Hey, everyone! I've been busy with my Art 230 class and remembered that I've never shared with anyone here any of the non-cartoon art I've done.
We've been drawing nude models in class recently, and the piece I did just last Wednesday covers the model enough that it's a-ok-appropriate to share with everyone here!
Took the picture with my cell phone, so the image is not as fine as it could be, but there it is.
Done in 1:1 ratio on a piece of Stonehenge paper (D: I wanted Arches...) with black conte, which I've grown to like despite it being an annoying piece of crap.
I'd usually be in class right now but today it was CANCELLED AT THE LAST MOMENT ARRASGLKJSDGKASJD;GKASJDF I DROVE ACROSS THE CITY TO GET HERE. **RAGE**
I've got a BIG project coming up soon due on April 8th. Arches paper, pencil ranges from 2B - 4H, 1:1 ratio. We take a portrait that one of the "old masters" did and draw it, except we incorporate our face into the subject's head.
It'll be epic.
Running away now, I have a phone call D: I'm afraid it's me mum...
