((Open to anyone))
Well, this most definitely wasn't good. Having lost the vision entirely in his eye, Vincent also was stuck with a nasty poison that was injected in through is neck. He knew enough about the woman who poisoned him to know that it was a slow-acting acting one, yet even after a couple of days his neck had swollen so much he was starting to have a few troubles swallowing and sometimes talking.
He also seemed to be the centre of attention most places he went, it coloured a dark purple, yet the cut marks on his neck never had a dry look to them.
Thankfully, he was in Ignis now where you would think one would be willing to help him rather than when he was in Alberisato. You would also think that someone from Ignis would know how to treat the Plant Queen's poison, but sadly every door was closed to Vincent as they shook their heads and said, "I'm sorry, I've never seen that before..."
How ironic would it be for the man to have left, faked his death for thirteen years, show up and try to make his life right again, and then the very next time he went out on a mission died? And like this?
Vincent sighed in frustration. He was running out of options, and quick. It was turning out that he may just have to head back to Crepusculum, knowing that his wife knew poisons inside and out and was quite well known for her successful treatment of any type of poison you'd find in this world. But Jasmine would know them, too, right? And if he was lucky, she'd be travelling with her friends not too far away.
Crepusculum was still a few ways away, and it would be lucky if he made it there before the poison did its worst.
On the other hand, he had no clue of the whereabouts of his daughter...
And there didn't seem to be anyone in the area who could help him.
"Huh," he said with a bit of a morbid smile on his face, "looks like I'm screwed."

Or so Vincent thought he was. Mr. Loque had no need for worrying as his daughter was a lot closer than he thought she was.
As in just down the block. Amongst the crowded land of tanned-skin people, Jasmine would have recognized the bright blond hair from anywhere that rested upon Vincent's head and she immediately ran to her father, arms out and ready to give him a big hug...
Until she saw the swollen, discoloured neck of his and the bloodied face. Her hands went from being outstretched to embrace him to suddenly covering her mouth as she let out a gasp.
"Papa! What happened to you?!" she squeaked out, worry etched in every part of her face.

Vincent turned to Jasmine and shrugged. "What happened to me, honey? The bloody queen of Alberisato happened to me, that's what!"
He sat down at the side of the road and beckoned Jasmine to follow him. "I killed a captain, burnt down a forest, got stabbed in the neck with poison that's slowly killing me, and I lost my right eye. I don't know about you, but I don't think I'm in pretty good condition at the moment," he sighed.

How did I end up here? I was just taking a walk when I got lost and ended up here... oh well, just keep walking and I'm sure I'll find my way back...
Harumi thought as she walked through the crowed, suddenly she stopped when she heard someone yell out. She ran through the crowed till she came to where she heard the yelling. She gasped seeing the older man hurt.
"Are you okay?" She was a bit afraid to speak at first, but she knew she would be able to help... if she knew what was wrong.

Vincent looked up at the young woman who had just shown up. Her face was kind, and he could already see from the way she dressed that she must have been a healer of some sorts herself.
"Me? Oh, I'm...well, yeah, I'm fine. Right, Jasmine?" he looked up at the blonde-haired girl that stood by his side. Jasmine was a great healer just like her mother, he was sure she'd be able to look after him.

Jasmine's eyes widened as Vincent addressed her. She quickly gave a look at the other girl, not sure what to think of her on first appearance, really.
"Well..." she started to say as she folded out the folds of her skirt, "Papa, I can treat it...but I'm not as well-versed with my poisons as mother..."
She didn't want to admit it. She could treat a poison wound, she could treat many wounds...but she hadn't had experience with them, yet. Jasmine gave a look at the other girl by her and smiled slightly.
"Sorry about my father, he's just gotten into a nasty battle by the looks of it--" she paused a moment to scowl at Vincent, "he's gone and gotten himself poisoned and he's hoping I'd look after it for him."
She couldn't help but raise her voice slightly at Vincent then as she looked back at him. "And sometimes you need to accept help from other people whether you want to or not!!"

"Oh, I understand..." She nodded, "But if you do need my help I can do it."
He body started to glow a bit, "You see, I don't need any herbs or anything like that to heal..."
She may have said to much, she wasn't sure which side these people were working for but something told her that these people are good.

Jasmine's eyes widened again as Harumi started to glow, she piqued her interest.
"A-are you...a sage yourself, miss?" she asked, almost afraid to find out. Jasmine had yet to meet another healer, her mother had always told her they were so far and few in between.

She thought for a moment and nodded.
"If that's what you call them, then yes."

Jasmine grinned widely then and clapped her hands together. "Oh, how extraordinary that is! You're the first healer I've met besides my own mother!"
She was too excited about this that she seemed to forget that she uh...didn't know this girl. At all. And thus spilled the beans rather quickly.
"I'm Jasmine Loque, a sage, miss. I come from the kingdom of Crepusculum--" she looked down suddenly at Vincent and smiled, "goodness...I'm sorry, the poison, it...Papa, we'll look after it for you."

She smiled as well, it also was her first time meeting another healer.
"I'm from Santo-Luce. My name is Harumi Amatersu," she explained then looking at her father, "Do you have a potion for him?"

Jasmine chuckled nervously as she looked back toward Vincent and said, "Well, Miss Amatersu, as it turns out I...don't. I could make one, but I have no clue what would have caused this - if my mother were here, she'd be able to tell us what exactly we had to do by just looking at the wound."
She frowned at Vincent as she added in, "I'm sorry, Papa. Andy's been quite good at avoiding poisoning, so I've had next to no experience treating poison."

"Um..." She started, "My healing magic should be able to stop the poison, if you let me I can heal your father."

Vincent looked back and forth between the two young girls before sighed almost frustratedly at Jasmine.
"You're just like your mother, you know that? I mean, aside from you apparently not knowing your poisons - do you want to explain to me how you possibly passed your studies not knowing this stuff?"
He kept his eye on Harumi most of the time he spoke with Jasmine, though. There were too many people in the world, and most of them he wouldn't trust with his life. She didn't appear to be a bad person, but it wouldn't stop Vincent from avoiding her if he could.

Jasmine was quick to scowl at Vincent and the comment he gave her. And just as quickly, she became as righteously indignant about it as she felt she was allowed as she answered him.
"Papa, I've been studying ever since Mother had me reading! And it was your fault she made me, too. And there's a great big difference between knowing and experience!" she snapped, her hands firmly by her side.
She then quickly turned back to Harumi and offered the girl a kind smile. "Miss Amatersu, if you can off-handedly heal poison that would help me out a ton at the moment," she quickly gave Vincent's neck a look-over, then, "I don't know exactly how bad this is, but it doesn't look too good at the moment. For the sake of convenience, I would greatly appreciate your help."
