(Note: This is a set up to the big battle. As such, only Aya, Celes, Ingway, Incendia and Liatra will be in this post. I will only be posting this to set the scene.)
It had been weeks since their last push through the desolate lands of Ketulunanox. It wasn't surprising, the advantage of ambushing the Sumata's forces were gone, and the road to Xisa had been much harder that with Onyx. Even with the added forces of the Ignisian army, and the aid of Celes and Aya they had met their match at the hands of the Sumata's abhorrent army. The things were faceless, ruthless and seemingly limitless. Though the new forces Xisa had had waiting for them at the Moonwatcher's Keep seemed to be made of plants, they were anything but easy to mow down.
The Crepusculum generals had given their orders; tonight would be a full assault on the keep. No retreating, only killing till the fortress was theirs. Even as the men lined up ready to strike, the moon in the night sky seemed to look down above them, taunting them all. Spirits were low, and they prayed for a miracle to defeat the faceless army.
From every throat of each man and woman the soldiers roared as they charged the keep, the sky darkened with arrows and catapulted boulders streaking towards its stone walls. The gates opened, and Xisa's forces poured out.

Ayalan folded his arms and walked out onto the field as he saw the many men charging; he gave sub orders: "Remember, the weak points are seen through observation, Split this division up left and right and devour the enemy in a pincer!" He was no fool, he had commanded like this before, as he ran to the front line; with the march of soldiers seemingly scared to go ahead as the impending forces came through, "Listen guys, I know." A few select looked up at him, "I know we're all in trouble here, and that it may seem hopeless, but if we play our cards right, hell, anyone can make an ace high into a royal flush." He laughed and stood in the line, "Let's push, and aid the two fronts, alright? If we can just get inside, the battle will be easier, this is the hard part, but I assure you, I'll help you along." Aya took up a Tower Shield to protect from Arrows, and started with this line, looking around for the other heroes, he was not the leader of this battle, but only of these three lines; he let his hands glow, readying spells as he marched forward, a spear in hand.
