The day was still young as Andy, Jasmine and Seigmand left the house on Shimmering Lake and headed out towards the trail that lead into a dense forest. The sun that peaked out from the horizon faded from view somewhat as the trees quickly concealed the sky and surrounding area. As they went deeper in the sounds of the local fauna could be heard, from the delightful songs of the birds to the feral growls of predatory beasts.
Alright, it's been about a couple hours. The trap should be here soon. Seigmand grinned, his reason known only to him. Sure enough only a few minutes passed before an earth-shaking series of thumps got closer and closer to the travelers. From the left the three could see a fast approaching beast coming only by the trees that were deftly knocked aside by its charging form.
"Umm... Andy? Time to do what you do so well." Seigmand backed off slightly from the oncoming beast's path.

Andy, still slightly recovering from his sudden fight with Grim Dagger. Nodded, worse as well his inner evil was also calling out again.
Stay down you...
"Right," Andy nodded, running toward it and swinging his blade, hoping to overwhelm it with brute strength.

As the creature neared, it's path becoming less obstructed by the trees it bowled over the party got a good look at it. A quadruped standing about 8 feet tall the creature was large and bulky with muscle and fur. It's mouth was a trap of fangs, completed with two heavy tusks that coiled out from the corners of its mouth. It emitted only a dull, gruff grunt from its mouth as it came close enough to twist its head to the side and thrash out at Andy, who was closest to it at the moment.

Okay did not see that coming... Andy blinked, charging up his sword and smirking as he leaped away from his sword. "Yeah that's it, come and get it!"
He continued charging his sword with energy, yet he did not call out an attack yet.

The beast gave a disgruntled snort upon missing its lunge, instead lumbering a few to try and pivot around and face the orange haired fighter. It's enormous hooves stomped the ground, each stamp making the earth quake ever so slightly. Bearing its massive head low it charged forward again, its pace quickening with each step in its charge. As it neared Andy, its mouth opened and let loose a thick phlegm hurtling towards its prey. The green thick substance came straight for Andy's feet as the creature did not relent in its charge for a moment.
"Andy! Watch out!" Seigmand cried out, trying to at least appear he was genuinely concerned for his "bodyguard's" safety. Time to see if this kid can do more than beat up small time fighters.

Okay, ew, but, avoidable. Andy thought, shoving his sword into the ground, ripping the Earth up as a blast of energy shot up from underground. He swiftly leapt into the air just in case, using gravity to his advantage he fell downward and swung his blade.

Jasmine had been quiet the whole time she had been walking with the two men, staring at Seigmand suspiciously for the most of it.
At the moment though, she had averted her attention to Andy in the battle with the monster. She was sure he'd be fine, but she was also sure to be attentive for when she could see he needed the help or when he called for her - her bag recently was stocked with all of its "tools" so she felt more or less prepared for anything at the moment.
For a brief moment she smiled while watching Andy. When it came to his fighting, he seemed to have come a long way since she'd first met him out in Alberisato.

As the energy blade met the phlegmy goo, the glob seemed to almost wrap around the energy. As if draining its power, the blade beam dissipated and the phlegm fell harmlessly to the ground. As Andy went airborne, the creature looked skywards, starring emptily at the sword wielding warrior. As the blade came hard down on the creatures back, Andy was surprised that it only went an inch or so into the thing's skin, causing blood to trickle along his blade and into the beast's thick fur. It had almost felt as if the large amount of tangled fur had defended against most of the blow.
The creature took the moment that Andy's blade was caught in the flesh and fur and struck upwards with its massive skull, knocking Andy off and dislodging the weapon from it.

"DAMNIT!" Andy used his hands to skid to a stop, "The thing absorbed my energy...I wonder."
He leaped high into the air once again, but he wasn't attempting to strike him just yet, instead he built his energy when he was over the beast's back and fired a Getsuga Tenshou.

The quadruped looked upwards towards the again airborne Andy and seeing the energy fly towards it launched another phlegm ball towards it. The creature's eyes widened in fear slightly when the beam was stilled for only a second by the goo before it tore through and slammed into its back. The beam left a deep laceration on its back, and it let out a pain-filled roar. Sensing its survival was at stake, the creature concentrated and let the thick green substance seep out its pours, covering its body in the gunk. It then began to shake, like a dog trying to dry itself. The movement caused the phlegm to spray out at random, launching gobs of it at Andy, Jasmine and Seigmand. Seigmand drew his staff out and twirled it quickly, beating back the few random blobs. As he saw the goo spray out at Jasmine, he couldn't help but smirk to himself. To bad you don't trust me girl, or I might have been "good enough" to save you too. He looked up at Andy descending from his aerial attack. Still, I suppose Andy might be able to help you if he takes the Grisire's phlegm attack. I wonder what he'll do.

Jasmine blinked, watching the fight unfold even further, and showed a clear sign of disgust with the phlegm that came out of the beast.
"Um...ewww," she muttered and froze temporarily as the goo was shot out at the party. Just before it splashed itself onto her, she brought up a dome-shaped shield over her and the phlegm landed right on top of it. Jasmine looked up at it and frowned.
"...Even more eww."

Andy sheathed his sword and began flipping around, bouncing and leaping off objects and dodging the goo. He flipped off a rock before some of the goo splattered it.
"Bankai!" he roared, his body glowing. "Hihio Zambimaru!"
His sword turned to a giant snake with a bone head.

Seigmand's eyes widened with surprise and delight upon seeing Andy's newest attack. He had hoped that the creature would have been able to a least elect a powerful attack or two from Andy before it fell to him, but this was more than he could have hoped for. Not only that, but learning that Jasmine was a defensive caster was also interesting to see. No doubt she was a divine healer, as anything else but energy from the gods was compromised by the creature's phlegm.
The Grisire stood stunned upon witnessing the Bankai. Left in a desperate state it tried to leap forward, hoping to crush Andy and his weapon under it's enormous weight.

Andy pulled back the massive snake/flail and it shot forward, stopping the monster's attack. The fur on the back of his new cloak that came with the form ruffled in the air.

Jasmine's eyes went wide as the snake appeared and she backed up a step or two, shaking her head a little. She knew this was Andy, and she knew that because it was Andy's attack she shouldn't be afraid...
Jasmine wasn't afraid of bones, but moving bones and such-and-alike dead things were definitely part of her "DO NOT WANT" list.
And so she busied herself by wrapping her charm quickly around both her wrists, clasping her hands together and muttering as quickly as she could phrase after phrase of prayers under her breath - they would eventually grow her own power, but also keep Andy safe if somehow the ugly phlegm-flinging creature managed to do significant damage.
((that's right, Johnathan, I just went there.))
