((This post is for Zeke, Donovan, Mataichi and Kouji if he wants to join. If you think your presence will enhance this post, send me a PM before joining in.))
Donovan was wounded, sore and desperately needed to rest after their encounter with Chika. Aside from that, he and the crew also needed supplies before they would dare endeavor to reach Ignis and thought it best to stop in Phasmatis before they continued their journey. The town was a sight to behold and not necessarily a pleasant one. The spirits of the dead floating around made him moderately nervous and at the same time a little at home, as in all reality, he was kin to the will-o-wisps that softly floated about.
Looking at Zeke, he gave him a little nudge and said, "We should probably hit up an Inn. I don't know about you, but a decent meal and a good sleep would do wonders for me about now."

Zeke agreed, his joints were worn out and his feet ached from trudging across the endless barrens of death. Despite a few initial attempts to chat up the citizens, ghostly in nature or not, he found that most people either made no attempt to talk with him or had nothing nice to say.
"So Don, what are going to do? We couldn't even beat that one lady, and as far as we know she wasn't even one of the royals here in this world. Man I though the Noise was tough but these people are way strong." Zeke sighed, showing a little depression at their lose at the Guasto woman's hands.

Dononvan felt Zeke depression, but he was more so infuriated and frustrated that, even in a three against one situation, they managed to still lose to some waif with a fancy sword. But Donovan anger would have to wait, as his hunger and fatigue were weighing on his mind more so than his loss.
Making his way to the Inn with Zeke in tow, Donovan approached the counter and rang the small bell in hopes it would summon someone to assist them. Out of the back room behind the counter, a rather rotund woman made her way the the front desk where Don and Zeke resided.
"Hello and welcome, how many people in your party?" questioned the woman with a bright smile.
"Umm, three," Donovan said with a hint of confusion in his voice. The woman seemed a little too cheery for being in such a dismal place, but he wasn't going to complain.
"Alright that will be, fifteen gold for beds, or thirty for a bed and meal," she replied once again with a glowing grin. Thats when it hit Donovan, they had no money. They were broke and Donovan was regretful about what he'd have to do next.
"Hey Kouji," He said with an embarrassed gaze directed at the floor. "Ya got any loot on ya?"
At Donovan request for cash, the large woman eyes ran cold. "If you little bastards ain't got the cash, then get the hell out of my Inn you vagrant pests! I ain't got time for every poor beggar coming in here thinking they can get a room for free!"

"Worry no more Miss Inn Keeper, these folks are with me, and as such shall be paid for accordingly, hot meal and all," spoke a voice from the shadows in the hall. Out of the darkness approached a small man dressed in a tattered white cloth robe and cap with a large box hanging from his neck. Approaching the front desk, he reached up onto the counter and placed a small bag of gold in front of the large woman, causing her cold expression to glaze over with a pleasant smile once again.
"Come friends, our room awaits us," announced Mataichi with a charming grin and a beckoning motion from his hand.

Zeke's backhair stood on end from the innkeeper's bipolar response. He was certain of it now. He hated every inch of Guasto, and the sooner they got out of it, the better. There wasn't even a positive way to think about the barren wastelands, the indignant citizens. Even the local animals were savage and unfriendly. It was until the act of kindness by the petit and oddly dressed man that Zeke wondered if there was anything good to be found in this place save for they're chance meeting with Kouji.
"Thanks a bunch sir!" Zeke bowed deeply to thank the man. "My name's Zeke, and this here's Donovan and Kouji. Let me tell you, its nice to meet a kind person in this city." Zeke quickly followed into the room, his mind filled with the sole want to rest on a nice firm bed.

Kouji followed after, a little worried about the man who had paid their way in all honesty. He didn't trust random strangers any more than Donovan.

"I hope you people don't mind being a little cramped, the room is not necessarily meant for four people, but I'm sure we can come to some agreement on sleeping arrangements. I'll take a corner spot and leave you three to debate how the two beds shall be divided."
Mataichi's generosity was not totally without reason. Being a inhabitant of Earth's spirit world, he was all to familiar of the UG, the Reapers Game and in most cases, the few lasting player to make it to the final day. In all reality, the Reapers Game was the closest thing to a reality show in the spirit world and was usually watched and enjoyed by many. Mataichi would pop back from Crepusculum every now and then to see how the game was progressing and always found Shibuya to offer the most interesting game, both visually and in regards to the people that were entered.
Seeing Donovan and Zeke in Crepusculum now was interesting and Mataichi thought he would take this opportunity to get to now the group a little better and why exactly they were out of Shibuya, but still dead.
Playing oblivious to their identities for the time being Mataichi thought it best to try and make his guests comfortable, both physically and mentally, before revealing who he was.
"Oh, me and my manners. Sorry, forgot to introduce myself. I'm Mataichi, a simple peddler of charms in this area. So, umm... let's see. Oh yes, Donovan, Zeke and Kouji I believe it was, what brings you to this dark part of the world," inquired Mataichi, directing his question more towards Zeke, knowing full well what Donovan was like.

Kouji walked to a different corner and sat down, taking off his jacket and laying it out like some kind of blanket. Zeke and Donovan could have the beds, he wasn't going to fight for them.
"We're trying to get to Ignis," he said simply, sitting down on his coat.

Donovan wasn't sure what to think of the petite fellow. He would have protested staying with him under usual circumstance, but even Donovan wasn't so stubborn as to pass up free food and lodgings, especially in his current condition. To try and counter act his compliance with the short fellows offer, he simply made no effort to talk to him in hope that he would respect his approach and leave him be. Though Donovan couldn't help but notice the Mataichi gave off this other worldly air that and it was both comforting and moderatly disconcerting to him, but once again, free food and beds gave Donovan no reason to bring it up as a problem.
"I guess that leaves the beds for us, Zeke."

"From Guasto, the vary visage of hell, to Ignis, whose flames resemble that of the world of the damned, truly an interesting journey, but oddly befitting, wouldn't you say, Zeke?"
Mataichi thought it would be enjoyable to start picking away at the two Players with some indirect insinuations and have a little fun with them. He intentions were not malevolent, but rather, he just felt like messing around with them before he would explain everything. He couldn't help but grin a mischievous grin after his comment, maybe not the best move, but it would be of little consequence in short order.
