((open to anyone, I don't care who you are XD Multiple people is even better than that!))
Silicis city stood powerful and lively as it always had, with people hustling about in large crowds. An even bigger crowd of people surrounded the moat-like pit that went around the whole city, where they all watched folks fall in or leap in to fight the vicious beasts that were inside of it. Sometimes a really unlucky soul was thrown in to be a hilarious show for some of the cruel people watching from above.
One of the people at the moment who watched not the fight scenes, but the beasts themselves, was a young teenage girl with blonde hair that fell to her neck. At the moment she was wearing a long, light purple robe over an outfit of the same colour, and she hugged close to her a large, brown bag that attached to her left shoulder but slung down to her right side (as to prevent losing it or theft).
Jasmine stared down at the beasts with interest. They were terryfing, they were mighty, she needed something from them, and she couldn't go down there to get it.

Mark: Young lady, do you find this interesting? *She might not have noticed it but a man with spiky blond hair appeared next to her watching the fight with a disgusted look on his face.*

Jasmine quickly shot her head in the direction of Mark, looking up at him with wide, terrified eyes.
"No, I don't," she slowly, honestly answered, "it's cruel and shouldn't be like this..."
She looked back down into the pit, then, clutching the strap of her bag even tighter as she gave a painful wince at a man who just had his back shattered down below. Her whole body shook hearing the terrible screams.
".....I need one of their teeth...." she quietly said, pointing a shaking finger to one of the beasts inside of the pit.

*Mark looked down at the creature who had just taken the victory.*
Mark: Why do you need it so bad?

Jasmine's blue eyes gave him a cautious look, being that he was a stranger to her and all.
"Sir, I am a sage," she responded quietly and calmly, "I've studied many books, found many spells and recipes for potions that require some of the rarest ingredients known to this world, and even ones that are the hardest to acquire. I'm doing this for someone very dear to me, I have to put some of these things together to help him, you see..."
She looked back down at the beast, who now took to its own business with the dead body that lay underneath its massive feet. A sickening feeling filled her stomach, thinking of how she was going to get close to it. The gods would help her, she knew...but even with their help she was still only a healer.

*She was right about one this: the gods are helping her.*
Mark: A sage, huh? *Mark looked around.* Stay here, I'll be a minute.
*Mark turned and vanished into the crowed, a minute later the announcer called out.*
Announcer: Ladies and gentle men! We actually have someone who will WILLING fight the monster, his name... Mark Angelus Fri!
*Two people pushed Mark into the ring with the creature.*

Jasmine's eyes widened when she heard the name. Mark Angelus Fri? It couldn't have been...
The small-framed girl held her bag closely to her and pushed through the crowd to get a closer look into the pit, just to be sure. She let out a gasp when she saw for herself, yes, the young man that was just beside her was now getting into the pit to challenge the horrible beast inside of it.
"What are you doing?!" she yelled, unsure if her voice was heard among the cheers and screams of the spectators, and she didn't care if it wasn't heard. Her heart pounded, she felt a little dizzy, she didn't want to be the reason for him to die if the beast got the better of him...
And Jasmine Loque's eyes suddenly narrowed themselves and she let go of the bag she held to clasp her hands together. She was a sage, a healer.
'Even if things go bad, he won't die...not if I help him...' she thought, determination rising in her. If he was going to do what she thought he was going to do (or at least what she hoped), then she had to help; this was for Andy and Kara, afterall.

*Mark turned his back to the monster to look at her and smirked.*
Mark: What do you mean? I'm getting that tooth for you! *The creature saw the opening and ran up opening it's large mouth to bite his back, suddenly Mark threw out his hand right into the mouth, a light started glowing in it's mouth forming a blade that Mark held keep it's mouth from clamping down on his hand.* I didn't hear the announcer say 'go' now did I?
*He pulled his blade away kicking the creature back.*
Mark: Don't worry about it, I'll take care of this thing in a minute... possibly two.

Jasmine's eyes widened as he turned his back entirely on the monster and it charged at him. Thankfully he stopped it, and she let out a sigh of relief upon seeing it, too.
"I won't worry about anything as long as you keep focused on that thing, sir!!" Jasmine yelled with a scolding tone back into the pit at Mark. She watched him move, she heard his voice, she was able to grasp the general air about him.
He appeared to be trustworthy. She'd have to test it a little further, so she was still a little cautious about him. But something about him almost reminded her of Andy...

