Ludro rubbed his head after he woke up from last night drinking. He did like the rum, but the hangover... As long as he gets the hair of the dog he'll be fine. He investigated the area where Lana said she fought the jerk and where she collapsed. He saw that the trees had a lot of Fresh cuts from sword, but they were small.
"...Zelos." He concluded, "Lana, time to get up!"

"...Shut UP, you're too loud..."
Lana groaned loudly, waking up with her face to the ground. Her eyes begged for more sleep but she forced herself up. She rubbed her nose, it was painful for some reason unknown to her. She stumbled as she got to her feet and managed to not take a nasty spill, and she looked around and glared at the trees around them.
"Hey, where's um...where's...um..." she couldn't think of it. She looked around her again, whatever she was searching for was...well, she didn't know if it was even near her or not.

"We are at Ingus, to track down the Jerk, remember, love?" Ludro said. " Now, I can tell that there was a big fight here, and Zelos' weird blade attack left its marks on the area." He pointed to the trees and rocks with the marks.

"Ah, that is what made these marks, A Sumata leader." A voice said. A man with a black Gambler hat and two zweihandler swords on his back jumped on a rock. "That is good news, then that means I am on the right trail."

Lana gave him a long, blank stare. Who were they looking for? Was it that important...?
She listened to him and looked around, remembering...wait.
"Huh? Zelos was here?" she shook her head. Zelos was never around, unless he showed up after she'd lost consciousness. That meant he left her for dead, that jerk.
She thought she was going crazy when she heard another voice speaking, because she was totally watching Ludro the whole time when she heard it. Kinda creepy, your best friend's voice changing suddenly out of the blue, didn't even move his mouth, either. When she turned and saw the man in the Gambler hat, she squinted her eyes at him.
"...Who the hell are you?" she asked.

Lana swayed a little, apparently the rum having not left her system entirely quite yet, and she was silent.
Silent for one, long, almost-neverending moment...until...
"Who do you think you are, you jerk? I'll punch you!"
Because that was the smooth thing to do.

Ludro slapped his face and he stepped in front of Lana. "We are the Captain of the Nerezza, so if you do not answer us, we will take you down." He said.

Surprisingly, Lana reacted rather quickly, leaping forward herself and throwing Ludro to the side.
"I'll take care of this!" she said with a sly smile, and as she ran straight for Volkmar she whipped the sword out of the sheath at her side and swung it up high in the air, ready to strike...
And the alcohol/hangover mess seemed to screw up her balance as she fell over to the side, her sword seemingly being too heavy for her to handle at the moment. She grumbled loudly as she hit the ground, abandoning her sword as she staggered back to her feet. Apparently this was a job for her fists today.

Ludro, to protect Lana launched his cards at the Man in the Hat, the force of the cards pushed him away from Lana.

Volkmar was propelled backwards by the cards and he landed. "So, that is your special ability, eh?" He said. He swung his sword and a ray of energy went to Lana and Ludro.

Lana grinned as the energy ray shot itself toward them, and before it came too close she performed a very awkward cartwheel to the side to avoid it.
"Ha ha ha, light doesn't stop me..." she loudly announced, most unsure of what she was saying. She then took a fast run between a set of trees, disappearing into their shadows, having herself a drunken test to avoid having the flames flicker the shape of her body and reveal her location.
Once she was behind Volkmar she launched herself out at him, swinging a punch around to one side of his ribcage.

Volkmar Grabbed his ribcage from her punch. He turned and then he swung his blades at her. He then ran over to Ludro and swing down his sword.

Ludro pulled out two cards and started to fight him with them. Even though He looked kinda old, Ludro was a fast man with strong legs. As the were Blade/card locked Ludro asked
"So, who hired you to fight us?"
