Incendia Presul walked into the castle, somewhat nervous about this meeting. Since the war in Ignis had ended, her choices had been to either join Crepusculum to fight Trucido or to find another Sumata to work under. It had hardly been a decision more than a given that she had chosen not to join Crepusculum, considering her issues with them in the past. She had gone to Ketulunanox first, since it was closer, to see if Xisa would help her.

Xïsa was in his throne room, looking at the sky. The roof had been remove, so that he would be under the moonlight. It never storms up here, so weather was never an issue. A guard walked in and he was shaking. "K-ki-king Xïsa. Th-t..." He started to say, when he suddenly felt like his clothes was made out of steel, and it was going to crush him. "Do not waste my time with your stuttering. What is it?"He said with no emotion. "There is a Captain Incendia Presul from the former Ingis kingdom." He yelled in pain. Xïsa looked at him, then he hopped off of his high throne and landed in front of the guard. "Bring her in." He snapped his fingers, and his clothes were not heavy again. "Yes sir." He said as he hurried out of the room. "Please come on in, Ma'am."

Incendia walked into the throne room, even more nervous after hearing the guard yelling. She looked at Xisa for a moment, then looked down, not exactly sure if she should bow or something.

Xïsa looked at her, then he said "Is there a reason why you are here? . Speak now, or leave." He had other matter that he had to attend to, and this girl was in his way.

"If I had no reason to be here, would I?" She snapped, annoyed he would assume she was here to waste both of their time. She stopped herself before she said anything ruder, remembering that she was speaking to a Sumata. "I am here because I need to find someone else to work for. Since Onyx is no longer king, I see no reason to stay there and fight alongside the Crepusculum army."

"... How do I know that you will be an asset to my kingdom?" He asked her as he looked at her. "You were apart of an army that fell."

It was a good thing she was wearing a mask, so he could not see her glaring at him. "Simply because the army was incompetent does not mean that I am."

"... Not a bad answer." He said as he turned around, "Would you die for our cause?"

"Not unnecessarily. Though if dying is what I must do, then so be it." She said, trying to contain her impatience.

He looked at the moon, and then he pulled out his sword. "What about now?" He said as he pressed it against her neck. It made a small, thin cut on the side.

Enraged, Incendia stepped away, pulling out her own sword. It took a lot of restraint to stop herself from slashing at his own neck in response. "Was that completely necessary?" she said, trying to control herself again, knowing in a fight against him she would lose.

"Yes." He said as he put his sword away. "This proves that you are not afraid to fight someone that is stronger than you. I do not want someone that cowards away from me. That is why Grim is my captain. He tries so hard to rule my kingdom." He looked at the moon again, and said "We have roughly 15,000 soldiers here. I want you to inspect them with Grim."

Incendia said nothing for a while, still fairly pissed off. After a few moments she put her sword away as well. "Fine." she said as she turned to leave, somewhat glad that he knew she was not a coward, but still not happy he had cut her. It brought back a few too many bad memories...
