Seigmand laughed softly as he braced his arm. "You don't get it do you? I played you from the start. At first I merely wanted to hold you back. Your little forced truce of the kingdoms made life easy for me. It was only when I learned of your true goals that I realized you needed to be stopped." Seigmand looked to Trucido, only to see something in his peripherals that caught his attention.
He smiled as he looked back to the fiendish man approaching him. "You're crazy you bastard." Seigmand thrust his good arm out and the stone grew to clench Trucido's foot still with a vice like grip. His hand still held in a tightened fist he rose to his feet. "And I intend to make sure that you'll never be god of anything."

Trucido started to laugh after Seigmand's speech, "So, you really think that? You think that you are going to stop me? After that, then what? There would be a giant celebration, and you would get Kuukyo to be in charge of confetti? Is that it?" He asked, then he stopped laughing and looked at him with a serious face.
"But does it really matter now? No, Profeta is dying and I am getting all of her bliss. In a few moments you will be a rotten corpse, and I will become the All-God." He moved Profeta's sword in an elegant fashion, and pointed at Seigmand, then 6 thin projectiles of light then swarmed around Seigmand, then they slammed in right next to his feet, and exploded.

Seigmand muttered only two words before the light erupted into flames all around him. "About time." As the flames looked to have consumed him whole, that didn't stop the sound of his laughter from filling the air around them.
When at last the smoke and fire disappeared Seigmand remained unharmed and unsinged. "Hmm, not a corpse yet." He smiled a cunning grin. "This reminds me of something I read once. 'When your opponent believes he is victorious attack with all your might, for it is then that his defences are weakest. What do you think?"

"Sounds like a plan to me!" Onyx exclaimed from the air. His hands were held closely together as the flames from the explosive spell had been shaped and contained tightly in his palms. With the roar of a battle hungry beast he thrust his hands out at Trucido and the flames rushed out to encircle the trapped foe.
Not giving up his offensive for a moment Onyx's leap landed him near Trucido. His gauntlets crackled with electricity as he went to parry the two blades away before delivering a fierce punch directly at Trucido's chest.
"Seigmand? Are you okay?" He cried out to his weakened ally.

Trucido was shocked to hear Onyx's voice, and looked up to see the inferno coming right at him. After the electrical palm strike, he fell to the ground, with his foot still ensnared by the ground, and his clothes charred, along with some of his skin. He got up, cut the rock that was holding his foot, and hopped out of the remaining flames that Onyx had placed. He pointed his hand at Onyx and shouted, "Darkra!" Like last time, instead of the normal pillar, it was a wide beam firing at him. While that was going on, Trucido swung his whip right at Seigmand's legs.

"I will be." Seigmand responded as he stomped the ground and brought up a wall beside him. Oh boy, this is going to hurt. He hesitated for a moment before he rammed himself shoulder first into the wall. He swore outright in pain as he felt everything pop into place again.
"I really need a second here Onyx." His voice ran pitchy as he cradled his arm. Watching the whip come his way he could do little more than try to move infront of the wall he'd conjured.

Onyx swept low in a graceful maneuver to duck the dark magic that sprayed from Trucido's hands. Hearing his ally's plea for help he nodded as his gauntlets crackled and hummed with his bio-electricity. "You Machiavellian demon! Don't think you can afford to take me so lightly!" Charging his gauntlets with an opposite charge to the ones he'd placed on Trucido's blades the whip's direction changed course instantly towards him. It was only as the weapon neared him that he released the charge and leapt to avoid the whip's sting.
"I relish this challenge Trucido. Now face me, and the consequences of your heinous acts at last!" Onyx struck a pose before firing forth two blazing wheels of fire from a flying double roundhouse kick.

As the lightning came crawling up his whip, Trucido stuck both hands on it, and he then shouted, "Barrier!" A small sphere was formed between him and the upcoming lightning, and the lightning was deflected into the ground below. He avoided one fire wheel, and he cut the other one, with Profeta's sword. "So, now I get to fight 2 betrayers. Is Zelos going to pop out soon? It doesn't matter, I figure that you have only the time for one more attack before I turn into an archangel, and then you will die." He said, as the whip started to wrap around his arm. As soon as the whip was finished wrapping itself, Trucido's body begun to flare up, and forced to the sky to start turning red, and flowed like someone had split red wine on the floor. He then put Profeta's sword away, and he got into a defensive stance. "Give me your best shot, or else die with regret."

Kevin was charging up the mountainside, his sword already drawn and simply following the sounds of battle. When he got to the top his eyes lay on only one thing: Profeta on the ground. Giving a loud cry he ran up, ignoring the fierce fight before him he ran to his wife and supported her in his arms.
"Profeta? Honey? It's me...your hero...I came to save you..." he said weakly.

"Kevin... My hero is... here." She said with a smile, "I knew you.... would come." She placed her hand on top of his. Her wound was worse than it was before, as most of her dress was covered in her own blood.

"Is...is this what you were hiding from me?" Kevin choked out, trying in vain to stop the blood from coming out. "Is this what you wouldn't tell me?"

"If you knew... then you would have.... tried to stop Trucido.... instead of saving.... the citizens in Nachtundtag..... I made this choice for you." She said as she grabbed his hands. "It is too late for me... It is time... for me to return to the All-God."

"But...you can't..." Kevin said, holding onto her hands. "You're my wife...I'm supposed to put all things aside for you...what about the others. You're our leader, we need you."

"No... I have to die... if you are able to defeat Trucido... I am too weak to beat him... but now, you have a chance to... beat him." She said as she looked into his eyes. Her feet started to dissolved into more of the glittery powder that had been leaving her body.

"No!" He yelled, holding onto her hand tighter. "I can't do this, I can't beat Trucido...knowing you won't be with me tomorrow. You're my wife...I swore to protect you. Why didn't you let me protect you?"
No joy, not even a shred of the Kevin the heroes have known for his silly humor and outlook. Just the hint of the hurt Kevin when he yelled at Andy, but that seemed trivial as his wife began to fade away.
