If there was one thing in the world that Loraala feared, it was being alone. Back on her homeland when she would scout for her targets as an assassin, she would always have at least two other members of the guild around her, just in case. Upon arriving to this strange world however, Loraala never felt more alone. To her it felt like hours, wandering aimlessly trying to find any sign of life. Cutting away at the plants surrounding her, clearing paths that just seemed to double back to where she had began. This place was nothing like back at home, the plants were of a strange and otherworldly nature that frightened her. She had no where to run and no one to turn to, she was left there standing among the sea of plants, ignoring all of her training to never let her guard down. Suddenly, she realized that for once in her life she was afraid, alone...and exposed.

The Grasslands of Alberisato had seen Ingway tracks many times in the past; his exploits having taken him back and forth across the vast plains of ever-visible green many times on the Eastern Continent. Scanning from a single tree, placed ever so precariously in the otherwise barren plains, Ingway glances around at the endless waves of emerald green grass, searching, until his eyes catch sight of a lone person standing, almost as if waiting for something or someone.
Though his position allowed for a great view of the land, he saw not another person or anything else encroaching upon the strangers position. Curious, as always, Ingway thought it would be fun to meet and greet the person, as it had been sometime since he'd truly conversed with someone, and it's not like he had to be careful of what he said, after all, who would she tell.
Jumping from his tree branch perch, Ingway lands with a nary a sound and makes his way to the stranger, calling out friendly greeting, hoping to illicit some kind of response in the wanderer.

Loraala's heart fell upon hearing the strange voice, her head snapped up, torn out of the trance she had put herself in. Within an instant she jumped back, gracefully pulling out her daggers in a single motion assuming the battle stance taught to her specifically by her own father. "You let yourself be caught already, how careless! Have I been taught nothing!" She thought to herself, as she did her best not to show her fear to the mysterious stranger. She called out to him, "Stay where you are, do not come any closer!" Her hands hurt from clenching the handles of her daggers, but she didn't care, she would not let herself go down here, not yet, not without a fight. She scanned the man up and down briefly, trying to find any point of weakness she could use, however upon doing so, her eyes fell upon his ears... the shape. She calmly pulled her hood back letting him see her face, before questionally asking him, "Wait, what are you?"

"What am I? Thats a pretty existential question, don't you think? I guess I'd have to say, Ingway, the most masterful...um, treasure hunter this side of Crepsuculum, but i say that only because i can't be on both sides at the same time."
Though appearing jocular, Ingway was hoping his antics would sway the woman from getting violent, as he wasn't really the fighting type. But something was odd about her reaction, why would she be so high strung? There was nobody for miles, and the fact that she was just standing there seems to detract from any situation that warranted any urgency, but thinking about it would only get Ingway so far in this situation.
Adhering to the woman demands, Ingway kept his distance and looked on as she removed her maroon hood to reveal her unique visage. Ingway could only scan over her features and ponder hard; her unique traits causing images from past read tomes to crop up in the back of his head. Then it hit him; elves! This woman must've been one of the fabled elves that he'd read so much about in his studies. Ingway almost let out a cheer, but swallowed his enthusiasm as the situation didn't really seem appropriate for such outbursts.
"Oh, OH! now i get it, you question that is. I'm Ingway, a human. This must be your first time seeing one...wow that felt weird saying that. Anyway, i assure you i mean no harm, i just thought i'd be nice to chat with someone, as it's a rare occurrence for two people to meet on the Grasslands of Alberisato. What brings you here, if i might ask?"

((Oops! Sorry guys, I had made the post and afterward Ingway told me that this was apparently supposed to be going on while the Sumata are out on Earth ^^;; therefore Lilith CAN'T be here.
But I still leave this message at least to the newbie to help out: If you need to include or exclude characters in a post, specify at the beginning of the thread. Most players do it in...whatever odd brackets (( )) {{ }} [[ ]] --doesn't matter as long as it's separated from the story, right?
^^;;;;; I saw the 'open' and no restrictions so I had leaped in, teeeeeeee. sorry again, guys))

(It's cool, thanks for the insight ^^)
Her eyes narrowed, not swayed by the stranger's words, carefully watching his every movement. Keeping her battle stance intact, she started to sidestep her way to the side of him, keeping her distance, studying him from top to bottom.
She never came across anyone like this before, not even in her studies as a child. Her anger was rapidly rising, having being transported to some forsaken land that she knew nothing of, already vulnerable to a strange man who looks nothing like her own people, how in the world could she have gotten into this mess she thought to herself. "Calm yourself, remember your teachings, never let fear control you" she reminded herself before quickly coming up with an idea.
She could use him, just until she could figure everything out and a way back to her people, then she would rid of him if needed be. "I did not come here by choice, I was forced upon this land. You called this place the Grasslands of Alberisato?" She pondered this new information and she was now sure of it, she was not anywhere near her planet anymore. "You may think I am rude but you are not worthy of knowing my name, especially someone of a race clearly not of my own." Her eyes narrowed once more, "And if it is such a rare occurrence for two people to meet, then why are you here."

