-Ability: As the ancestral weapon of Nerezza, Umbrae does several interesting things, including manipulate shadows into concealing the wielder... or itself. It also has deception magic, an important thing in the workings of the Nerezzan court.
Combat: Elexa fights with Umbrae first and foremost, and has been described as a rather dirty fighter. She uses her vampiric abilities to confuse the enemy and strike from the best possible position; she likes to taunt her opponent and uses their fears and weaknesses against them.
Magic: As a vampire, Elexa has all the abilities associated with that race, but she adds to it an ability to finely manipulate shadows and cast illusions through Umbrae.
Flaws: Elexa's manipulative actions have earned her many enemies and damagd her ability to gain new friends; her reputation means that most distrust her, if not actually disliking her.
History: As the ruler of Nerezza, Elexa loves shadows and darkness and has spent much time with them as a child. She was raised by her parents, the royal family, in all manners courtly and fine. She was taught to be regal as befits her station and she almost never abandons her stately demeanor. Her father instructed her in the ancient Nerezzan scythe art and her mother taught her stealth. Her upbringing was normal in every other way, befitting a woman of standing. Her age is unknown.
She seems to have become quite attached to the Lord Zelos Shinigami of Guasto, who most recently discovered her family's oldest secret - not only is she the Queen of Nerezza, but she is the most powerful vampire alive - head of the vampires' Royal Bloodline.
During the SUmata War, she revealed that she was opposed to Trucido Damnedblood and became the leader of her own branch of the rebellion - the Sumata Secessionists, which consisted of herself and Zelos, although she considered Seigmand and, later, Alexander, one of them as well when she learned of their betrayals, despite the fact that she never commanded them or formally allied with them.
Since the end of the War, she has been rebuilding alliances throughout the world with the help of the Messenger, Vaan Seraph. Nerezza has begun to prosper once again, and Elexa sits on her throne, awaiting the next move in the chess game of life.
