On a high building top, a boy was jolting down notes about the city, and he sent his report to Santo-Luce. After that, he then started, he then started to do his second favorite hobby, people watching. Everyone was walking, or talking. Ramirez watch as a balding man, talked with a woman. He was a bit thinner than the average man, but the woman made him look like a child. She was taller than the man by at least a foot. Ramirez took interest in them because of the man's blue shirt. He watched as they talked, and then Ramirez said to himself, "She is pregnant." A few second later, the woman said something and the man's eyes widen. He smiled and kiss the woman. He then started to rub her stomach. "YES!" He said as he started to get up, and walk down. When he got down, he sat in at an empty table, to watch people in the bar.

Jasmine wandered down the street, completely lost. Great. The last place in the world she wanted to be lost and here she was.
"Andy! Papa!" she called out, keeping an eye out for either man. Between calling out for them she begrudgingly also called out from time to time, "...grandmother?"
She didn't step into the bar at all, but she did stop in front of it. Jasmine looked up at the building and then around at her surroundings and frowned. She was uncomfortable and people down the street were beginning to watch her; that was a bad sign. She didn't want to give the impression that she was weak or alone but this place was really testing her nerves.

Ramirez watched as a pickpocketing man strolled out of the bar with a dozen or so gold coins. He then notice a woman in purple, because she looked hysterical. "She could be fun to follow and watch." He said as he got up and started to follow her.

Jasmine saw Ramirez come out of the bar but thought nothing of it. She closed her eyes and tried to visualize the last time she'd seen any of her friends or family - Annabelle was easy to lose, she could have gone anywhere. Vincent might have dropped his attention because he was positive Andy would have been looking out for Jasmine.
And Andy would have ended up distracted if he found someone to argue or fight with...which tended to happen a lot at these festivals.
"Andy and I were passing some booths through a crowd of people...I stayed where I was until they started wheeling in carts full of things through..."
She was muttering quietly to herself, opening her eyes to fix her gaze on the road from which she'd just come from. It looked like she was going to have to go back.
"Andy! Papa? Where did you go!?" Jasmine called out again as she turned around and started walking back down the road. She'd glance back now and then, seeing the boy going down the same street as her. Again, nothing to really note.
Jasmine turned to the right down another main road, trying to find her way back to the festivals.

"So, it seems that she is lost. Papa is easy to figure out, but Andy... Who is Andy? I must find out!" He said to himself, as he continued to follow her. Maybe if I can guide her to the festival, then maybe I can figure who Andy is. He still followed her, making sure to hide himself if the need arises.

Jasmine couldn't quite put her finger on it, nor could she prove it but as she moved it seemed like something was watching her. She stopped where she was and glanced back, not seeing anything.
This place was spooking her more and more, she was getting too paranoid. Whatever people who were around gave her funny looks, some of them smirked - she clearly was showing her discomfort which was very, very bad for the young lady to do. She was always told to never "look like a victim" afterall.
Jasmine moved down another street, her paranoia getting the better of her. She tried to control her breathing and keep herself calm; she turned the corner once more and went straight into an alleyway, breaking out into a fully terrified run.

"Hmm, she is trying to hide. This makes the chase less fun..." He said to himself, then he notice that she dropped something, a book. "Ma'am, you dropped this!" He said as he ran after her.

Jasmine hugged a wall in the alley, keeping quiet and hoping she wasn't spotted. She barely saw the figure of the guy who'd followed her, he looked like the same one that'd come out of the bar earlier...
She wasn't going to say anything, her first thought was that he was lying to lure her out. However when she looked in her bag it was true that her spellbook was missing, and she really needed that. Jasmine bit her lip and looked at the boy's back, slowly stepping out.
"...Hello?" she spoke quietly from behind him.

"Aha!" Ramirez said as he turned around, " You need to keep a closer eye on books. They are precious materials." He told her. He really seem mad about her the losing the book. "You are nothing like I have observed."

Jasmine blinked.
"I...agree. That one is actually quite important to me," she answered slowly, "...what do you mean by 'observed'?"
It couldn't hurt to ask...yet somehow she was afraid to find out anyway.

"...Crap." He said, "Well, there is no point of hiding it. I like to people watch, and you stuck out from everyone else. I have ruined it now, because it is never good for the subject to know they are being studied."

Ramirez's answer didn't help. At all. Jasmine's eye twitched as she took a step back.
"W-wait...so you're stalking me?!"

"No, no. Stalking is more violent and personal. This is more of observing, like if you were watching a bird or something like that. It is the enjoyment of watching something acting in nature. You just stuck out like a red flower in the middle of a grassfield." Ramirez told her.

Alright, slightly relieving. Jasmine's shoulders fell which showed that, and she sighed as she tilted her head to the side in confusion.
"Is that so? And just what is there about me that makes me stand out so easily from other people?" she asked, now finding herself still cautious, but a little more curious now.

"Well, you seem to have... an aura." He said, " Everyone else is bland. You and some other people have an aura, and I am trying to figure out why some have an aura, and a lot of others that don't."
