After her encounter with Ramirez De Zoro in Santo-Luce, Faeylinn had been wandering around Allorum trying to find someone to teach her how to use her new-found healing magic. She and Vaan had stopped at a few places were sick people were sent to recuperate, and though a few people had miraculously recovered when she touched them Faey still couldn't control when she used her magic, or even what triggered it's release. It had been almost two weeks now, and despite asking everywhere she didn't hear about anyone else with healing powers except Jasmine Loque. Faey knew who she was- she'd been healed by her once, during the fight with the saints- but she had no idea where to find her, and neither did anyone she asked.

"Cheer up, Faey. I'm sure we'll find someone eventually." He smiled at her, putting an arm around her and giving her a quick little hug.

"I know." Faey smiled and hugged him back. "But it is getting pretty frustrating... I thought I might be able to help people, but it's been two weeks and I still can't do anything."

He patted her arm, still hugging her. "Sure you can, Faey. You may not be able to control it yet, but you can still do something. That's better than not being able to do anything at all,r ight?"

"I guess..." She trailed off, looking around the temple. "This place is really nice." She walked over to one of the walls, running her fingers over the embellished metal and embedded jewels. "This place must have been very expensive to build..."

Also wandering the temples were two Anthropomorphic creatures. One was a rather gruff looking creature who stood at 7 feet tall, and looked like a mix between a goat and a dog. He was quite a bit overweight, and he looked rather bored. His arm was bandaged up, and he looked about ready to leave.
His companion however was a graceful looking tabby cat with long black wavy hair, and a long flowing dress. She stood at 5, 7 and looked like quite the opposite next to this larger scruffy man. She spoke to the dog like creature in a gentle voice, and smiled. "Aren't these structures fascinating?" She asked him, her purple eyes sparkling. Her gruff companion shrugged. "Ye've seen one buildin', ye've seen 'em all. Now if ye ask me, I say we finish up 'ere and find the Prince as soon as possible!" He moved his arm slowly, as if it were sore, and he grumbled.
The tabby cat showed no signs of getting irritated with him, and continued to smile. "Is your arm bothering you again, Tavarius?" She asked, removing the bandage on his arm to reveal many scars along it. "Let me help." She closed her eyes and spoke in a strange elvish language, and magic swirled in her hands as she did motions with them. With more movement, the magic transferred from her hands and swirled around Tavarius's arm. Once the magic had subsided, His scars were gone, and he looked a little surprized. "Well I'll be." He said.
The Tabby cat merely smiled. "You're welcome." She said.
The two didn't seem to notice that they were not alone...at least not yet.

Vaan stopped. And stared.
"Faey, did you just see...?"

Faey nodded, her mouth hanging open. Then she shook her head quickly, gathering her thoughts and walked over quickly before she could have a second thought about it. "Excuse me.. How did you do that?" It took a few seconds for her to process that one of these people was cat-like, and the other seemed to be a weird mix between a dog, a person, and a goat... But she'd seen the scars on the man's(?) arm, and seen the other one- a girl, Faey thought- heal them. Maybe she can teach me

The two anthropomorphic creatures turned around as they heard the voices of these two strangers.
The Tabby cat smiled kindly. "Oh, do forgive me. I didn't realize we were not alone." She said. "Oh, just now? It was merely a simple healing spell my dear. I'm a sorceress." She paused, then her eyes widened. "Oh how rude of me! I've not even introduced myself! I'm Saffron. Saffron Cilvah." The cat then bowed in an elegant manner to Faey, and smiled at her and Vaan.
The other, and much larger creature seemed a little less enthusiastic about the situation, but he nodded and stated his name regardless. "Tavarius Harlan. Though most folks know me as Tav."He said.
"May I ask what your names are? I can't say I've ever met a human." Saffron asked.

Faey smiled and held out a hand to shake. "My name is Faeylinn, it's nice to meet you, Saffron and Tav! This is Vaan, my boyfriend" She turned and smiled aty Vaan. I can't believe this luck! "I know this is a bit straightforward, but the short story is as of late I found out I have some kind of healing magic. But I have no clue how to use it, or control it. I know we've just met and all, and this is a lot to ask a stranger, but... Could you please teach me? Just a little bit, i mean. I want to know how to use my magic, and to gt it to work when I want to- right now it seems to work only sporadically." Faey cut off her babbling before she could continue.

Saffron's eye's lit up at Faey's question, and a big smile found it's way on her face. "Oh sweetie, I'd be happy to try and teach you!" She exclaimed. "Tav and I are from a Realm known as Mageia.... We ended up in Allorum by mistake....or maybe not. Maybe this is the reason I've been sent here! To teach you! " Saffron was surprizingly eager about this. "I don't know if Magic works the same here as it does in Mageia, but surely I will teach you the same basic principles!" She said. Tav just blinked, unsure of what to make of this. He was rather surprised by this whole ordeal.

Faey smiled and hugged Saffron. "Yay!" After a moment she let go and stepped back, still grinning widely. "Oh, and I'm not from Allorum either, I'm actually from Earth. We don't have magic there, so I was really surprised when I found out I had healing powers." Faey turned to Vaan and hugged him too- she was just so unbelieveably happy now.

He grinned and hugged her back. "This is wonderful, Faey! I'm glad we found someone." He held her close, and overher shoulder, told the Mageians, "We can't thank you enough."

Saffron smiled. "Well it seems we're both new to this land then. I can't say I've ever visited earth though. What's it like?" She asked. She was full of questions, eager to learn things about people.
She then smiled at Vaan. "Well after 150 years, it's about time to put my abilities towards a worthwhile cause." It seemed rather strange to hear her say this, as she looked no older than her mid twenties.
Tav sighed and scratched his ear.

Faey smiled, going reminiscent. "Well, Earth is a lot like Allorum, except instead of magic we have technology. There are vehicles that an travel over 200 miles an hour, and others that can carry hundreds of people and fly. We also have small devices that have music on them- the music is recorded, then sold in the recorded form and you can listen to it over and over without anyone else hearing it."
