She shook her head. "No thank you, Ludro... I'm perfectly capable of mounting Shade on my own."
She made a high-pitched whistling sound and a large strider came running out. He seemed sleeker than the others, and very well cared for.
"This is Shade," she told Faey. "His full name is Moon's Shade Ghost Runner, but... it's just Shade for short."
Pretty big bird!

Her eyes widened and she rocked back on her heels a bit.
"Talk about a royal ride, huh Elexa?"

She nodded. "Nerezzan Striders are envied mounts and will fetch a pretty pricce, especially those bredfor speed like Shade."
A pale young man led out another Strider, of slightly lesser quality than Shade, yet still obviously superior. "For the young traveler," he said, bowing. "This is Night Wind Racing."
"Another fine mount... thank you, Vaan."
He bowed again, then disappeared back into the stables.

"Sweet!"
She looked up at the strider and her surroundings for a moment before using the side of the stable wall as a foostep and jumping up onto the strider from the side. She landed across it on her stomach and tried to swing her knee up over it... At ended up back on the ground with a loud "Oof!" She sat there for a moment, looking sheepish, then got up, dusting herself off.
"Um, a little help?"

Elexa laughed, and the stable boy reappeared with a mounting block to help.

She grinned and used the mounting block to get on, this time without falling off.

"It was a pleasure," he rplied, bowed, and disappeared back into the stables.
"So, are you all ready?" Elexa asked, laughing a little. She seemed in a good mood.
I'm ready, Lady! Wow, it's so high up! Wheeee~!!

Ludro patted the side of his strider, "Ready to go, Joker?" Joker bobbed it's head.
"Ok, ladies, Shall we head out?"

She grinned, then pulled off the pirate hat so it wouldn't get blown off in the wind.

She lashed the reigns, urging Shade into a run, almost daring the others to catch up.

She laughed, exhilarated, and snapped her own reins, following close after Elexa.

"MILADY! MISTRESS FAEYLINN!SHILUYA!" He yelled as they whipped pass him. "WAIT UP! MISTER CAPTAIN JOKER, MUSH!" He whistled and the Strider tried to follow the ladies.

Faeylinn looked back over her shoulder and laughed as she saw Ludro falling behind and slowed her strider.

Ludro grinned as he snapped the reigns. Joker dash forward, and Ludro took her hat from her. "Now, we have to have some sorta game to entertain us. Catch the pirate hat!" He taunted her.

"Hey!"
She shouted as she urged her Strider after his, catching up after a little and reaching to grab the pirate hat. Her fingers grazed it, but she couldn't quite grab it. She sat back in the saddle and snapped the reins again, urging the beast as fast as is it could go and reaching over again, this time successfully taking the hat from Ludro and then steering the strider out of his arm reach.
