Seigmand wandered into the vast emptiness of the Abyssus meeting hall. The stark whiteness of the room was almost eerie to him after having just trudged through the dank and dark wasteland of Vuoto. He had expected to be the first one, after all. The messages to the rest of the Sumata and Trucido had been sent only shortly after he left for Abyssus, but he was prepared to wait.
It had been too long now since Trucido had contacted them. Too long that the Sumata had stood silently by wondering what was going to happen next. And while Seigmand could care less for the other royals, it was their leader that worried him. Did he have the relics he needed yet? Had he already completed his plan? It was something he didn't know, and it scared him more than anything.
That's when he noticed it. One of the chairs had been raised. Who could have beaten me here? Seigmand climbed into the nearest seat, though he nearly jumped out when he saw the figure sitting across from him. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?" His hands slapped against the table to gain the attention of the mysterious stranger.

Taggert simply glanced as his pocket watch before clapping it shut and turning his attention to Seigmand.
"Now, now. No need to get so off key. I'm the new resident on this abode. Let's try to make this amicable, shall we? I'm Taggert Sostenuto and the newest member of the Sumata XIII. And you are?" He said with a devilish smirk as he tapped on the table with a steady rhythm.

"I..." Seigmand coughed and cleared his throat, deciding to play along for now till the others arrived. "I am Seigmand Dezmar, ruler of Roccia. Forgive my rudeness, but I admit I did not know we were taking new recruits." Seigmand scratched his chin, deciding to pull some answers out of the young man for now. "It's funny actually. I didn't think another of the other rulers had died since last we met. You wouldn't happen to be the new king of Chalybs would you?"

"Oh, Seigmand Dezmar, the King of Roccia. Why you were just a little boy when I last heard about you," he chuckled while adjusting his hat. "And in regard to "who" I am, I'm not tied down by something so wasteful as a kingdom and all it's petty little inhabitants. I earned this seat, unlike the rest of you who just had this handed to you due to your precious little titles," He jeered with a grin still on his face.
Shuffling around in his seat, Taggert opens his watch and glances at it again, his attention no longer directly focused on Seigmand.
"But such pointless banter aside, it's a pleasure to meet you. I at least hope the other members are as educated and cultured as you are, as it would be a nice respite from the droves of mediocrity that I've spent the last while dealing with."

"And a pleasure to meet you as well Taggert." Seigmand said with the most forced smile he'd had to endure in some time. "Though I'd be careful to watch that mouth of yours. Some of my cohorts may not have the sharpest minds, but they find solace in the sharpness of their blades, and they so love to show off."
I can't believe it. A new member employed by Trucido? This is indeed bad. Someone added so late could only an attempt to secure some reassurance in our loyalty. Seigmand pondered the newcomer.

The doors flew open as a wave of black writhing limbs spilled out into the room, stopping just past the door's frame. Scarth leapt in as a whirling dervish, his moves graceful and sleek as he twisted through the air, the black tendrils twisting like the frills of a dress. He landed, his stance and expression exuding style. There was only silence for a moment till the annoying sucking of chocolate milk through a straw echoed throughout the room. "Ahhhhhhh, I LIEK CHOCOLATE MILK!" Scarth reeled back and laughed before slipping into his chair.
"Seigy, how was my entrance? I wanted something to really dazzle the audience, you know? Something that makes people say, 'that Scarth's great!'" The words echoed back to him, and he smiled ear to ear. "Did you hear that? They love me Seigy!" He took a sip from his drink, something he'd been nursing since he left from his kingdom. Suddenly he slumped over, staring at Taggert. His eyes didn't leave the man, unblinking with a puzzled expression that asked, 'What's going on?'

