((OPEN, really. If anyone wants to leap in, do it XD))
Alexander, having cleared his thoughts through Seigmand, started his journey home to Santo-Luce. Only another good hour before he would be back at the shoreline, getting onto a boat and heading back to his home and confronting Holmes about something that he may have very well been hiding from him for so long. What would the man have been hiding from him? Why was everyone acting...strange?
Speaking of strange, it was then that Alexander heard a low growl from beside him. Turning his head, he found Foxy had stopped, eyes narrowed and teeth baring at a...bush.
Alexander raised an eyebrow.
"Who's there?" he sighed. Seriously, if it weren't for Foxy or Alex, he probably would have been dead by now, never realizing when he was followed and all. From the bushes suddenly leaped a woman garbed in thin, black clothing and wielding a long sword. Her red hair was pulled back into a short ponytail and she glared at the fox as she brought her sword at the ready by her side.
"King Alexander Frexton of Santo-Luce, is it?" she asked. Alexander's eyes widened slightly at the sight of the woman and he nodded.
"Yes...? Why? I'm busy, I need to go home."
"I'm not allowed to let you go home," she answered and took a step towards him. Foxy growled louder and snapped her jaw at the woman, who responded by glaring back at her yet.
"You're angering my pet. What's going on?" Alexander backed away, keeping his hand tightly on his staff. The woman kept her stare on Foxy.
"I answer no questions--get out of my way, you rat!" she spat and immediately slashed at the fox, who reacted by jumping to the side and leaping right at the woman, trying to chomp down into her forearm. She kicked the beast in the stomach and threw her sword down on her.
"W-wait, what the hell are you doing?!" Alexander shouted, not trying to get in the battle--Foxy looked like she was doing alright so far by herself.

A young, blond man wearing a long, red coat happenedupon them at just that exact wrong moment.
"Urg..... hungry.... huh?"
He looked up at the battle.
"Hey! That ain't nice, miss! Whatcha beating up on that poor little fox for? And... hey, that guy looks like he's in trouble too! Are you some kinda assassin or something? You look like an assassin! Mannn.... what the hell is up with you people? You really need to just give up and get along! Peace, love, and justice, right?"
Whoever he was? He was obviously nuts.

At that moment, Alex dropped form a nearby tree, wings outstretched to keep him from dying as he brought his sword-pommel down on the assassin, attempting to knock her out.

Foxy continued to growl viciously, trying to get herself back up to attack at the woman again but stopped as Alex came down from the tree at her. Taking this as a cue, the assassin immediately turned herself around, bringing her foot up at the captain to try to kick him...well, wherever she could kick him before he hit her with the sword.
Foxy took her distraction as her own cue to leap back at the assassin, whom of which flipped backwards and nearly flipped into Vash. She took a leap back, examining all four figures in front of her and raising an eyebrow.
"W-who are all of you!?" she spat and kept her sword ready to attack anyone who came at her, "my business is only with King Alexander of Santo-Luce, not you two!"
Her eyes narrowed at Foxy who also stood, back and tail arched with her fur standing on end. This could go badly if she didn't be careful to plan around the dark-haired man and the fox being able to gang up on her... And she didn't even know if the lost blond fellow was really much to worry about. He certainly was distracting, that was for sure.

"King?" Vash blinked and looked at the only other blond in the circle. "You're a king?" He sounded surprised.

"Of course he's a king!" snapped Alex, folding his wings and glaring at the assassin. "And I'm his Captain, so don't say that I'm not involved in this, because it's my job to be involved."

Vash blinked.
"Hey, you've got wings! You can't be from around here, can you? Are you from Santo-Luce? Is that why you have wings? And your wings are strange, you have two pairs! I mean, I've been wandering around a while, but I've never met someone with two pairs of wings before!"
He was babbling with the air of someone desperately trying to change a subject so a fight wouldn't break out.

The assassin narrowed her eyes at Alex next.
"I suppose it's your job for you to die for him too, if you're so involved with--" her eye twitched as Vash spoke up, she tried to ignore him as really, she needed to stay focused on the situation at hand. Yet at the same time, it was hard to keep focused on the other three when she was unsure if this guy was an enemy of hers as well or not.
"Who ARE you?" she demanded of Vash, keeping her eyes on the others.
Alexander also looked slightly confused. He blinked at Vash and glanced at Foxy, who seemed to care less that Vash was even around.
"Um...sir, I think you're not quite understanding what's going on..." he said, pointing at the assassin across from him, "I...I think she's going to kill me...or try to."
He then suddenly shot his own glare at the woman as he added in, "for what reason I don't know--speak up, you're outnumbered here anyway!" She merely scoffed at him.
"I was hired to if you must know," she answered with a grin, "and now if you don't mind..."
She then shot herself forward--she'd ignore the other three for now. She could escape them if she had to, but her primary goal was to kill the king.

Alex got mad. When Alex got mad, wierd shit happened, as was the case this time, when a bolt of that black-and-white lightning shot out and circled her, blocking her path to Alexander as it lashed out towards her from where it sat.
He hadn't meant to do that...

"I'm Vash, if you must know... yeah, that Vash, the bringer of bad luck, the Stampede, the Human Typhoon, whatever. Looks like I've done it again..." He sighed... then blinked as Alex did what he did.
"What the heck was that?!" he shouted.

The assassin's eyes widened slightly, totally thrown off-guard by the attack done to her by Alex. What the hell was that!?
"GAH!" she had let out a short shriek as she nearly fell backwards, stumbling to keep her balance and try avoiding the attack at the same time. The lightning whipped at her and up her arms and she growled angrily.
"Looks like I'll have to do this a little differently--I'll have to dispose of you first," she turned her attention to Alex and moved to attack him next.

Alex's eyes blazed literally, and another bolt of the rage-lightning flew at her - a more conventional straight bolt this time, and Alex followed up with a thrust of his sword. "Don't ask me! I've been trying to figure it out for at least a month!" he shouted at the assassin (and the man called 'Vash') as he charged.

The lightning moved so fast the assassin couldn't dodge it. She gritted her teeth and tried to not show the pain she was in as she was hit by it, trying to recover quickly to deflect the sword strike that Alex threw at her next. The moment she saw her opening she took a quick side-swipe at him with her own blade.
Foxy had run around behind her and sunk her teeth right into the back of her leg. Alexander watched with wide eyes as the woman was...'brutally attacked' by both his captain and his pet.
"This...this isn't going to end well, is it? I think somehow I'm starting to feel sorry for the lady, actually," Alexander blinked, watching the scene in front of him. He wasn't a battling genius or anything, but he was more than convinced that the red-headed woman was definitely screwed in this battle.

Alex took a glancing blow from the side-swipe, then struck again, this time attempting to focus the rage that was fed by the lightning... and, somehow, he could sense the assassin's own anger, and realized it was feeding his own. At that moment, his sword was covered with the strange lightning.
What the hell am I? his mind shouted.

The assassin bounded backward, even more confused at Alex now and his strange abilities. The sword in particular was incredibly odd....
"What the hell?!" she shouted, starting to lose her cool. She shook her head and tried to take it up a notch, throwing in a series of slashes, mixed with feints and even a kick to the main vein behind Alex's ear.
