Trucido walked into the room where his lovely wife laid in slumber. He rubbed his eyes as the children had done nothing but cried for the past hour. He could have sent a maid or a nurse to do it, but he wanted to do it, since he was their father. He climbed into bed with her, and said, "The kids are asleep, dear." He slid his finger from her leg to her neck.

Lilith stirred at Trucido's touch, half awake and barely hearing what it was he had just said to her. She rolled over and hugged one of her soft pillows close to her, her hair a mess and all.
"....What?" she finally managed to mumble out, her sleepiness speaking for her.

"They are finally asleep." He said as he looked at her, "You are so beautiful, just laying there." He then kissed her, and then whispered, "Just think, soon you will known as the most beautiful being in the universe."

Lilith's eyes darted towards Trucido, though she couldn't see him too well.
"I haven't gotten up to do my hair or anything yet, I don't see how I'm supposed to be beautiful," she grumbled.

"You don't need any of that." He said as he rest his hand on her stomach. "So, how is our kingdom doing?"

"Mmmmm," Lilith sat up and rubbed her eyes then, glancing around the room. She stretched her arms and back out as she answered Trucido.
"It's getting close to the rainy season again; this makes the people of Alberisato very happy, actually. The flora becomes more vibrant and the kingdom in general is beautiful to see. It's a good time of the year to be living up in the trees where you can see everything..."

"Darling, this isn't my first time I have seen the rain in Alberisato." He said, " but it is the first time I will watch it with you." He laid there and rubbed his stomach.
