[Ramirez De Zoro]

Ramirez got a letter from the high scholars from Dunnzol, asking if he could go, and check up on a fellow researcher. He was located at the Brina Palace, and haven't reported back in a few weeks. Ramirez wore a large coat, and travel to the palace. After a few weeks of traveling, he finally saw the palace. He walked in, and examine the rooms, looking for his fellow scholar. After a while, he walked into the royal hall, and saw a mangle body. He walked over, and started to examine the body, and found the medal of the Templar scholar. "Damn..." He said as he walked around, looking for the scrolls of the scholar. He then heard the crunching of snow near the door.
"Did you do that?" Ramirez asked as he pointed to the body, facing the other way.

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

A tall Anthropomorphic cat with red fur and glasses entered the room. He had been searching for answers, and had found a way to enter the Brina Palace. He stopped quickly and turned, seeing the young man adress him.

He eyed the body and his ears went back and his eyes widened, as he took a step back. "Oh Bloody hell! Of course not!" He answered with a thick british accent. "It seems as though I've picked a rather bad time to arrive....as It appears as though foul play is afoot."

"Does it honestly matter?" He asked him, " Unless the scrolls are gone, then I do not need worry about the body." He continue to look around and not disturb the place, so that the next scholar could get the most accurate research.
"Honestly, he is the lucky one."

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

The cat pushed his glasses up and sighed. "Slow down lad. I've only just met you. I don't know of your name, or what these scrolls are that you speak of. Please. Shall we start from the beginning. Only then is it possible I may aid you in the answers you seek." He straightened his posture and waited for a response.

[Ramirez De Zoro]

"The answers I seek is not all in one being, excluding the All-God." He told the being behind him. He turned and face him, "I am just now looking for scrolls like my work isn't important. If you desire my name, it is Ramirez De Zoro. If you feel like you need to state your name, then state it." He walked towards him, and went to the wall behind him, feeling it. "I was sent to find scrolls of important information for this icy palace. Does that satisfy you?"

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

"Ah, I see." The cat pushed up his glasses. "Very well, if you so desire my name, it's Kaku. Kaku Rokkakyu." The cat spoke, moving out the the way, so Ramirez could inspect the wall. It seemed like a rather strange thing to do, but perhaps he was looking for a hidden switch of sorts. "Quite so, that answer will suffice."

"Good, now you can run along, and not touch anything." He said, until he felt an brick that stuck out only a little bit further out than the others. He then pressed it hard, and there was the sounds of cogs turning, and meshing together, the the wall opened from the bottom, only enough so someone could crawl though. Ramirez lay down and crawled into the hidden room.
"If you are coming, then I would hurry."

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

"What do you take me for? A child?!" Kaku sounded rather annoyed. "If anything, I expect I'm much older than you in regards to age." He raised an eyebrow in surprize. At first Ramirez was telling him to "run along" like a child, and now he was inviting him to follow? A strange human this one was...

All the same though, it wasn't like Kaku had anything better to occupy his time with... And perhaps he'd be able to find the answers he seeked for himself. He put his bitter feelings aside, and spoke a quick chant in elvish. All at once, swirls of Magic engulfed him, and once they'd dissapeared, Kaku had taken the form of a regular sized housecat. It would be easier for navigating such a small area, rather than trying to squeeze through on his belly. He walked in a dainty manner into the hidden room after Ramirez, and once inside, cast another spell to return himself to his usual height of 6, 4".

"Most intriguing.." He commented, adjusting his glasses after the temporary transformation he'd just gone through.

[Ramirez De Zoro]

"I don't care how old you are. I just want to get the scrolls, and get out." He said as he lit a torch he found on the wall. He looked around and started to walk down the path in front of him.

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

Kaku ignored his statement and followed in his usual elegant manner down the path after Ramirez.

Since he'd arrived in Allorum, he'd heard bits and peices of stories, and he wanted to see the big picture rather than have to make his own assumptions. Reasearch was key, as assumptions could be wrong. Perhaps these scrolls would provide some answers.

Ramirez walked down the quiet palace, then he saw a light, and ran towards it. When he reached there, he found a small campsite with the fire ember still glowing the empty room. Ramirez quickly looked around, and found a symbol that was on a octagon, with a cross inside of it. "So, this was indeed his camp...." He said to himself, and started to look though the stuff, "If you find the scrolls, do not touch them."
