"What?! Your...your father?!" Andy yelped, as the silence fell after that he was about to speak when Jasmine beat him to it. After listening to what she said he made his mind up, walking past Jasmine and Vincent he said.
"I'm going up there. If Xisa says the only way to cure you is to meet him, then I'll do it."

"Andy? Andy, wait!" Jasmine called after him, voice full of worry, "Andy, don't go alone! That's what he wants you to do! I'll come with you."
She was about to run off and follow him when Vincent grabbed her by the arm and held her back. "It'll be a matter of time before you can't walk--you'll be more of a problem than a help to him," he said sternly.
Jasmine looked back at him with disbelief and then to Kara with pleading eyes. She began to dig in her bag, frantically searching for something specific.
"Kara!"

With an impatient sigh Kara thrust her hand out to abruptly stop Andy in his tracks. "First of all, running off recklessly will prove to be helpful least of all. What we need to do is come up with a plan before marching up there to confront Xisa."

Jasmine smiled gratefully at Kara as she continued digging around in her bag. She then whipped out an amethyst stone attached to a long, black cord and ran up to Kara and Andy. Wincing as she her foot was hit with another sharp pain, she held the amethyst out with a shaky hand.
"E-exactly...he needs this...if I can't be there..."
The amethyst was always known as a protective/healing stone, or so many believed. Jasmine had made it even more believable, taking a night of little sleep to work a little magic into the stone - it had an odd shine to it.
"Wear it."
It wasn't a suggestion, it was a command. If things turned for the worst...the stone would help him. Jasmine was sure of it. She wouldn't have gone through all that trouble for it if she didn't believe in its power, that's for sure.

Andy glanced at the stone for a minute before taking it and slipping it around his neck, the stone swayed next to his Griever pendant. He turned to Kara and folded his arms.
"And what would YOU suggest?"

She put the hand down to her hip. "Not sure exactly, but maybe a little tricky maneuvering. It'd be nice to have an ace up your sleeve in case things turn for the worse."

Vincent watched the scene before him, looking back from the girls to the determined young man. He shook his head, then, and marched over to them.
"Little lady, you should stay with Jasmine to make sure she's not getting up to no good--she's too much like her mother, works too much when she shouldn't, I can tell," he chuckled slightly but then turned more serious as he looked over in Andy's direction, "hey, buddy, I understand this Xisa fellow wants you but I'll follow along behind you if you need anything if you're up for it."
This was his daughter, afterall, one of the people he was trying to protect even when he was never home for her.

"Ace up the- this is stupid!" Andy huffed, "Can't I just go up there and kick his ass!?"

Kara let out another impatient sigh. "Frankly I don't trust either of you. I dont take orders Mr. Loque and I'm coming along. I'm sure Hala will make Jasmine stay as soon as she sees her wounds."

"I..." Andy began before roaring out again, "Fine, come along."
"Both of you," he added, Gesturing to Vincent and Kara.
"I'll take Jasmine back to Hala," the voice of Kevin Uruhane rang out, appearing next to Jasmine. "Better hurry though, getting to the kingdom and back will probably take awhile."

Vincent growled at Kara, but bit his tongue, partially because now really wasn't the time to be arguing, and Jasmine was giving him that look again; he really didn't want to be placed on bad terms with her after finally meeting her after so many years.
He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Andy and smile, though. It made him glad to know that he wasn't the only one who was a little aggravated at the moment. He gave Andy a nod and then gave an incredulous look at Kevin who seemingly appeared out of nowhere...or perhaps Vincent wasn't paying attention.
"...You there," he said to Kevin, "Hala isn't to know about me." He seemed almost hurt to say it.

Jasmine shifted uncomfortably, she didn't like any of this. She folded her hands over each other and gave them all a defeated look.
"Andy, I'm sorry," she said, "...I believe in you, though. Please remember that."
She gave a smile to Kara, and then looked up at Kevin before she turned and started walking back to the house whether he was ready or not.
'Kara, I'm not there to look out for him. I'm really counting on you to keep him from doing something stupid in my absence.'
It was an amusing thought despite the situation. It brought a slight smile to her face.

"I'm fully aware of your delicate situation Mr. Louqe," Kevin waved his hand dismissively. "If you insist so, then I will not say a word, come now Jasmine."
