[Alainya Igniatus]

Alainya was glad that the shield was up, it gave her enough time to rest for a while, and by the time the shield died down, she was more than ready for whatever was left for her to face, which, luckily, was only a small handful. She felt kind of concerned for Jasmine after the shield died down, because she fell to her knees, and Alainya wondered if whatever she did tired her out. But right now wasn't the time for that, they were still in danger, and she had to be ready until they were safe again.

When one of the creatures came close, Alainya smashed the hilt of her sword as hard as she could into the thing's face. She knew what the creature's weak spot was now, so fighting them was much easier. She took out two more by slashing at them, though they were only temporarily out.

A fourth one had come closer, and Alainya stabbed it in the gut, twisting the sword as she pulled it out in an effort to do more damage, and luckily, that was enough to kill it. The two that Alainya had knocked down before were back up and running again, they charged at Alainya, screaming and swinging the claws everywhere. Alainya went and sliced the first one down, but didn't move fast enough to take down the second one before it's claw caught onto Alainya's right shoulder. She gritted her teeth as the creature's claw went through her muscle and flesh like it was nothing, and went to strike again, but Alainya managed to slash it's head off, stopping it in it's tracks, even though moving her right arm caused a right good amount of pain.

After a quick glance around to make sure that there were no more enemies, Alainya lowered her sword and took in a deep breath. The cool air filled her lungs, and she felt refreshed, even though her shoulder was stinging from the cool touch of the air as well.

"Well... that was... interesting," she said, then gritted her teeth as shot through her arm while she sheathed her sword since the battle was finished.

Jasmine sat on her knees yet, huddled over herself. She looked around and up at Alainya as the last of the creatures died. Slowly calming down (though a little unnerved with all of the bodies laying scattered about) she got back to her feet and immediately noticed Alainya's injury. She bit her lip and walked closer in order to examine it.

"A-are you okay? Where does it all hurt?" she asked worriedly.

Alainya grabbed her shoulder, and felt around. Even though it hurt quite a bit, it wasn't as bad as she thought it was. When Jasmine asked her if she was okay, Alainya gave her a smile.

You could tell by the tone of Jasmine's voice that she was worried. "Yeah, I'm fine, and it's only my shoulder," she answered. "It's not that bad, really." She said reassuringly, and rolled her shoulder. It did hurt, but it wasn't a bad injury at all.

"Are you okay? After all, I think it would be worse if you got hurt, since you're the healer and all," she joked, though it wasn't a really good time for it.

Jasmine shook her head as she answered, "If I am hurting, I am more than capable of taking care of myself. Unless of course I'm on the verge of death, then it's a little hard...but it's okay, because I have my gods looking out for me. That shouldn't happen."

Surprisingly, she seemed to be a little bit more cheerful despite the morbid joke and situation in general. She gave Alainya a cautious look before she forced a hand on Alainya's shoulder and examined the wound.

"It isn't that bad, no," Jasmine spoke as she dug in her bag and pulled a few trinkets and bottles out, "but it's enough that if you don't clean it properly, you could very well become infected or poisoned. I don't use magic usually to heal, I use herbs and medicines that my family creates ourselves--natural healing. Magic is usually used to patch up the skin, and for more severe cases like near-death. What I'm trying to say here is is that this will sting for only a moment."

And without a moment's hesitation, Jasmine poured a bottle with a clear, strong-smelling liquid onto Alainya's shoulder right into the wound. From there, she took her finger and ran it along the shoulder, the skin seemingly stitching itself together instantly.

"That's a good point," Alainya said, chuckling a little. Now that they were out of danger temporarily, everything seemed more happier, cheerful, and Alainya also noticed that Jasmine seemed to cheer up slightly as well, which was good considering her hysterical state during the battle.

Alainya waited quietly for Jasmine, and watched her heal her wound. "That's some pretty impressive medicine," she said, as she watched the skin stitch itself together. Alainya didn't know who Jasmine's mother was or how much time she had been healing, but that was really impressive to her.

After the healing was finished, Alainya smiled, "Much due thanks, you are definately most helpful," she said, then looked around, "If you didn't make that shield, we most likely would have lost," she said, chuckling a little, even though she knew she basically just said, 'if you didn't do that we would have been owned,' but either way, she was most grateful Jasmine was there at that time.
