((Trucido and Alexander lolol, set in the future after the Earth trip))
Only two days ago had Alexander sent a messenger with a letter to Vuoto. Said letter stated:
"Lord Damnedblood, As a respectable king and friend to Vuoto, I humbly request your presence for a meeting. It is of a friendly nature, just the two of us.
I will be waiting as the sun sets over the Chiaro Creek in Santo-Luce, the two of us can chat in privacy. Please, sir, I do ask that you come alone as I pray you trust I will come alone, too. This need not be in any way a matter for the other royals or anyone else.
I hope to see you soon.
Sincerely, King Alexander Frexton Santo-Luce"
All Alexander had to do was hope that Trucido abided by his request, first by showing up, and secondly by showing up by himself. It simply would do no good for the man to show up with something like say, a spy.
He waited patiently on the night he said he would, standing underneath a tall, weeping-branched tree. The scene was peaceful and quiet, and deep a little further away from the beach and the main city, and even the Solar Castle. It worked in Alexander's favour, he was allowed the waiting time in peace to gather his thoughts for when the lord arrived.
He pulled out his ancient bible and began to study it, murmuring softly the ancient texts written on the yellowed and torn pages as he waited.

"I remember that when it was written." Trucido said as he appeared under the tree. "I got your letter, and I have to say nice penmanship. But at your request, what can I do you for?"

Alexander simply smiled with a shrug as he responded to Trucido with, "What can I say? The ladies love everything about me - the incredible penmanship is one of the few things that helps really bring about the 'love' in my love poems, too."
With that, he slid his hands in his pockets as he looked up at the sky as he recited one off of the top of his head.
"If I could have just one wish, I would wish to wake up everyday to the sound of your breath on my neck, the warmth of your lips on my cheek, the touch of your fingers on my skin, and the feel of your heart beating with mine... Knowing that I could never find that feeling with anyone other than you..."
Of course, he hadn't written that one. He'd taken it from a book and made it look fantastic, sending it off to a young lady only a couple of years ago. Her father promptly sent him back a pidgeon with a knife sticking out of it.
And let's just say that was the end of that.
"Now, really, what I called for you for, Milord," Alexander was quick to get serious as he took a few steps towards Trucido, "I had a few questions, all of which arose back before we as the Sumata departed for Earth. Things like...what did Angelus mean? He said we were all pawns in a game of yours, or something to that extent. Now really, you've run this organization of ours for quite some time, why would it suddenly come to...well, something like this?"
He'd take this one step at a time, hoping he'd pick the right questions to ask at the right time so as not to anger the man or gain suspicion from him.

"Are you worrying about what Angelus said?" He asked as he took a step closer "I kept him as a pawn, and some other people, but Not you, I took you under my wing." He extended on of his skeleton wings over him and pushed him a little towards himself. "Why? Did something happen when we went to Earth?"

The hair on the back of Alexander's neck stood as Trucido brought him in closer with the skeletal wing. It was a very unnerving thing, accompanied by the look in Trucido's eye and the way the man spoke. However, the most important thing right now was to keep from getting worried because as common sense went if you worried, you portrayed yourself suspiciously.
The king was out here alone, having snuck away from the castle from all protection. It was probably a good idea to not get Damnedblood suspicious of him.
"W-well...no, nothing really--err, I mean, yes! Something did happen, I...no!" Alexander shook his head frantically, trying to put his thoughts back together as they started falling apart under the other man's gaze, "it's just that while we were out on Earth I just watched the people out there. They...they do just as we do. Albeit, they're very violent and enjoy it, but people out here are, too. I-it's just...what Angelus said..."
He looked at Trucido with a look he'd never used in a long time. It showed seriousness, but there was also a sadness hidden deep within his facial features.
"Why do these people have to die? I...I guess I just don't understand what your big plan is, and maybe that's because I never got along with my father and talked with him, maybe it was because I was gone, maybe it's because I'm new and need to catch up but...what is this plan? Why do we have to kill these people? Why am I needed to be part of this plan, man?"

"My Plan" Trucido said "is to restart everything,to have a clean slate. The Gods now had destroy all beings 9 times because they thought that the next time when they make Humans, they would be better, but no. So they are planning to wipe the humans off of the planets again, in the next 100 years or so. Because of their repeated mistakes, Should the human race suffer again and again." He stepped forward "That is when, 700 years ago, I decided that Humans should decide how humans should be remade. But the Gods rejected that idea, saying that they knew how the Human race is suppose to be like. A week later, they remove me of my Archangel position. I rebolted and killed 100 angels with my sword and forged their soul into my whip." He flexed his wings and faced the water.
"Of course that is when the removed me from the heavens and try to lock me up in the underworld. Some how I landed in Vuoto. That is when I thought to make things right, I picked the best humans, and made the Sumatas, so we can fight the heavens and become the new gods and finally create the perfect race of humans. But of course traitors would pop up and then I would have to wait to make it again. That is why I need you Alex, You will become a great God that billions will respect."

