Lana shrugged. "I was trained to take on anything that comes my way, and if I kill them before they kill me, then I'm skilled. Or at least I live a little longer. If they kill me first, well..."
She laughed as she slumped back into her chair, cupping her glass close to her. "You know there's not a soul alive that'll stand between me, you, and our rum. However, joking aside, I know that that guy really had me. Call me as great as a captain as you want, but we can't hide the fact that if things hadn't gone the way they had, I really wouldn't be here right now."
She took a huge swig of her rum. Even though it still had a sip or so left in it, she clanked the glass down and called for another round. Lana reached into her pocket and dug out a few coins that she tossed onto the table.

Lana laughed and took the coins back. "You really haven't changed, have you?" she finished off one and started round two.
She loved rum. Felt so good, had a taste that made lots of women cringe but made her smile. Easy to go down, yet too much made her do stupid things.
In a way, she kind of wanted to do something stupid tonight. But she'd wait to see how Ludro was going to take the night--they hadn't seen each other in awhile, and both really needed the break. She'd keep drinking until he said she'd had too much, then.
"SO...we're short two more doctors at the castle, you know," she chuckled.

Lana snorted. "Ha. Let's just say Xisa decided to show me a magic trick, and would have used me if I didn't find a more despensible individual for the demonstration." She continued to drink a ton more herself, looking down in her glass and she said, "You know...yeah, the rum here is very good. How'd ya find this place, anyway?"
She ordered another round, and then another...and then started thinking she should pull her money back out again. Ludro was an awesome guy, but she couldn't expect him to pay that much.
And at some point she shook her head and glared at the table and said loudly, "I missed you. Zelos and Xisa are a bunch of jerks."

"Why in the hell was Xïsa there?" Ludro said "And more importantly, Why are you hanging around those Dumb asses?" He finished the rum bottle he got, and order another one.

Lana snapped her fingers for another round...whichever number she was at now, anyway. She gave Ludro a shrug and shook her head.
"I don't bloody know. I had gotten my butt wasted entirely while in Ignis, was in the castle getting whatever fixed up, and Xisa was there for whatever the hell reason. I don't know why. Asked me how the mission went--I was in Santo-Luce before then. Xisa and Zelos were both there--again, I don't know why--Zelos sent me to Ignis to kick the crap out of that kid and his two girlfriends...that little jerk..."
She couldn't help but snigger at the "two girlfriends" part. Man, she should have said that back during their fight just to see how that kid would have reacted to it.

"Hey, how about we look for him, and then we can find that bastard, what do ya say?" He asked with a slur. This was the rum talking, but he liked it when there was a job that something else could do for him.

It took a few moments for this idea to process in Lana's brain. She raised an eyebrow at Ludro, and was silent for another long moment before she grinned. She then grabbed her glass, chugged the rum that was in it, and slammed it down on the table.
"BARTENDER! Two more--then we gotta...JOB...to do..." It took Lana another moment to actually figure out what she wanted to say and how to say it, "...Yeah. Ludro, let's go get 'im. Teach that...jerk a lesson..."
She giggled. Lana never giggled.

"Alright" he said as the rum was pour. He chugged the drink, put the gold on the table, and then he walked out of the bar and said "Time to find the JERK!" he ran to road that lead to Ingus.

"YES!" Lana finished her drink, leaped out of her chair and knocked it and two people over, and then ran out the door after Ludro.
"I love you, man!!" she yelled as they ran off into the still young night.
