The Black Rose Festival (Open)

[Seigmand Dezmar]

"Hmm, most intriguing." Seigmand dug into his pack and pulled out his small compendium, making small notes as he talked, his eyes moving back and forth between it and Kaku. "Well it is a pleasure to meet you Kaku. I admit you and your friends intrigue me quite a bit. You say you come from another realm? I wonder if you're a chosen being too." Seigmand chuckled at the prospect. The idea of more heroes amused him, and anyone who could stand up to the Sumata was a welcomed gift in his eyes.

"Please Kaku, I would very much like to continue our discussion. Would you care to share a drink with me? I'm sure you have so many questions about our world. And I'd love to pick your brain, if you have the time." He said as he returned the smile. He liked the idea of making any new allies or friends if he could, but having Jasmine so close was a liability he couldn't afford, now more so than ever.

[Vaan Seraph]

Vaan smiled at Faey. "Would you like to try that? It looks fun." He pointed at the game she seemed to be interested in.

[Julie Clementae]

Faey grinned and kissed his cheek. "Glad to see you caughht up, finally." She turned her attention to the game again. "It looks a lot like basketball... If the rules are the same then I'm pretty sure I can kick butt at this game." Once again she grinned, this time it was more cocky than teasing.

[Grim Dagger]

Grim arrived at that party, sighing he fixed his jacket as he looked around. Since Xisa had a 'sick day' Grim had to go to the party instead of him and he was happy about it to till Xisa had said 'don't kill anyone', SO WHAT WAS HE SUPPOSED TO DO NOW!?

"Hello," he said to many people walking by, he smiled to try to be friendly but really it came out cold and grim looking, "...I wonder if Nero is here...?"

"You, too?" Jasmine sighed as she turned her attention to Gouji, "perhaps we should make our 'great escape' before they decide to pull a prank on both of us, Mr....I apologize, I don't think I got your name. I am Jasmine Loque, a healer from Crepusculum."

[Maliciferum]

Malice snapped back into the real world after realizing that someone had spoken to him. "Oh, damn." he said walking over to Siegmand. "Please forgive my silence, I sometimes manage to get lost in my own mind." Malice said apologetically.

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

(No Jess, you're correct ;D Sorry if I confused ya!)

Gouji grinned nervously. "Haha... I'm sorry about that...I'm Goujile Jaron Rokkakyu. Or... Gouji as everyone else calls me." He rubbed the back of his neck. "And...its nice to meet you Jasmine." He smiled. "I'm all for escaping...but where to?"

Kaku raised an eyebrow. "A Chosen being?" He questioned. Seigmand's words made him curious, and his note taking made Kaku suspicious, but he figured there was no harm in a simple chat. "I'll certainly take you up on that offer." He bowed slightly. "As I'm sure you've got as many questions as I have." With that, he waited for Seigmand to lead the way.

[A.B.A.]

"It was... good to speak with you Vash. May our paths cross again." A.B.A. waved goodbye to the strange young man, and staring back at the black roses she couldn't help think on his words.

"Why would the dead be lonely? The living only dwindle with time, while the world of spirits can't help but grow. I wonder if sending those two to their death would be too kind to them." She grumbled. As the growing pitch black of the roses grew on the ground beside A.B.A. it caught her eyes. Like an owl seizing its prey she pounced on it and inspected it closer. The feel, the color and scent were all too similar. Unsure of what exactly Vash had done with that little coin, and even if he'd done it intentionally she had to know. Setting it delicately in her hair she took off to the streets.

"Vash! Vash where'd you go?" She cried out as she searched the festival for him, realizing fast her day was growing more and more into nothing but a day of plentiful questions.

Ayalan looked aside as Nia was taken away, he was about to protest but put on a smile, "Ahm!..Ah..okay then.."