Alexander's jaw dropped. All of this happened over several-hundred years ago? All of these events now began back then?
"I understand," he finally answered, hanging his head a bit, "but what I don't understand is why we all must be 'remade'. I agree with you, the gods are wrong for trying to tell us how we should be, and their idea of fixing the problem is to destroy everyone and everything and start all over again. It's not right, it's not fair to any of us, but how are we any better by acting the same, Trucido? If anything, we are humans destroying humans just to recreate the worlds - how do we know we're not evil?"
He sighed sadly. "Trucido, man. I'd love to be a god that everyone will love. Hell, I'm trying to be a king that everyone in my own country will love, just like my father was. But why can't we avoid killing and destroying everything and just take on the gods like you said? Get rid of them only, I'm sure we can change the two worlds and help them realize it was all for the better, couldn't we?"
"We'd need to get rid of those traitors, too," Alexander was quick to add in shortly after, "but I don't know who I am to trust and who to not. Angelus I'm sure of is not one of them, after he tried to use us all like that. Funny how I'd never have seen it coming until then, I lack so much experience. Who can I trust, Trucido?"
He'd word it like that. Despite that they appeared to be on different sides, Alexander had grown to feel like he could trust Angelus, and in ways he could trust Trucido as long as he never got on the man's bad side. And now at the moment, Alexander needed to find out who was on which side, and what each side was really fighting for...because at the moment, the entire thing seemed pointless.

"They only way to truly restart and not have the gods come back is to eliminate everything. Also, most Humans now are too corrupted because of the gods." Trucido walked back towards him. "Just trust me and I will point out the people you can trust."

Alexander's thoughts raced through his head. He was going to destroy the gods and the worlds, kill everyone and everything despite the fact that they'd have the power to make or even kill off those who were corrupt, or at least punish them so they could not force their ways on the innocent people who probably would willingly follow them if they knew the cause.
Not to mention he was aligned with at least ten other people who apparently shared this same vision with him...up to the point where they actually got to recreate the worlds. There was no guarantee that when the time came that the Sumata 13 would be no different than the gods already, for everyone had a different idea of what the 'perfect world' should be. In Alexander's, no one would be fighting.
In Lilith's, perhaps, the entire world would be a jungle. Alexander had no problems with plants, but he preferred beaches and lots of them. Lady Elexa probably preferred darkness, something that Alexander and probably Lilith hated. In the end, all Alexander could see at the moment was history repeating itself yet again.
"I...Trucido...no!" Alexander surprised himself with the outburst, and somehow he felt he was going to regret that one word he just said, "the gods fight now about how the world is going to be recreated, how can you tell that we all won't do the same? We're...we're no different! The only way I can see it happening differently is if there is only one god to command it all. I mean, I'm not a genius at governing an entire world let alone a country, but this just makes no sense. It makes no sense unless someone is...is backstabbing the other..."
And somehow, he felt like he may regret what he was saying now, too. He gave Trucido a hard stare as he said, "No 'I'll point out the people you can trust' - tell me. I deal with so many people outside of your watch, Trucido, I can't always be certain that I know that who I'm dealing with is on my side. That includes you, because if all of the Sumata 13 is in this and backs you up, then what Angelus was saying makes sense. If they're not behind you one-hundred percent like they supposedly are, then I have more of a reason to believe you and help you out."
What did his father call this? 'Walking on eggshells'...yeah, that was it.

The Air got thick around both of them, then it cleared out. "Alex, Do what you want. Go hang out with Angelus. You can even declare war on everyone. I do not care. Just remember, there was a good reason that you are King now. You are one of the Few I would Trust my plan to. If that is not good enough, then I can not help you. I know you are good, and with that good you can create a world that is perfect, and the other Sumata can make other prefect worlds and then we would have a perfect Universe."

Alexander's eyes widened, laced with genuine fear as the air around both of the men changed so suddenly.
"Trucido, don't take it like that, I...I'm not abandoning you. I'm not saying I'm going to leave and join Angelus, I'm not turning my back to the Sumata, I'm just getting frustrated because no one's told me anything and everything's so confusing..."
The young king hugged his arms around himself tightly, biting his lip, hanging his head with a look about his face that showed nothing but anguish.
"I've been left in the position to rule and having not a clue what's going on. I don't think you or anyone really understands just how hard all of this is for me. That being said, I don't feel I can ask the other Sumata members for advice because some of them give me some negative vibes and I don't know if I should trust that...I just want to know who is a friend to me and who is not, who won't set me up to do something stupid..."
He shook slightly then, trying to keep from looking upset. "...I just don't want to end up like my father..." He looked hurt to say it, which he hoped he passed as genuine emotions because in all honesty, his whole emotional scene at the moment was quite fake. The words were real, but Alexander really wanted to relax Trucido a bit more around him to shake away any suspicions. So far Alexander had learned that he could not push Trucido back, and so it was a good thing he learned it now before he actually stepped onto the man's bad side.
Or...at least he hoped he was still on Trucido's good side. If not, he'd have to play it low for awhile and keep his mouth shut. For his kingdom, the king would try to keep hiding under the protection of the Sumata for as long as he could.
And at the same time, he was hoping to try to keep Angelus close as well, feeling like he needed as many connections across the board as possible.

"Well how about I help you with your country? I have seen the Rise of many great Kingdoms, so I can help you." Trucido said "Remember, all of them had to start running a country when they were young and they struggle. Everybody does. And you are going to surpass your father in every way possible." He walked forward a bit and then asked "Is that all on your mind? I am going to be your friend right now, so you can ask me anything."

Alexander stared at Trucido. Help him run his country? He didn't think he really liked that idea, he didn't really want anyone to help him run the country of Santo-Luce. But nevertheless, Alexander replied with a slow and silent nod.
"If it's not going to be a problem, I could really use and would appreciate the guidance," he said and for a moment more was silent before he spoke up again, "I've nothing else on my mind other than...I don't suppose you would know...I mean, from my understanding my father and you were friends for years. The man was dying, he knew he was dying, and I've heard that he betrayed you in his final days. I was never told the details, but even if I had been, something doesn't add up...if he knew he was going to die soon, why would he have even bothered? Do you have an answer to that?"