"I assure you, Dezmar, I don't care how keen their blades are, as..." was all Taggert could mutter before the echoing slam of the large double doors and Scarth's entrance interrupted him. Watching closely as the boistrous man made his way up to join Seigmand and Taggert, he couldn't help but notice something odd about the newcomer. He had a aura resembling that of dark energies, but this was different from any he had experienced before, and the very notion of enigmatic power made his heart flutter with excitement.
What a divine specimen! This man holds something, something...unique. I'll enjoy taking him apart and seeing just what makes his tick, but that shall be postponed for a later date. I've got to get cozy with these people before I start killing them, after all, it's the courteous thing to do.
"I am your new companion, Taggert Sostenuto. And who, may I ask, are you, my enthusiastic cohort?"

Scarth reeled back, blinking once before turning to Seigmand, his puzzlement only heightened. "Seigmand, that top hat is talking to me." His head turned back to Taggert as he tried to compose himself. "Well yes and hello to you too. I am Scarth, master of the floating continent." He leaned in to take a closer look.
"I must admit, you are quite an interesting looking fellow. Such a dainty body though, you really should find another one." Scarth crossed his arms, confident he'd played the situation perfectly.

Taggert's eyes narrowed, his expression showing that he was obviously not amused with Scarth jeers.
"Please, spare me such absurdities. You are barely the master of your own cognition let alone a Kingdom. If your interested in jocularity, then simply look in a mirror and repeat yourself, that alone should satisfy."
But Taggert couldn't completely disregard Scarth's seemingly insane ramblings, not with him being so informal with Seigmand and with Seigmand not reprimanding him for his uncouth behavior towards Royalty. It seemed like there was a pattern, and if Taggert was right in his assumption, a delicious little nugget was about to find it's way into his lap.

Seigmand could only crumple to the table, his elbows supporting him as he rubbed his temples ferverishly. Why? Why'd it'd have to be him first? "No Scarth, this is a new member of the Sumata. Now please just sit and drink your drink." Seigmand turned to Taggert, deciding to take the lesser of the two evils. "And in some cases, there's not a sharpness to be found at all." He chuckled, confident that Scarth wouldn't pick up on it.
"So Taggert, what is it you can do to have so quickly earned a place on our exclusive team anyways?" His tone switched, reflecting the seriousness the room had held only a while ago.

Taggert chuckled at Seigmands comment, but quickly found himself once again under the proverbial interrogation lamp as Seigmand tried to glean more information from him.
"Perhaps you missed my comment about my interest in such pointless chit-chat, but if you insist on inquiring about such asinine details, then it was because I assisted Sir Damnedblood in dispensing of some brash youths, or rather, in scaring them off. Now if you'll excuse me, King Dezmar, I grow weary of your constant questioning, so should you feel the need to continue, don't," he said abruptly, as he sat back in his chair and adjusted his coat collar.

Celtik walked into the hall, and he looked around, and saw Seigmand, and Scarth. "Great..." He muttered. He walked onto an empty throne, and sat down. "When Trucido gets here, wake me up. I am as tired as hell." He then closed his eyes.

Xïsa had walked into Abyssus, and when into the meeting hall. He walked down, and saw 3 Sumatas and a man sitting in the chair. "Great.... a new person." He said as he sat in his throne.

Trucido walked into the room and saw his Sumatas were there, including his newest member. "Ah, Hello my Sumatas. I have see that you have met the newest of our team, Taggert Sostenuto." He said as he sat in his throne.

At last. Seigmand thought to himself, glad to have their 'leader' finally here. "Trucido milord, I was hoping you'd get my message." He rubbed his hands together anxiously. "Sadly the others have not arrived just yet, but I'm afraid what I have to ask can't be held off anymore."
"We've been waiting for some time now Trucido. Waiting to hear from you again. After the little incident with Night, I think I can speak for those of us here that we'd begun to wonder if you'd lost faith in us. But even worse sir, is that we are beginning to lose our faith in you. Ignis is captured and even helping Crepusculum in conquering Ketunlunanox. Yet you have forbid us from engaging. Why sir?"
