Vincent broke the water's surface, pulling Jasmine back into the fresh air. While the battle went on on the ships, a couple of the men Vincent had been travelling with brought a little rowboat out to where he and Jasmine were. He helped pull them both into the boat where Vincent immediately turned his attention to his daughter, tending to her to help get the water out of her system.
"What's going on? I need to get back to Xisa if that old woman's still out on there," Vincent told the man, then pointed to Jasmine, "oh, and if you if you do anything to her, I'll kill you."

"A WALL?" He yelled at her. "LET ME TO TRY TO BRING THIS WALL DOWN!" He raised his sword and there was an blue-ish arua around the top. He swung it down at the wall, while he roar.

"The wall cannot fall to the likes of you, it does as I command it," Annabelle grinned, chuckling and throwing her hand palm facing Xisa, her fireball spell shooting straight for his face.

Jasmine coughed and sputtered, having recovered rather quickly. She had taken up a lot of her built-up prayer power to keep herself from drowning to death. This displeased her greatly, she had been storing and saving all of it up in case Andy really needed her...
She shivered, however unsure if it was from the cold (being now soaking wet and out in the middle of the night) or from the disheartening thought in her head that Andy may never need her.
"Papa..." she spoke out, trying to push all of the unpleasant thoughts from her head. She curled up close to him, despite him being so wet himself he was really warm...it felt comforting.

Xïsa was hit in the face with the fireball. He looked at her, and ran towards her, and grabs her throat and jumped off of the boat, on to an island. He slammed her on the ground, like a rag doll. He stood up and swung his sword down.

Vincent looked down at Jasmine and smiled as she got closer to him. The last time she'd done anything like that was when...well, before he left home the first time. He ran his fingers through her hair and leaned in to kiss her forehead.
"Sweetie, I have to go back to get your grandma. You go with Ralph here and he'll take you back to the shore where it's safer, I'll be back in a few minutes," Vincent told her soothingly as he went to lift Jasmine from his side. The man rowing the boat looked at Vincent and frowned, looking completely offended.
"My name is Skylar, sir," he said and Vincent waved his hand dismissively before falling back into the water and swimming back out towards the ship...until he saw the big blue, furry thing take the old woman onto an island.
...well, at least Vincent had a good swimming practice.

Annabelle choked as Xisa grabbed her throat and landed on the island. She hit the ground hard...quite hard, she knew she felt something crack in her back. Despite the excruciating pain (how did she manage to do this when she was younger?) she threw a shaking, withering hand forth and said, "Shikeru!"
It really didn't do anything besides blast the entire area with a blinding bright light. She'd hope he'd miss as he brought his sword down; she threw herself with the depleting strength she had and let out a cry as the sword missed its fatal strike, but still tore through a chunk of flesh on her arm.
"Jeilzu na..." she chanted as she tried to roll away yet, blood pouring all over the dirt of the island, "Jeilzu na hima shikeru...me lei ze..."
She continued to chant to herself, and as she did a strange ruin began to imprint itself in the dirt, beginning to glow. As she finished her spell the symbol that embedded itself into the ground shined brightly and erupted into a deadly cylinder of fire that engulfed nearly the entire island that she and Xisa were on.

Xïsa hopped away from the island in the nick of time. Xïsa looked around on the new island, for Annabelle. He was growling, as he chopped down the trees.

Annabelle cursed silently as she struggled to get up. Now was the time she wished she'd had her staff--of course, she never once planned for this whole situation to turn out like...well, this.
She kept moving as Xisa started hacking down trees and looked upwards. There were fair enough amount of clouds in the sky that she chanted to herself another small spell that produced a white line of lightning to strike down from the dark clouds above at Xisa.

Xïsa was hit with the lightning bolt, but he stood up and chuck the sword at Annabelle. It caught her in the cloak and pinned her against the tree. "I AM SURPRISE, THAT YOUR SPELLS ARE THIS WEAK!" he yelled as he walked over to her, and he pulled the sword out.

Annabelle growled as she started chanting to herself again, louder as she was pinned against the tree. The same symbol from before showed up in the ground of the island and the fiery cylinder exploded all over the island.

Vincent managed to track down the island and hit the shore of it, sword in hand. He saw Xisa pinning Annabelle to the tree, and as the giant blue monster pulled his sword out Vincent charged straight for him. He flipped his sword, a burning spell powering up within it and made for a direct stab at the man's back in his upper chest area.

Xïsa raised his sword to hit Annabelle, but he accidently block Vincent. He turned around and saw Vincent. Without a word, he grab Vincent's sword and threw him away. He return his attention to Annabelle. The last blast made him to lose her, he closed his eyes and started to listen. He heard something to his left, and he then started to slam his sword on the ground repeatably, making blue blast every time he slams his sword.

Annabelle hobbled, trying to avoid being blasted apart by Xisa's attacks. She called on the help of the spirit she had earlier, pulling out the two transluscent blades again and sprang forth at Xisa with caution, however attacking at him as mercilessly as she could in her physical condition.

Vincent flew backwards, trying to make his fall as comfortable as he could (which was very uncomfortable, really) and rolled off to the side. In one smooth motion he was back on his feet and prepared his sword again, also avoiding the attacks from Xisa.
He took his sword and stabbed it into the ground, the dirt shifting slightly, rippling out towards the beast that was Xisa. It exploded into a fiery bubble, engulfing him. Vincent ripped his sword out and charged at Xisa again, slashing at him as he got close.
"Annabelle, we have to get out of here!" he yelled to the old woman.
