Ludro was in Ketulunanox, with a part of dice in his hand. After the events in Ellison, Elexa ordered him to get Volk, and bring him back. He hunted him down, and figured that he was going to be in Ketulunanox. He looked around, and made sure that he was hidden.
"Where are you?" He asked himself, as he put the dice in his other hands.

Volk was walking down a trail with Vash, to some docks so he could find a boat to find Tidus. "So, what have you been doing since the city was destroyed?" he asked him as he looked at the large moon in the sky.

"Oh, not much. Wandering from place to place, really. Never was one for fighting, so I stayed out of most of the conflict. I hope I can stay that way, just observing."
He shrugged and played with the cross' strap for a moment.
"This is the first time I've been back to Ketulunalox since then. Pretty strange feeling, to be back home again... if I really ever had a home."

So, he with someone else..." He thought to himself, I just need one, the other one I can play a hand or two with him. He hopped out of the shrubs and stuck out his hand. Between three of his finger were dice. "I am here, to collect the Black Moon Warrior."

"Crap!" He said, as he pulled out his swords, "You are Elexa's bitch, Vaan or something like that, right? Well bring it on!" He started to absorb the moonlight.

"...No, oh Gods no, I am Ludro Gamblington, a captain." He said in awe He and I look nothing alike, I think he is drunk. He looked at him, and saw Volk had an aura around. "Crap!"
He snapped his fingers, and cards were shot out from his pocket. They then made a large 6 wall room. "This is my world, a world of games!" He said, "and I make the rules. No berserk modes, just plain melee, and magic attacks that is it." He then snapped his fingers once more, and hourglasses appeared over their heads. " Whoever runs out of time is the loser." He looked at them, "Simple enough?"

"Oh darnit. I'm going to lose, I know it," Vash moaned. He hated fighting and rarely fought. And without even the moon in the sky to help him, he didn't have a prayer. He had no choice.
"Sorry, Tamashi. I'm going to have o use you..."
He drew a revolver from inside his coat.

"YOU HAVE A GUN!?" Volk shouted, as he looked at Vash, then he looked at Ludro. "Look, I am not going there, so that is that." he then started to use his berserk mode, but the sand from his hourglass started to speed up, and Volk started to feel pain. "Wha-what is going on?" He asked.

"You are breaking the rules." Ludro said, " You will lose time faster that way. We all have one hour in our hourglass, you have lost 5 minutes already." He then threw his dice, and both of them had 6s up. "Looks like I got a boxcar!" he said as 12 shots were fired from the dice and 6 went to Volk and 6 went to Vash.

"DAMMIT!" Volk shouted as he raised his sword to block the attacks, and he blocked 5 of them, but the sixth one hit him in the back. He looked and more sand was shot down the hourglass, "How much time did I lose?" He then bolted at him with his swords at the ready.

"It is simple, really." He said as he hopped onto the wall. "When I do this game, I have to use my dice, or cards. For now,when I roll the dice, the combine total of the tops is how many shots I can fire from them. The damage is, what you were hit with. Since both top number was 6, each shot would make you lose 6 minutes. We have been in for 4 minutes and you have already lost a 1/4 of your time." He then block Volk's swords.
"But for you two, your time is 1 per hit" He said with a smile.

"Then I will need to do is hit you a bunch of times!" He said as he ran over and swung his sword down at him. "Die, you dark bastard!"

Ludro was hit, but it fell right into his plan. "F-fifty two pick-up!" He said as a bunch of his cards strike Volkmar's back. "Sorry, but this is for my queen." He said as he toss a die above Volk and it flashed. Volk was gone, but a large die with Volk's face was on it.
