"How is your love relationship?" She asked "I believe you haven't told him yet, but what are you waiting for?"

Jasmine stopped suddenly in her tracks and felt her face go hot. What was this, what was she supposed to tell the prophet of all people? 'You're wrong'?
She looked away suddenly and thought quickly about what she wanted to say.
"I don't...i-it's not like that, ma'am. I mean, it is but...it's that he...I...can't tell..." great stuttering with your words, Jasmine. You win a gold star.
"What holds me back is the thought that someone like him would be more satisfied with just...being friends with someone like me. Because remember, he's an important warrior and it's my job to help him and make sure he doesn't end up dying long before his adventure is over--I can't let this get in the way of my work."

"You can make sure that he doesn't die, but not telling him will kill you in the inside." Profeta said as she turned around. "How do you think he feels about you?"

Jasmine stared at Profeta and was silent for a long moment, her hands falling to her sides.
".............I don't know, ma'am. I can't say for certain, I just...get the strangest feeling that he could never grow to like someone like me in that way."

Profeta stopped in her track. She turned around and said "I normally do this, because it can screws things up, but I know your future with Andy. I can tell you it if you want to."

"I...I don't know," Jasmine answered quietly. On one hand, she couldn't really hide that she was actually curious. On the other, she was still afraid to find out an unfortunate outcome...
"I-if you were to tell me, ma'am...I...I would request to be told very little. Like..." out of nervousness, she gripped at the handle of her bag, "...is it worth pursuing? Or should I just save myself the grief and stop trying altogether?"

"Oh, it is worth pursuing, Jasmine. But do not place everything on him now, because we are still at war. But letting him know will help him and you in so many ways." She said "I wish I can see your futures as adults, but I can not see past..." She couldn't finish that sentence. She had a extremely sad look on her face.

It had felt like, for that brief moment, that Jasmine's heart had stopped. The prophet said it was worth it...this odd, seemingly uncontrollable feeling she had for Andy and her acting on it would apparently be worth it...someday...if she kept at it...when there wasn't a raging war to worry about...
And people weren't dying like they were. This was the least of Jasmine's concerns, though, as Profeta had said something else that sparked Jasmine's interest. She looked back up at Profeta, the distressed look on her face, and gave her a sympathetic frown.
"Miss Profeta, what can't you see past? Are you alright?" she asked quietly. She'd worry about her own problems later.

"Nothing, dear..." She wiped a tear from her eye. She looked at Jasmine, "I am fine. Annabelle is in the remains. I have to go" She walked back towards the cave, in a hurry.

Jasmine watched worriedly as Profeta turned on her heel and marched back towards the cave. She took a couple of steps after Profeta but then stopped, feeling like it probably would do very little good to pursue the woman.
"Wait, I....thank you..." she mumbled quietly as Profeta darted out of earshot. Whatever it was she had been talking about, it upset her a lot. It made her wonder...she was married, did it have to do with her husband? But her worry sprang from not being able to see something happening in the future...
This didn't make sense. Nothing made sense and it frustrated Jasmine. She sighed before turning back on the road, heading in the opposite direction of the prophet.
She had a meeting with this woman named Annabelle Fraus she had to attend to.
