She nodded. "My father was originally from Ignis, he married my mother as part of an alliance. Although I'm guessing it's probably changed since I last heard of it."

"I am...my father was just a nobleman in Ignis who married the heir to Ghiacchio." She shrugged. "I wouldn't have any standing at all in Ignis anymore. It was just a simple alliance to prevent any future disputes."

Kara nodded again, feeling like some kind of history teacher. "Countries of fire and ice can clash a lot. My people were tired of the fighting. That's what I was told of the matter anyway."
