Volk sat down on an little island after a week or so after he escaped from Dark-Soul Castle. He had ran to Ketulunanox to look for his friend Tidus, and his fellow Lunatopian Vash. He sat down and finished cooking a rabbit. He looked at a weird sword that he had found while running away.
"I wonder if..." He started to ponder.

"Why does everything look the same?!" Tidus roared, running around the area. Figuring Volkmar would return to Ketulunanox he searched for him for awhile now. Except he couldn't see to find him. "Ugh what do I have to do, trip over hi-wargh!"
He tripped over a rock and toppled over the ledge, falling down he landed in front of a small campfire with Volkmar there.
...Well he found him.

"AUGH!" Volk shouted as the sword was fling out of his hands. He looked, and then he sighed. "Tidus, you were THIS CLOSE of dying." He said to him.

And, suddenly, a different blonde came toppling over the same ridge, falling on top of Tidus.
"Owch! Uh.... eheh, sorry, guys, I saw Tidus and was running to catch up with him, but I fell right over tis ledge!" He looked amused, yet sheepish.

"Hey Vol-URK!" he yelled out as Vash fell on him, growling he stood up. Shoving him off him. "Gah I was hoping I'd lost you..."

"Oh, I'm doing okay. Been wanderign around since you left, trying to find you." He got up off of Tidus and brushed off his long, red coat. "And finally, I found you! How's that for amazing?"

"I don't really know if that goes into amazing, but you can do whatever you want." He said, as he scooted a little away from him. "Tidus, what have you been up to, since my... departure?"
