""Would you stop poking me?" He said as he looked at Scarth. "And I will not help you. You are my enemy, why are you talking to me like we are friends?"

Hmm, he's so adorably oblivious. He will be fun.
"Come now, Yeligar. It's a break for everyone isn't it? After all our brave and wondrous leader danced with... whatever the blond pin cushion is. Doesn't that mean I can chat you up while I get ready to snack? You don't even know me, so you might like me. I just know I'm going to love you." Scarth kept a playful grin as he kept close to Yeligar, eyeing him up and guiding him towards the concession stand nearby.

"What is your true goal from this conversation?" He asked him, looking at him oddly. "Ok, what is it that you want to chat about?"

Lilith said only one thing and one thing only as she rested her hands firmly on her hips after Yeligar released them. "I have nothing to talk to you about!" she said with a nasty glare at Trucido. ((hey, if we're going to continue this interesting argument between Trucido and Lilith, should we maybe move it to another thread? xD; )

*Ok Sure.*
Trucido looked at her. "We need to." He said, "Right now."

Scarth, at last in front of the concession stand barked at the woman attending it to fetch him something tasty and a glass of wine. When she tried to ask what he just glared back at her with a deathly gaze. "I said fetch, not talk. Now fetch." He turned back to Yeligar, his expression doing a total 180. "Heh, well you know Yeligar, this and that. After all, you seem like a tender man. Hmm, oh yes very tender, so sweet and... uh caring yes. Surely a man like you must have an opinion of all this fighting we do?" Scarth resumed his peculiar behaviour, maintaining a close distance to Yeligar as his fingers moved just shy of touching him.
Just then the woman came back with a glass of red wine and a plate of something she called nachos. Scarth looked quizzically at it for a while before stretching out a pinching pair of fingers to pluck one chip and taste it. "Oh, scrumptious! Yeligar, why don't you get a glass of wine too and we can have ourselves a grand toast to this night and these... nachos I have just discovered."

"No thank you, I am not that big of a drinker." He said as he pulled out a cigar and he lit it. "I fight to protect. You attack me, I fight back to make sure you do not fight again. Your views?"

"Ooooh, how classic. Defender of truth! Master of the people! Champion of valor!" Scarth pranced around in a mocking fashion, each phrase accompanied with a dramatic pose. Bouncing around it seemed inevitable when Scarth stumbled over his own feet and sprayed his glass of wine all over Yeligar. His eyes widened and he looked stupefied as the crimson liquid covered Yeligar's upper body.
Scarth slid up to Yeligar and ran his finger along Yeligar and sucked the wine off his finger. "Mmm, marinade. Oh, sorry there pirate. But you know, red wine gets stains out of cloths eh? You should just leave it on, and it'll clean out every other stain you've got on you." His toothy grin maintained as he chomped down on his plate of nachos.
"But me, I fight because it's fun. The Other assures me he won't let me die, so I get to just enjoy myself to the fullest. Have you ever fought a foe where you had no fear at all? It's exihilerating, and Trucido promises me the power to ensure that I'll have no equal ever. But right now, I have something much more fun I can't wait to sink my teeth into." His eyes glazed over and his vision flickered back and forth from Yeligar and the rest of the room, as if he was looking for something.

Yeligar looked pissed. This was his 3rd cigar ruined by the Sumatas. He tried to light it back up, but it was useless. He threw it away, and pulled out the last of his cigars. He lit it up and took a huge puff from it. "What is this 'fun' you speak of?" he asked.

Scarth almost giggled like a school girl as he picked off the last of the plate of nachos. "Oh, well... you'll see. You'll see." Scarth stopped his prancing around Yeligar facing the man's back. Scarth smacked his lips together and readied himself to take a delectable chop out of unsuspecting Yeligar.
No, you idiot! Don't you even think about eating one of the Heroes right in here of all places. You could ruin everything for Trucido and the rest.
Awww, but Other, I'm so bored and for once I've found a man so oblivious to my efforts he isn't even the slightest bit suspicious. Besides, those nacho things didn't fill me at all.
The Other felt worried, he knew Scarth had been on edge since his battle with Angelus and he could sense the voices in his head were taking control. He needed something to appease Scarth lest the man ruin everything and be punished or even killed by Trucido. He could not let that happen.
Scarth, spare the Hero for now. Besides you just applied the marinade didn't you? Don't you know you need time to let it soak in if you want it to aid the taste of him? Be patient and take him on Crepusculum. If you do, I promise you a special treat tonight.
Scarth's eyes beamed brightly and he hopped back from Yeligar. Yes, I really should let him soak in the taste first shouldn't I? Oh Other you are so generous, I will behave. I promise. "Oh Yeligar, look I must admit that I do believe we could learn much from each other. When we arrive back on our world, come to my kingdom and I will welcome you as a guest. We're known for our fine cigars on Ariadelvento, and you look like a man that appreciates a good smoke."

"I will consider it." He said, "and next time, do not pour wine on me, and fake it as accident." He turned around, and walked off.

Scarth pouted slightly. "Hey I didn't fake anything... well, maybe the friendship, the interest, and the general notion I wanted anything but his flesh. But not the wine." Scarth moped to himself. "Well, s'pose I'd best had back to the stage. God I just hope that last show that was on is done by now. Ugh, maybe I'll just grab one of those star wearing babes for a bit if the rest of them are as bad." He bounded down the hallway, all but forgetting the events that transpired in the last few minutes.

((If everyone else is quite done interrupting... )) Alex moved in time to the movements, acting on cues he only half understood as he moved with the familiarity of practice in the intricate, symbolic, unpatterned dance the two of them wove. He didn't know how he knew this girl, but he did know er... his instinct told him that as he read her intentions from the position of her body and moved accordingly. The song sent a wave of remorse through him, though for what he did not know, and his heart throbbed along with it. His partner's face was an enigma, and they moved with certainty through years of history he couldn't touch or understand yet which hung between them like an invisible net, weaving around them. Who is she? he wondered. And... who am I?

Having disappeared for a short while, Lilith showed back in the hall again in much better spirits than when she had left. In fact, she was so happy that this time she showed back up with her arms around Trucido, though. The last dance hadn't finished yet, not that she really cared to watch it end anyway--it was the heroes dancing, afterall....well, she recognized the boy as Alexander's captain. Foolish young men...
((=/ well, Trucido and I moved our post somewhere else, and for some of the rest of us this is the ONLY thread we have going on in the entire game. So...we couldn't really sit around for two weeks twiddling our thumbs, ya know? XD ))

Elexa watched, interested. She knew the boy as the young Captainof Santo-Luce, but she hadn't seen the girl before - probably one of the heroes. Yes, that was it - one of the heroes, and she had seen her before. She was distracted. It was disconcerting, being around such a crowd, especially with the strange drain this place put on her. She would be glad to go home. Still, she watched them intently. Darkness clung to the girl, she could tell - it was her element, after all - and it was obvious the two had, somewhere and somewhen, known each otehr well.
I'd like to learn that story, she thought absently.
((Guys, I am so sorry about that comment. I meant it only as a joke, and... *sigh* I haven't really been the friendliest of people, lately and I don't know why... most likely because there's a lotta crap goin' on in my life with grades and friends and stuff offline... so if I say/said anything really annoyed or rude? Please forgive me.))
