a defensive spell to try to put in place for both men. It was a simple one, but hopefully if anything it should help keep their wounds minimal if they received any.

There was noise, and lots of it coming back into earshot as the body of Lilith slowly began to stir. As the noises became louder, words were starting to be clearly heard as well. She'd managed to pick up something about the heroes, heard the familiar thunking footsteps of Night, Seigmand was yelling about something for once himself...
Hmm. If Seigmand was concerned then something had to be going wrong. Lilith's eyes softly fluttered open and she turned her head and glanced about the area, looking specifically for Trucido.
"What's going on?" her voice was quiet, and she sat up with a small yawn.

Alex didn't trust Trucido, either...not many people seemed to, by the sound of it. Then again, here he had all of the royals from Crepusculum on his side...right?
There wasn't any more time to think about that as Alex then spoke up again concerning some kind of...presence? Is that what it was? Alexander took a moment to quiet himself and close his eyes, focusing on the air around them. Finally, he opened his eyes and looked at Alex with a small nod and a grave look on his face.
"I can feel something...but what is it, D? It really is unnatural..." he looked up above them. Earth beings who were none the wiser focused on trying to rescue the young men, but Alexander was finally focusing on something more important than that, and his next words were surprising even to himself.
"...I want to find out what it is. We have to find out, D."

"Whoa!" He said as he swing his sword down. " When I meant I will kill you one by one, Everyone has to have a turn with me!" He looked at Andy. "I am Night Warspawn, the best Sword in the world, and the Sumata of Steel!" He quickly swung his sword at Andy.

Trucido looked at Lilith, He quickly picked her up. "Ok, see, Seigmend, nothing to worry about." He said. "Lilith, honey, can you stand on your own?"

Lilith gave Trucido a confused look - she had only been asleep, not dead. She smiled sweetly at him however, though raising an eyebrow as she did so.
"I can move just fine on my own, darling. Why do you ask?"

"Me too," Alex replied, accidentally slipping back into informality as the presence drew him. He stood up, unfurling his wings. He looked at Alexander. "Shall we go take a look, Milord?"

Lana raised an eyebrow.
"Night," she said, only knowing too well of the ridiculously violent man. On one hand, she had no clue how she could respond to this. She could play well and follow the heroes (give her image a bit of a better one, at that), or stay behind to at least make sure jerkface and freakface were going to survive Night.
...Then again, the more logical solution on Lana's part would be to follow the heroes yet. Staying behind with Andy, Mark, and Night she figured would also look suspicious. Night had come alone. She didn't want anyone thinking she was staying behind to help the poor fool take on the spiked-haired heroes.
That and if she did leave, she couldn't be sure if Kouichi would be alright. Why she found herself caring so much, she had no clue, but as much as she wanted to fight it she really couldn't. She followed Yeligar, resting her hand on the hilt of her longsword and keeping a fair distance behind Kouichi to make sure that if Night or someone did try to attack, they'd have to go through her before him.

Alexander immediately leaped to his feet, an excited feeling overwhelming him. Whatever was happening, it was going to be intense.
"Yeah, we better. Let's get out of here, quick!" he answered Alex.

"Need a lift? Using both pairs, I think I can deal with your weight, especially since they're dry now."
He certainly was an impressive sight, both pairs of wings extended to their fullest span - at least twenty feet for the feathered pair, and at least twelve feet for the scaled. He flapped experimentally, stirring up a small puff of wind from the combined power.

Yeligar hopped back from Night's sword. "What is the matter? Scared of the two heroes that you have to fight?" He looked at him and ,behind his back, he waved his hand. Telling them to go on ahead.

"He asks because the Heroes are hot on our heels and we need to get out of here. Trucido has tossed one of us pawns to the awaiting enemy's hands." Seigmand bent down to place his hands on the ground to concentrate solely on the vibrations in the ground.
"Hmm... they're quieter than before, but still getting closer. It would appear Night has held a few of them at bay, but most are still coming right for us. What do you plan to do M'lord? I should hope it's something besides getting another of us to jump head first into danger." Seigmand looked at the rest of the waiting Sumata. He was curious to see how they felt about Trucido's plan.

Scarth had kept quite most of the trip. At first the sights and sounds were alarming, if only for the fact there had been so many of them at once. But after a few days the seeing the metal birds being eaten by clouds and riding the giant creature with glowing eyes had been almost relaxing to him. He would have to see about convincing Trucido to get one for his Kingdom as they were oh so comfortable to ride in.
Yet his leisure thoughts had been put on hold as the others shouted and argued back and forth on the presence of the "Heroes". Scarth thought back to a resturant they had passed on their way to Canada.
I've never seen a Hero before, but how strong can they be though if people here make sandwiches of them? Seigmand's too worried about this.
"I wonder if they're tasty?" He mumbled to himself, only just loud enought that a few could overhear him. He walked over to Trucido, stretching out the kinks in his joints in a slow deliberate manner. Each time he did the momentary pain caused the Other to flicker a bit from his body like a candle to a brief wind. "If you're going to send someone out, I wouldn't mind seeing what all the fuss is about."
FOOL! The Other bellowed in his mind. Do not underestimate them. If Trucido is concerned about them, then you should be too.
"Ugh, come on even the trees are telling me to go." He said aloud as if he forgot he had been talking to Trucido moments ago. His hand waved out towards the forest as he saw each leaf rustle towards the direction Night had went. Their motion was to Scarth as little hand saying, 'Come here. Come here.'

Mark: Night huh...? *he said with a smirk.* My name is Mark Angelus Fri, I was a soldier under Santo-Luce.
I'll keep the Ex-Archangel to myself for now....
Mark: But it doesn't matter, what matters is. *he swung his swords at Night in a sweeping motion.* that you don't die after the first minute.

"Best sword in the world huh..." Andy grinned, deflecting his sword strike. "Let's put that to test!"
He gripped his sword tight and tried to move in quick powerful strokes, pushing Night into the thicker part of the woods where no one could see him.
