Volkmar looked at Vaan. He might as well tell him, I wasn't going to cause any harm and if it did... oh well.
"...Volkmar Gamlxltoe." He said.

Vaan looked at Tidus (whose name he still didn't know) and raised an eyebrow. "Geez, tou-chy. You got a problem with vampires or something? Look, I'm sorry if anything happened to you in the past but it wasn't me, so please don't take it out on me. If I did leave you alone and anything happened to you, not saying it will, but if, it would be my head on the line, and trust me, Milady and Captain Princel aren't people to sneeze at."
And then he immediately wanted to pound his head on the nearest tree for letting on who he was working for.
So much for them trusting me.

"... Why is she helping us?" He said as he pulled out the silver triangular sword. "Last time I checked, Lady Elexa, was trying to kill us for that red suit man." He opened it towards him, "I think this is a trap. You are going to kill us one by one, in this darken skies."

He almost did bang his head on a tree.
"Me and my big mouth... oh, well. I sure hope you guys can keep a secret, but Milady is just as much in support of you Heroes as Captain Princel is. And she can't let Trucido know. So I'm supposed to follow and help any Heroes who wander into Nerezza because if they die, it ruins any chances of her alliance with you all when the time is right, because it'd be blamed on her."
He shrugged. "Believe it or not. It's the truth. Now can we get going? I'm not so high up in the food chain that I can completely guarantee your safety after dark. Complete dark, that is."

"... Where is this bloody city?" he asked him. He did not believe him, but it was crazy enough to make sense.

"This way!"
And he started to walk. "They also have a stable, so you can rent Striders there if you're tired of walking," he said as he lead the way toward Elison.

"Heh, rent..." He said as he felt his money pouch. He hasn't gotten any jobs, so he has been traveling lightly. I will be lucky if I have enough if we can get the room for tonight...

"Hm? Something wrong?"
He looked back at Volkmar and Tidus, his soflty-glowing blue eyes perplexed.

"Nothing, just want some sleep." He said as looked around. He saw a light in the distance. "Is that the city?"

Vaan looked ahead... and broke into a grin. "Yup. Just a town, not like the Dark-Soul City, but yeah, that's Elison!"

"Great, I can not wait to sleep, in this moonless night." He said to Vaan, "So, after that, are you going to go back to your queen, and stop bugging us about something that doesn't exist?"

"Nope," he said. "Milady will want to see you, you being the Black Moon Warrior, after all."
He grinned cheerily, winking at Volkmar and ready to duck out of the way of any large, heavy objects, like rocks, swords, or fists.

"What?!" He said in shocked, "No, I am not going to see he... she is in the city, isn't she!?" He then looked, around, and said, "I am not talking to her about some stupid legend."

"Whoah, whoah, time out! She's not in Elison. And you don't know a damn thing about what Milady's doing. So... let's jsut get to Elison, okay? And then, I'll leave you to go on your way. I did my duty. I protected you through the Black Wastes. Then, I'm out if you want. Okay?"
He sighed. He shouldn't lose his temper. And he knew he shouldn't have mentioned Milady. But... dammit, everyone was so suspicious of her! True, she did practice deceit better than any three Nerezzan businesswomen combined, but she was generally choosy about who she was decieving, at least!

"Good! THEN I DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO ANY MORE CHILDREN FABLES!"He yelled. There was a bit of force behind it. The force was like when he was a berserker, a violent pulse. He looked at the city. "You can leave now, we can see the city." He quicken the pace to get away from him.
