Erick thrust the spear forward, catching the man in the throat. Erick rammed it completely through the mans throat and it emerged on the other side, the man ell to the ground gurgling. "Aeyara! Come on! We need to get out of here!" He held his hand out to pick her up.

She stared up at him for a moment.
He's alive... Oh, god he must hate me for tricking him-! she thought as she tried to get up, making her way over the the knife a thug had dropped and started carefully cutting the rope tieing her hands back. As soon as her hands were free, she pushed herself up and ran out the door.

He ran out after her. "Aeyara!Where are you going! The other way!" He kept pace with her. "IT's over! Relax!"

Aey tried to run faster, heading for a small crowd of people, hoping she could lose him in there. Unfortunately she was having a bit of trouble breathing, which slowed her down a bit.

He caught up with her, wrapping his hands around her waist. "Relax! It's okay, it's me!" He tried to soothe her.

She struggled against him for a little bit, then gave up, and started to cry.
"I...I'm sorry..." she gasped.

"For what?.." He asked in a confused tone and he motioned her in the direction of the hotel.

"For...for ... you know..." she said as she tried to wipe away her tears. She shook her head when he motioned.
"No... I... I should go..." she said as she backed away.

She shook her head again and turned away.

He stood there. "NO! I risk my life saving you! I nearly died three times! I killed some men, you can't just walk away!" He grabbed her hand and spun her around.

"You almost died because of me! This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't dragged you into this! All I've ever done is complain and cause trouble, and I don't want you to really get killed because of that." she said as she looked him in the eyes.

He looked her in the eyes and smiled, "Who wants a dull life?" He pulled her close and kissed her, locking their lips together.

Aey was surprised at first when he kissed her, but got used to it very quickly...
Damn he's a good kisser... she thought as she wraped her arms around him and kissed him back.

He continued kissing her and eventually broke away the kiss. "I don't want to ever let you go..." He smiled and kissed her again.