Mark: Alright, alright. *He said in a slight joking tone and as sidestepped to dodge the creatures paw then plunged his sword into it's leg then pulling his blade down tearing it's leg completely off. He growled swinging it's other paw at Mark, he took the blow sending him rolling to the wall, it then opened it's mouth shooting out... leaches?*
Mark: What the...? *Mark asked trying to pull it off, it's creature made an odd noise from it's tong, a second later the leaches on Mark blew up making him give a groan of pain.* Leaches...? for a bomb? Damn, it caught me off guard big time.

She couldn't help but smile at the way that Mark joked while battling - Andy wasn't nearly as calm, he usually yelled and swore. ...however, something about that was adorably funny to her. Even now she couldn't stop the way her eyes lit up and the giggle that escaped from that grin of hers thinking about him.
She shook herself back to attention as she watched the beast's next attack on Mark. She thought she saw the young man wince and she immediately outstretched her left hand - the strange design that was scarred into her hand glowed faintly as she repaired any damage that had been done to Mark; in return, some of her own energy was drained and she promptly fell to her knees on the ground, unable to hold herself up for the time being.
Jasmine opened up the bag by her side and began digging in it - she had a potion in there to fix up her own problem now, she knew. Whether the gods would be happy with that or not was a different story, of course, but she'd deal with them later - her main priority right now was aiding this man as he was helping her.

*Mark looked at his wounds heal right away, he was confused at first but then saw Jasmine fall to her knees. He looked at the creature.*
Mark: Ah man, look what happen you her, I better finish this up fast or it will stain me for life... *He swung a couple times then dodged it's paw and was then caught off guard when it jumped into the air shooting leaches down at him, he threw up his hand in defense guarding from the leaches, it worked but his hand at one leach on him.* Shoot...
*The creature landed and was going to open it's mouth when Mark ran up shoving the hand with the leaches right into it's mouth, it stopped.*
Mark: Heh... I got you, go on, detonate those leaches. *He smirked.* Oh wait you can't, oh well, if you won't use that tong then I'll just take it! *He pulled his hand away ripping the tong out of it's mouth then taking no more time and slamming his blade right into it's head killing it.* That's better, now for that tooth.
*He walked over taking his blade and cut out a bunch of teeth throwing them into a bag. The crowed cheered as Mark pushed his way to Jasmine dropping the bag in front of her and bending to her level.*
Mark: Thanks a lot out there, although, I think I could have taken him... you okay?

Jasmine was amazed at the young man's skill - the crowd was happy, they got their bloodbath of a show. Some were even a little surprised that a young lady like Jasmine could sit and watch something so gruesome but not flinch. She was a healer, afterall, and had seen much worse than this, yet...
She smiled as he brought the bag of teeth to her and she giggled slightly as she responded, "T-thank you, sir. I am also fine, just a little tired is all. You are of a good heart, you know."

*He rubbed the back of his head.*
Mark: It's nothing, just doing what I'm best at. *He stood up holding out his hand to help her out.* But it might be a good idea to get out of here as fast as possible, these lands are ruled by Sumata...
*Mark never gave it much thought that she might have been with the Sumata but he doubted it.*

Jasmine allowed Mark to help her up and as she got to her feet she smiled up at him and said, "Oh, sir, I'm not afraid of the Sumata."
It was a bold thing for a girl like her to say, especially when you never knew who nearby was part of the Sumata and who was not. And really, she said she wasn't scared yet she still had her moments, for sure.
'Teach me to be brave, Andy. You'll at least do that for me...' she thought to herself many a time, and she was thoroughly convinced that if she believed that Andy would be there for her, she'd never need to feel afraid.
Somewhere, she was certain that he was not afraid of getting killed because Jasmine was there watching out for him, too, even if he seemed to avoid outwardly saying, "I believe in you too, Jasmine." Such a silly boy, with a silly pride. She didn't understand men in the least.
"Many of the lands are ruled by the Sumata, but I come from the kingdom of Crepusculum - our leader is a good soul. I need not be afraid when the twilight gods are watching over me, and Andy looks out for me, too," Jasmine never once thought she should have kept any of that confidential - she really was too much like her mother sometimes.
