Holy eff this guy could fight without a sword.
Lana doubled over and let out a loud grunt in pain, all the air sucked out of her lungs and made her drop her sword as she fell backward. Of all the places he could have kicked her out of reflex, why did it have to be there?!
She fell over, trying to regain her breath.

As he saw Lana fall, Vincent took this moment to run out to her.
For good measure? He kicked her in the side while she was still on the ground.
From there, he leaped in to grab her wrists and restrain her - he attempted to put her in a lock. Done and done?

Lana had gained enough breath back to scream out at Vincent, "GET THE HELL OFF OF ME!!"
She squirmed, she kicked, she tried throwing punches, she tried rolling - he was sitting on her! On her legs, she couldn't move, and his muscle mass was much greater than hers that in a match of pure strength alone she was easily losing. The guy could hold her down with one hand, for crying out loud.
Lana let her forehead fall and touch the ground and she muttered, repeated, and then shrieked every freaking cuss word in the dictionary. She hated being helpless, she fought all those years so she would never be in that position again...
And here she was. Bravo, Lana.

Vincent held Lana tightly in a lock, and quickly pulled the long sash from around his waist with his other hand. He slipped it around her wrists and tied it tight, binding her arms from anymore movement.
He grabbed her neck, pushing her down to the ground and holding her there yet while his other free hand reached for the bag she had carried earlier. He pulled it out and dumped its contents onto the dirt road.
Vincent's eyes widened. All that came out of the bag was a small vial with a purple powder in it. He grabbed it and looked it over, raising an eyebrow.
"...Now what in the hell is this and why would you have it?" he asked her as he pocketed the vial and got to his feet.
He stepped away from Lana quickly and looked around. Obviously, staying in Alberisato would be out of the question for the time being because once she was up, she'd be looking for him. He had to come up with a 'plan b', and quick.

Lana growled.
"You rotten piece of--!!!" she struggled endlessly as she yelled, "I swear, buddy, I'm going to find you and kick the crap out of you! You can't hide on me!"

"That so? Well, that sounds promising, Captain, but I think you're a little 'tied up' at the moment to teach this bad old man a thing or two," Vincent chuckled as he looked down the road that Lana had come from.
On second thought? Maybe pushing on to Nemus and further would be a good idea. How quickly would she be able to get herself some reinforcements from Nerezza, anyway? If anything, now would be a good time to finish his business here before he really did have a problem to deal with.
So with that, he marched forth toward Nemus, leaving Lana sitting on the side of the road.

"....YOU SON OF A...!!" Lana screamed after Vincent as she rolled onto her knees.
'For the love of...he really tied this thing tight, that jerk...'
She glared at him, watching his every movement so that the second she was free, she'd know exactly where to find him.
Of course, this was going to take awhile. Fantastic.