He watched her inquisitively, her slow and delicate movements telling a tale of suspicion, and her eyes pointing out the stories lead character. But Ingway was not without his own suspicions, as elves were basically legends in Crepusculum, said to have dwindled in number to the point of possible extinction long ago. That along with the fact that she seemed inquisitive, almost to the point of seeming lost as to where she was was another reason to keep an eye on her.
Man, why is it the one time that I decide to openly make an effort to talk to someone, I end up under inspection. The irony would be so delicious if I wasn't at the center of it all. Oh well, better just roll with it.
"To answer your question, I'm a wanderer, and that means that I travel by foot to every location that i can, and since this continent is basically bisected by the Phantasmal Plains and the Grasslands, I choose to wander through the lush fields of green over that barren wasteland. And as well as you may think you're hiding you suspicion, it glows like the sun overhead, so'll I'll spare any possible complications."
Removing his cloak and the dagger at his side, he places them on the ground in front of him and takes a step back.
"There, is that more to your liking?" He inquires with a smirk on his face. "So how about you tell me a bit about yourself? Suspicion is a two way street my dear, so don't think it personal; more business then anything."

She watched him carefully place his weapon on the ground, and with that she let out a quick laugh and sheathed her own weapons. "You either are very confident...or you believe that I pose no threat to you. Now let me be the first to say it better not be the latter or you shall find out first hand what I am capable of."
She paced back and forth trying to process her options in her head. She must have paced for two straight minutes before stopping in her tracks looking up at this stranger. She slipped her hood back over her head, covering her identity to anyone else that may be watching. She let out a soft sigh before speaking to him, "I am painfully aware that you have realized I am not from this land, and I also know you are aware that I am not an idiot. I do not trust you, nor can I say I ever will, but I do need a way back home. Your help is not expected, but if it is your wish then you may aid me until the time I am with my own people." The second her last words were spoken, she reached behind her, and in a flash a Shuriken had left her hand, skimming the grass and striking his cloak on the ground. "But double cross me, and your head will be my personal trophy before I leave here. Now what is your answer?" Her eyes under her hood fixed on his, never moving away for a second, awaiting his answer.

Ingway nonchalantly walked up to his cloak an dagger, not really paying attention to Loraala. Picking up his garment and weapon, he paused to glance at the small cut caused by the shuriken and grimaced. "I really like this cloak, and that seemed rather unnecessary," he mumbled as he tossed his cloak back on and affixed his dagger back on his hip. With a sly flourish, he placed the shuriken in his cloak, where upon removing his hand, it had disappeared and finally turned his attention to the Elfin maiden and her offer.
"My, my aren't you the persuasive one. Truly you have plucked at my heart strings such to the point that i can take no more of such sorrow." Ingway took a brief breath to let out a chortle before he resumed. "Come on, at least sell it a little. Where's the tears, the expression of anguish at being so far removed from your family. Anyway, I really don't care what your problem is or wether or not it's even true, but what say you hand over those glimmering Dagger as compensation for my assistance when this is all done and we'll call it an even deal?"
Ingway's eyes were keen to begin with, but even more so when it came to a keen item, espescially when his hands could feel the magical energies being emitted into the air; a sensation he had acquired through many years of dealing with and studying the art of enchanting weapons. Thought not skilled in the art itself, he had gripped the fundamentals, those being the ability to notice the energies the cascaded from weapons imbued with divine or arcane powers.
Ingway stood, eager to hear the closing remarks from Loraala on his proposition; his arms folded and a cocky grin spread across his face.

She laughed at his proposition. Did he really think that she was so desperate in need of help she would just hand over anything he wanted? Regardless of how much help she did really need, she was not the type to show it. She cocked her head to the side before replying, "You are a fool but I will give you some promise for at least trying. These daggers are the last things I have of my land and people, and I will not hand them over to some stranger acting like he is my ally." She gazed at the land trying to get a bearing of which direction to go, before realizing it all looked so foreign to her it would not matter. She thought East would be as good a direction as any, she turned and started to walk away from him. A few feet later she stopped, turning her head so she could see him in the corner of her eye before speaking, "I will not hand over my daggers, however I have no use for anything material in this land, if we were to find anything of particular value you would be more then welcome to it. I am going East so whether you decide to agree to my terms or not, you have to choose now." With that she turned her head away, and began walking away with no intention of turning back. Her heart was heavy, and it grew heavier with every step she took. Every title she had earned, every mistake she had made, it did not matter in this world, because this world did not know her. And what of this new found stranger? Will he follow her in her journey, or will he betray her and leave an unsettling outcome. She did not know the answers; to be perfectly honest, she was not sure of all the questions that required answers either. Though, with all of these troubles going on in her mind, she made an oath to herself. She solemnly swore to get to the bottom of what had occurred this day, and she would get back to her people. She hung her head a few yards later, her steps halted a moment before she turned her eyes to the sky with a smile on her face, "This is my second chance, any wrong I have done is no more...and I will not leave this world until it has learned my name. This...this is my new beginning."
