Deck of Water; Ace versus Queen

[Suisei Fukaku, Siren]

She smiled at Tidus, her ever-fluctuating eyes swirling the colors of a whirlpool, amused yet annoyed. She wore a smirk.

"A long time ago, young Hero, the Gods sank the city that you see ruined around us because of it's arrogant pride, the thought that it could harness and tame the sea. This cathedral is all that remains of that proud settlement."

She gestured around her.

"There were thousands of people, millions of livestock; it was the wealthiest city in the world. And now, it is gone, crushed in an instant by the sea's might!"

She turned back toward him, her evil smirk still there, with an added look of arrogance and superiority.

"Tell me, young Hero.... what will be left of you when my tide comes to sweep you away?"

[Tidus]

Tidus arrived in Unda, realizing of all the heroes he was the best -and only- one suited for fighting in the water.

"Hah! I'm gonna beat the tide." he pumped his armored arm, "Don't you know? An Ace never gives up, not now and not ever. I ain't scared of a tide, a flood, or a tidal wave even."

A flash of light appeared and Brotherhood was in his hands, "Cause I'm the best Blitzball Player there ever is! So let's get started, come on, show me whatcha got!"

[Suisei Fukaku, Siren]

She smiled, and it was the smile of the Earth god Poseidon, should Poseidon ever become angry. it was the smile of the Sea in all Her raging fury; it was the smile of the merciless undertow that pullsthe unwary to their doom. Her eyes reflected this as they became a stormy grey, the color of water in a thunderstorm, and she gathered all her will together and felt the sea give her power.

"So be it, Hero."

And a wave of watery power slammed into him.

[Tidus]

Tidus was swallowed up by the wave, but while in the water he spun his body and got balance. Kicking his legs he swam powerfully through the wave and popped out of it, swinging Brotherhood at her with an overhead strike.

[Suisei Fukaku, Siren]

She smiled.

"You are a master of the depths.... but every master knows that the sea inevitably turns on even the most wary man who challenges it!"

A watery shield blocked his strike, then shoved at him, attempting to throw him backwards.

[Tidus]

Tidus stumbled back before regaining his balance, taking out his Blitzball he bounced it once on the ground and bounced it off a wall to ricochet to her. At the same time he launched forward for another swing.

[Suisei Fukaku, Siren]

The blitzball distracted her. She swept it away, laughing.

"Hah! You expect to fight me with a toy? What do you think I am, some-"

And then the sword struck.

[Tidus]

Tidus smirked, landing on the ground he flipped his body to a back flip. Aiming to hit her with a kick and send her flying.
