My Greatest Technique! (Open)

[Bang Shishigami]

I've been trying for some time now, but I just can't seem to get it. Days upon days, weeks upon weeks and months upon months and I'm still missing something. As I pan my vision through the small forest where I reside, I see the efforts of my training; Broken limbs, shatter tree trunks, shattered stones and gouges in the earth below me might hint at some profound power, but as I see it, it only reflects my uncounted failed attempts.

Unsatisfied, I stand again, my spirit attempting to burn forth and stoke that oven that is my heart so that I might master one of my villages greatest techniques, but my body refuses to continue for the moment, as I drop to the ground and breath a heavy breath. Wiping my brow, I snug my back to a nearby tree to rest, and take the time to gander at the beauty of the local flora and fauna. After a brief respite, I feel strength return to my body and I jump up from my resting spot with a swift and agile movement. Concentrating again, I place my hands together in preparation for another attempt, but suddenly stop, my sharp senses detecting someone in the vicinity.

"Who's there," I call out. "Fear not, for I, Bang Shishigami, the Shinobi of Justice, shall deal you no harm!"

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

Rustling was heard nearby, and then silence. Moments later, a rather colorful looking anthropomorphic cat leapt out of nowhere in front of the victim in question. She stood at just 5 feet, and her stature was rather small. She stood up and tilted her head curiously. With her arms behind her back and a grin on her face, she took a few steps towards Bang, grinning mischievously while she spoke. "Well hey there big guy." She said slyly.

I stand unwavering as the small cat-girl leaps out at me and let out a hearty laugh. "Come now child, if you thought you could scare the great Bang Shishigami with such a half hearted attempt, then you're just being foolhardy," I jeer while crossing my arms confidently.

As i examine the small furry child for a second or two as she walks up to me, my mind suddenly pans back to my travels with Kaku and Aya, and I remember the whole thing starting as a search for his relative. I squint my eyes at the girl and "hmm" and "haw" for a second as I think back to Kaku description as her. Finally I snap my fingers and point at here with a glint in my eyes. "You, small furry child! Might you be the relative of Kaku? If so, I, Bang Shishigami request that you follow me back so that you might be reunited with him," I announce with due confidence, 100% sure my assumption is correct.

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

"Who said anything about trying to scare you?" The catgirl grinned. Her eyes flashed at the mention of Kaku's name and she blinked, then grinned. "I wasn't aware that my little cousin had followed me here..." She said. It seemed strange that she referred to him as her "little" cousin, as Kaku looked to be in his mid to late twenties, whereas Caramel looked to be in her mid teens. However, appearances were deceiving.

"Bang Shishigami you say?" She tilted her head and walked in a circle around him as if examining him. "Goodness you're a cocky one." She jumped back in front of him and pointed back at him with the same dramatic gesture. "I, CARAMEL LATI ROKKAKYU ACCEPT YOUR PROPOSITION!" She laughed, and folded her arms.

"As far as assumptions go, Kaku is my cousin, but a child I'm not." She said. "Is that any way to treat your Elders, dear sir?"

As she circles around me, I stand with a brimming vigour, trying to accentuate my raw inspirational aura. With her impersonation of me, I can't help but break into a hearty laugh and throw a thumbs-up in her direction.

"I like you kid, but you'll have to do better then that if you wish to pull one over on Bang Shishigami," I say in regards to her last comment. "Be warned though child, for lies and misdirection lead to the path of injustice, and I refuse to let a young soul like you be lead down that dark path. Now come here and Brother Bang will lead you out of this forest and back to your caring and concerned guardian," I remark while offering my hand to small girl, hoping that she won't try any other tricks.

Pausing for a second though, I scratch the back of my head with my other hand and question, "Better yet though, what was a young girl like you doing separated from your relative Kaku in the first place?"

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

Caramel snorted and shook her head. Was this guy for real?

"I'm 85 thank you very much!" She said briskly. "I don't much care for being called a small child. You're simply jealous that we Mageia folk age slower than you mortals do." She unsheathed her claws, then looked at him, her eyes glowed bright red, as if heeding a warning to him, then returned to their natural blue/purple hue.

"If you continue treating me like this, Well.....shall we say I'll make this journey miserable for you." She said. "If you don't believe my age, my cousin will surely verify it when you see him next." She insisted.

I take a step back and gasp dramatically in reaction to my new acquaintances actions. "Anger!? Intimidation!? Threats!? This trinity of dark actions is most serious. I fear that it is possible that the time away from your guardians has allowed you to become tainted by the evils of this world. As the Ninja of Justice, I can't just let something like this go, but what can I do," I announce, as if performing a dramatic monologue.

I think, wracking my brain as to how I can help this small child return to the presumably sweet young girl that she used to be. Scratching the back of my head, I suddenly snap my fingers and turn my attention back to her.

"I fear the path you walk down Caramel, and I can't allow for Kaku to see you in such a state, as it would surely break his heart. I can think of only one solution for this problem," I say as I approach her and crack my knuckles. With a quick motion, I slide beside her, throw my arm around her shoulders and point to distance with flare. "I shall direct you off this dark path and baptize you in the sweat of diligent training! Fear not Caramel, for Brother Bang will do his best to make things back to the way they were!"

[Kaku Rokkakyu]

Caramel sighed with great annoyance. "GUARDIAN? BUDDY, I'm old enough to be your grandmother!" She said, then laughed loudly at Bang's next statement. "It would break his heart you say?!" She wiped a tear from her eye, as a result of laughing so hard. "Listen, Darling. I think he'd be terrified if I started acting like a little angel. Honestly... Do you know nothing?"

She frowned as he put an arm around her and her eyes glowed red again. "Well thank you dear brother...." She said sarcastically, as she bit him with her sharp fangs. She dug her long black claws into his skin, and growled like a rather annoyed cat. "...but I don't NEED your help!"
