Scarth had felt bored since his return to Earth. Everyone had since departed to their own kingdoms to "settle affairs" before they reunited again. As Scarth plodded around his throne room he could feel the itch for blood that he had yearned for since their return. Even worse was when he had learned of the Twilight Kingdom's act of war against the Sumata. He so wanted to send his troops to the front and revel in the carnage that would spread through Queen Lunestise's lands, yet Trucido had said to wait.
I'm sick of this waiting game. I want action. I want to battle. Scarth, patience. You must strike at the right time. The Other cautioned him, attempting to ease his anxious mind.
Scarth struck his hand against his throne, sending it to the ground in an impatient rage. Be steady Scarth, someone approaches. We will deal with this later. He cursed silently under his breath, glancing around as he tried to sense what the Other had.

Leeith walked into the throne room, giving a rather formal bow to her king. "You wanted to speak with me?"

Scarth leapt around to face Leeith, standing in a 'gotcha' pose as he looked at her with a question gaze. "Oh umm, hello Leeith. I trust my kingdom has been well kept?" His eyes narrowed a little as his attention focused on her bare left shoulder. "Leeith, I thought I told you to get rid of the eagle. He keeps staring at me." He growled a little before snapping back to attention and began pacing.
"I don't like how Trucido's asking us to deal with this war of the Twilight Kingdom's. Here that old bag of a queen is conquering us one after another and we have to stay put while Trucido does god knows what. It pisses me off Leeith. If only I could put an end this stupid affair in one swoop. Oh just think. The rest of the royals would have to bow before my awesome might!" He burst into laughing at his own absurd fantasy.

Leeith listened silently to her king's rant, barely raising an eyebrow in answer to his seeming insanity. If he was waiting for her opinion, she had none.

The girl. Use her. What your army cannot do, she could.
The voices inside his mind whispered, and the realization caused him to stop his maniacal laughing and move over to Leeith swiftly. "Of course, Of course. Leeith, my loyal captain. You would like to make your King proud would you not? After all, I can't go out to have my fun, and my army dare not move. But you sweet Leeith..." He took her hands in his, clasping them softly as he looked into her eyes. "You are as free as the wind. Kill Queen Lunestise for me Leeith."

Leeith frowned and removed her hands from her kings. Kill the queen of Crepusculum? It certainly was a difficult assignment, and very risky, but... She bowed. "If you wish it, my king."

"Yes I do wish it. Now off with you girl. I have, eh... much important things to do. Yes, very important." He rubbed his hands together in a plotting manner, yet glanced her way as if waiting for her to leave.

Leeith seemed irritated at his use of the word 'girl' but bowed again respectfully before leaving the room. She walked the hall silently, already planning he best way to kill the queen of Crepusculum with the least amount of problems. Most likely a poison of some sort. Something that acted quickly with no antidote. Finding the right poison will be a challenge in itself.. she mused as she headed for her rooms.

There was only silence by both until Leeith left his chambers, letting the doors fall closed with a heavy thud.
There's no way that she'll catch Queen Lunestise off guard Scarth. You'd best know she won't be able to just waltz in and kill her so easily. The Other growled disapprovingly.
"Heh, it doesn't matter. I just want some excitement. After all, if Milicia knows I made an attempt on her life, she'll have no choice but to send an army against me. Now that'll be a real treat! Besides, you never know. Leeith might just surprise us." Scarth sneered as he made for his terrace, overlooking his city with pride. "Now that that's done, I think it's time we headed out for a jaunt. The forest looks... appetizing tonight."