Thus..he was alone. Amongst many a people, he felt strangely out of place, his mind wandered here and there, and he looked at the carnival games, before he figured to just start walking through the crowds, slowly. He would know where Nia was just by sense and the fact that there weren't SO many people.

He walked..and walked. He was near the end of the line of games, and amusement, just in deep thought to himself. He then sat down, and sighed, on a makeshift bench of sorts.

[Mark Angelus Fri]

Mark: Tired? *Mark asked twirling in his hand one of the Black Roses, he was sitting on the same bench Aya had sat on.* Parties like this always make me tired.

[Nero Whitemarrow]

"Grim." Nero appeared, raising his eye at the blue haired Sumata Captain. "Why are you here...you're not allowed to kill anyone you know."

[Andy Jammer]

"Jas!" Andy called out, scratching the back of his head as he approached Jasmine. "What are we doing here? Why Guasto?"

[Seigmand Dezmar]

Hmm, so he has yet to meet Profeta then? Or perhaps there is more to this. Seigmand took note of Kaku's words as he gestured towards a series of small shops set up. "Of course, wonderful. We can speak more shortly. I managed to find a place that sells a good ale. I uh, wouldn't risk the food if you can avoid it though." He chuckled as he led Kaku.

Halfway there he took note of the same strange young man(woman? he was still unsure.) that he encountered by the roses. Seeing him snap out of whatever had him so preoccupied Seigmand waved his hand as if brushing aside any hard feeling Malice might have thought he had. "Do not worry, they are a curious item aren't they though? They weigh heavy on the mind." He gave a friendly nod before moving down further to the bar stall he'd come from not too long ago.

"Please Kaku, sit. Order whatever you'd like. The first one's on me." His welcoming smile and gestures were all so he could hold the strange being's attention. What had been only a mere wish to slake his curiosity now had him brimming with more than ever. With a quick order he had a drink of his own in his hands, and sipped leisurely as his eyes glanced around to see if any of the Sumata were watching.

"Perhaps it would be best if I start. You seemed puzzled by my mention of the chosen beings. Have you met a woman by the name of Profeta, or has anyone approached you concerning a matter of the Sumata, or a man called Trucido since you coming here?" He leaned in close to whisper, pushing his compendium to the side as he focused solely on Kaku.

[Grim Dagger]

"That's not true," Grim turned to Nero, "Xisa said nothing about killing this little chocolate bunny." He started to act like it was moving he also voiced it too, "'Oh what a great day, I think I'll go get the-, wait, what is that sound!? IT'S GRIM, RUNNNNNNN!!!" Grim then grabbed it and split it in half.

"HAHAHAHAHAH! I am... okay this isn't that fun," Grim sighed slumping into his chair eating the bunny. Then his eyes caught something and at first he didn't believe it, it was Jasmine...! With that stupid kid behind her, "Would you look at that, Nero he can't take the fact that she and I are dating. Come on man, let's take care of this punk."

"Um...where to is right," Jasmine blinked as she answered Gouji, glancing around--Andy approached her in the middle of this and for a few moments she found herself distracted by him, too.

"I'm not really a fan of being here right now, either," Jasmine giggled as she answered Andy, "it's Guasto, I'm quite afraid of zombies coming to get me. Grandmother says that participation in this though is very essential to my own training though, an opportunity to absorb energy and make acquaintances with spirits that'll help me--"

As Jasmine spoke, she saw blur of blue moving around somewhere behind Andy. She broke off her sentence then entirely as she realized it was Grim watching them. She hadn't seen him since the Earth expedition...she really did hope he wasn't going to be a problem and that he had long forgotten his infatuation with her. He didn't appear to be happy (but neither did he when she last saw him). Her eyes trailed to Andy, then. What happened if Grim hadn't gotten over it, would Andy believe any of it?

Jasmine found herself staring in Grim's direction then, frantically preparing a plan for a "what if" scenario. She had an idea, luckily...and once she did she shook her head and directed her attention back to Andy and Gouji with a big smile.
