"This place certainly is beautiful, the way the rocks are formed, the way the light shone off the many various minerals and rocks.

*I've been here for three days....I'm tired of all these rocks........Why haven't I heard from anyone, where are the gods...where are the people....This whole place is a ghost world. I might as well wander looking for a forest, then at least I can hunt properly.*
Polydeukes begins to walk towards up and out of the quarry.

"Hey down there! You alright?"
The voice came from a teenager, wearing a short-leeved green jacket over a dark red shirt with rolled up long sleeves. His short, blue-black hair waved in the slight breeze, and his arms were covered in black, swirling tattoos, edged ever so faintly in gold. In a resting position was a long staff topped with a long blade about the length of a shortsword - a naginata.

"Yes, I am alright," Polydeukes shouted up and out of the quarry and began climbing out.
"Who are you," says the young man when he finishes the climb.

Polydeukes takes the young mans hand and stands up, "Nice to meet you Kouichi," Polydeukes says as he shakes the hand that helped him up. "My name is Polydeukes Damon, son of the Huntress Atalanta and the God Apollo, you can call me Dukes if you would like."
Polydeukes looks kouichi in the eyes and says "thank you for your helping me up, but could I ask you what this world I am in is?'

Kouichi blinked.
"Son of..." He shook his head. "Nevermind. Um, this place is called Crepusculum, I think. We're in the rock kingdom... a lot of this world is deserted, mostly because of a group of evil people who are tryiing to take it over... At least, that's what I've managed to glean from the people here."

Polydeukes turned sharply checking around them to make sure it was safe
"I haven't seen very many people here, its hard for me to believe that there could be a group anywhere."

He chuckled. "Hard to get through your mind, isn't it?" he asked, smiling. "A lot of this place is deserted... reminds me of the last time I did something like this..."
The memories flooded his head like a wave, the darkness of night as they went further in, the emptiness... darkness, everywhere, and he was it's ruler, his red sword bit into flesh...
He shook his head forcefully, trying to dispel the memory. "Anyway... why don't we travel together? The guy I was traveling with took off in another direction a while back."
