Tempest stopped at the table. He felt eyes on him and looked up to see Kaku looking at him. His face grew even hotter that he could swear that his face was on fire."D-d-d-did y-you see that?" Not waiting for an answer, he picked up a cup and literally overflowed it with the punch.

Caramel grinned. "I'm from a Realm known as Mageia." She answered. "I'm not from around here..."
Kaku blinked. As he spoke, his British accent became apparent. "Whoa! I say! Calm down, boy! Did I see what now?" He asked. "The only thing I see is that something has got you in a bit of a fluster. May I ask as to why that is?"

"E-embarrassed. Y-your cousin, I think she pulled a prank on me." Tempest seemed more in control than he had been a minute ago. He decided to tell Kaku what fully happened. "I... asked her to dance," he said, feeling his face grow hot again, "and she said yes but she also said that she hadn't danced in 60... or was it 50... years." Tempest took another swig of the punch, then continued. "Then we exchanged some words, and I think I accidental called her old, but I can't be sure."

Trucido sat there, and he tapped his foot to the music, when one of his servants walked up to him with a scroll in his hand. Trucido opened in and started to read it, then he smiled after he was done. He then looked at the tables of royals, and he then said, "My Sumatas, I have some wonderful news. We are 99% ready to complete our final leg of our mission. So if you will, please don't go be traveling off somewhere else, and stay home in your castle. I will have a messenger bird come and retrieve you when I have completed. Now, I feel famish. Ta-ta." Trucido stood up, kissed Lilith's hand, and walked away. His face had a devilish grin on it, as he slid away.

(( I still like my idea, Volk~ Though I've watered mine down a lot. A LOT.)) In the distance a soft rumbling came, however unheard by the people celebrating at the ball. Everyone was too busy dancing, laughing, chatting and being overly merry to even know what was heading their way. You know, until a loud CRASH was heard and a massive meteoroid (meteorite at this stage, rather) fell through the roof, totally annihilating the buffet table. The band paused, staring at the strange glowing, burning rock in front of everyone. Those who weren't crushed were confused, scared, or already running out the door. At the back of the room Jasmine stared with wide eyes, all the while her grandmother cackled insanely beside her. "Now THIS is a party!" she howled, then quickly lowered her voice and grabbed Jasmine's arm, "seriously, I don't know what that thing is, let's get the hell out of here."

Tempest acted instinctivly as he heard the metorite crahsing through the roof. He lunged himself at Kaku, hurling himself and the cat-like creature away from the table as it was smashed right behind him. Tiny splinters flew, going through Tempest's robe, and stopping in his back. As they hit the floor, Tempest made them roll a bit to the left, still away from the now crushed table. He winced as he sat up, his back on fire. He looked at Kaku, seeing if he was ok. Still, he had to ask. "Hey, you ok?"

As the ballroom filled with the sounds of panic and alarm, Queen Lunestice took her chance to slip past the guards, all of whom were too busy staring wide eyed at the destruction in front of them. Under the long and flowing pleats of her gown she seemed to glide seamlessly through the crowd, her eyes scanning the passersby with a look of restrained disdain till she reached the ballroom itself.
Seeing the orb of stone imbedded in the buffet she laughed out loud to herself. "My my, I'm surprised. The entire table of ice cream obliterated and Trucido nowhere near it? I just can't catch a break." She said sardonically, moving to the centre of the ballroom. Hmph, bad luck indeed. And to think I spent the better part of an evening conjuring that to take out at least one of the Sumata.
"Now I'm going to ask this only once; which of you pathetic royal worms thought you could sneak into my kingdom with me knowing any better hmm? TRUCIDO! Get your useless commoner hide out here!" She shouted out over the commotion, as she watched to see where, if anywhere, the dark leader of the Sumata would emerge from.

"Ugh, if it isn't dear Milicia." Trucido said as he walked out. He walked in front of her. "Like making a grand entrance?"

The hell...? *Mark thought to himself as chaos unfolded in the ball room, was this some plan Trucido had? Not waiting for an answer his blades summoned into his hand waiting for any of the Sumata to jump out and attack.*

Ayalan shook his head, as he quickly backed off behind pillars of a nearby area, and slowly unbuttoned his jacket, a lighter but still useful armor was there, and he looked down at his sides: only a cutlass to use as a weapon.
He cursed himself for his lack of insight, and stepped out, with cutlass in hand, aiming it at Milicia and Trucido's general direction. Any party goers near him had assumed to back up behind his own personage.
Aya then muttered, "What now..?" He saw that Milicia didn't much like Trucido either, but his own objective was impeded in the same respect. This was a day of peace. So the arena looked pretty much in a form of stiffened and fearful chaos.

"That's Queen Lunestise to you, you arrogant commoner!" Despite her shorter frame she stood tall against the raven haired villain. Her fierce snarl faded with her curt words as she spoke in her usual regal tone. "And my entrance was nothing less than what a woman of my standing should have. All it was missing was a red carpet, but we can fix that in a jiffy, can't we?"
Queen Lunestise's hands shook by her sides as the arcane forces she summoned gathered in her palms, caged in her grasp by a mere whim. "Now that I have you my dear Trucido, why don't you tell me what you had your filthy cohorts doing within my borders? Last time I checked your kind was not welcome in Crepusculum."

"Ok, Queen Lunestise. I want to know what you are talking about? Filthy cohorts, do you mean Vuotoians? I am sorry, but I do not regulate on where the Vuotoians go. I am just a lord of the Vuoto kingdom. Now, I think a good queen would not strike a kingdom, unless they are at war." Trucido said. He then called for Zelos, "Zelos, did you declare war on Crepusculum?"

With a haughty sneer Queen Lunestise sauntered up to Trucido till their bodies were but mere inches away. "Good? Bad? I'm just a woman trying to get some answers." In a graceful flourish her hands glided up to Trucido's torso before shoving outwards. The torrent of magic built up in her hands twisted into a billowing flame before firing out at him point blank.
"Now, why don't you cut the stupid act and tell me what you had your royal lackeys doing in my kingdom? I won't ask again." Pulling back her hands she weaved them through the air, spinning away from Trucido as the flames licked the air like ribbons, at last forming a suspended pair of flame whips in her hands.

Trucido was shoved back from fire attack, and he stood there, and he wiped his chest, removing most of the soot off of his chest. "That wasn't very nice... Darkra." He said, as a pillar of darkness escaped from his fingertips and was sent towards Milicia.

"Oh well," her body reeled back, pulling the flaming whips up and around before gliding away from the dark energy. "I was kind of hoping you'd be difficult anyways. Let's dance." In a series of sharp motions Queen Lunestise lashed out with the flame whips, each one cracking in a burst of embers upon striking a surface.
"It's been too long since we've done battle Trucido. You like to play favourites with my weaker side don't you? Well I think it's about time you were reminded of why my people still stand after opposing you all these years." Flicking her wrists a blue glow of energy coursed through the whips, leaving the tip humming with a softer energy. As she wound up and struck out at Trucido, the very ends of her weapons laid waiting to freeze the first thing they struck against.
