Through the thickness of the forest one would have found the greatest tree in the world of Crepusculum, the Mother Tree. It stood tall, strong, its beauty ever-lasting...at least to those with the right set of eyes.
As the light from high shone down to the forest floor, at the base of the tree's enormous trunk, a figure came to light, sitting quite obediently on one of the massive roots.
She had long brown hair, and her golden eyes blinked as she stared up into the branches, her hands in the meantime gently stroking the tree.
"You are upset...you won't tell me why, though..." the woman, Lilith, mumbled, "...you know I'll look after you, but you have to tell me..."
It was a truth that Lilith would never tell a soul about. The Mother Tree, in recent years, had started silently weeping. Secretly, Lilith had passed the thought that it started when she and her sister joined the Sumata, but that thought was quickly shaken from Lilith's mind. She wouldn't want to believe it, and she didn't want to give any reason for why it could possibly be true.
For this, the tree seemed to cry more. Lilith ignored it. She visited the tree every day, looked up into its branches, pleading for it to tell her what the trouble was. Every day, the tree ignored her, much like she had it.
She wouldn't tell anyone, though. She gave up for the day and rested her back against the tree, watching the wind play with the leaves and flowers in the area.

"Who is upset?" A voice asked from behind, the man in red appeared, Trucido, walked up from behind. "How are you doing, my Queen?"

Lilith jumped when she heard Trucido speak behind her. She gave him a soft smile, however, and gave the tree another pat. Sadly, if he had already heard her, it wasn't a good idea to lie to him.
"Ah, Mr. Damnedblood...she is upset," Lilith looked up at the tree as she said it, "I have not a clue why, though..."
Lilith then reached into her pocket and pulled out a small seed, and in her hand it blossomed into a beautiful crocus flower, which she held out to Trucido. "As for me, I am never better when surrounded by such beauty. How has your busy life been, my dearest sir?"
((Crocus flowers are a meaning of cheerfulness))

"I have been doing this and that. Apparently, a portal to the other world has opened up, and A former warlord is gathering "Heroes" from there to stop us. Now that is hilarious." Trucido said as he took the plant. "I found a way to expand the armies..."

"Is that so?" Lilith answered quietly--she never usually said much to begin with. This intrigued her, though. "Why does this warlord wish to stop the Sumata?"
Her smile widened as Trucido took the flower from her. She believed he was a man of good taste, and hoped more than that that he was a man of great respect for the plant kingdom.
"Mr. Damnedblood, you need not much of a human-based army when you have the green world around you; they are the natural survivors, and have always been. Even when covered in ice, they live..." she tilted her head and blinked at him, "you know that I have only the greatest respect and devotion to those who care for them like I do. I should hope that you also know that if you can develop the ear that I have to hear them speak, myself and my lovelies will be forever yours to command and serve you."
She was an honest lady. Yet sadly, she kept strictly to her word. If it were proven that someone else in the wide world could actually master the ability to "hear" plants talk, Lilith's loyalty turned rather quickly. She was mostly out to protect her own kingdom, afterall.

"I never said that they were human based." Trucido said. He pulled out a box. "This is anti-matter, but this can form into humanoid shape, all it needs is a host..." He stuck his hand into the antimatter, and pulled out a small ball. He then placed it on the flower he had received from Lilith. The anti-matter covered it and then Trucido dropped it, and using his hands he molded into to a human shape. Then he snapped his fingers and then the person looked like a knight with full armor. "See? and if he gets killed..." He pulled out his sword and cut the knight in half, the antimatter, appeared in Trucido's hand and the flower was as good as new.
"And I can control them all, since I rule over Anti-matter already, and the plants can be under your controls. I cna also use rocks and water, but the plants are smarter, because they are alive and I do not trust the some of the other leaders."

Lilith blinked as she watched the knight rise and then fall, leaving nothing but the ball and the untouched flower. She was very flattered by the comment about plants being very smart, and as she smiled sweetly again at him a thin vine rose itself from the ground by her feet, sprouting 'Bird of Paradise' flowers at will. She happily picked one and ran a finger gently over it.
"Do you know that this flower was originally a symbol for someone's magnificence?" she looked up at Trucido, almost pointing the flower right at him as she said, "I think this one is a bit more befitting at the moment, my dear sir. Your creativity astounds me at times."
She found him a unique man. Odd, startling at times, but very unique. His mind was complex, and she always wondered how he could possibly keep himself under control at times with the vast amount of...everything he was doing.
"Are you saying you are needing me to help you with building of this unstoppable army?"

"It would not be unstoppable, but it would be unimaginable to defeat it. " Trucido said. "I would like to find some good plants so I can start working on the army."

"Ahh, I see..."
Lilith dropped the flower to the ground and it rooted itself firmly in the dirt. She strode over to and around Trucido, running a hand gently up his arm and onto his shoulder; her other hand rested itself on his other shoulder and together they moved to give him a bit of a massage, making sure to avoid using her nails.
"I suppose I could find you some good, strong plants that can and will carry out any deed you wish to be done, my dear sir," she said quietly, leaning in a little closer to him, "I'll make sure that whatever you want is what you shall get."

"That is what I like to hear..." Trucido said as he looked at the Mother tree. "Could we use her?"

Lilith froze and looked up at the Mother Tree. Trucido wouldn't have seen it, but the great branches above them shook something terrifying. Lilith sighed and gently grabbed Trucido's head, turning it to face a few stalks of giant sunflowers that had just appeared out of the ground.
"Ah, but sir...where she is full of life, she is still too old and sacred for something like this, I think. She is very wise and helps me take care of the others. These lovelies over here just leaped to your attention, they are eager to help you," she said, smiling yet, "they grow very tall, very strong, and are full of natural haughtiness. I think they'd be better suited for the job, wouldn't you?"

"I guess. Alright, you grow these and I will make more of this Anti-matter." Trucido said "Good bye my love."

"As you wish. Good day, my dear sir."
Even as Trucido turned to leave, more sunflowers appeared in all directions around the two of them. Lilith silently sighed in relief, having saved the Mother Tree some grief, and she followed Trucido a few steps out of the forest.
The moment he was gone, she twirled a few strands of her long hair in her fingers, and looked back at the great Tree that could be seen over the entire forest.
"Everything will be alright, just as I promised..." she whispered, most certain the tree could hear her.
