"Getsuga Tenshou!" Andy shouted, sending a wave of energy at a target he had set up. The blast hit and target was cut in half, he swung his sword and began slicing up targets that were popping up. Every since his battle with Xisa, he felt himself going rusty and needed to brush up on his skills.

A giggle came from the far side of the training fields. "You are so vicious Andy." Kara swayed over to him with a smile. Her princessly clothes gone and her much more comfortable, yet revealing, acolyte outfit on. "Need some company?"

"I guess," Andy rubbed the back of his neck. "I figured I needed some time to train and...and what is that?!"
He blinked at her outfit, it wasn't one he has seen before that's for sure.

"What's wrong with it?" Andy repeated incredously, "Should princesses even be wearing something so... um... you know!"
Andy became flustered very quickly, it was a habit of his whenever he was with a woman who is inmodest or inmodestly dressed.

Kara just hmphed and turned away from him. "A princess can wear whatever she wants to. And this attire has been worn in my family for generations." Then she smirked at him. "You should probably cover up that blush though..."

Andy gasped and spluttered before shaking his fist at her, "I am going to strangle you!!"
It was an empty threat, and even Andy knew so he huffed and sat down on the nearist rock, stretching his arms out a bit.

With another giggle Kara sat next to him and leaned back on her outstretched arms. "So how's the training going? Any progress?"

"It...well, I slice things in half." Andy frowned, "That's it. I've been trying all day... but I can't recall that power from Xisa's castle, or even find out what the hell is even is!"

Kara sat up and put her hands to her hips. "Well that's no good. You need more diversity in your fighting stye or else you'll be too easy to predict."

"Then what would you suggest?" Andy crossed his arms, "I don't know how to fight! Swinging my blade around is the only thing I know how to do."

"Well...the easiest way to go about it in my opinion is to pick an ability you have mastered...and just tweek it to work better in different situations..." Kara looked up to the sky thoughtfully.

Andy thought about that for a minute, pick an ability you know and tweak it. He thought about it for a minute and stood up, walking over to a stone what was sitting on the side his blade charged the energy of his Getsuga Tenshou. But he didn't fire it, instead, using the energy on his blade he ran up to the rock and when he sliced the rock it blew up, becoming small pebbles that fell to the ground.
"Like that?" Andy asked.

Kara laughed and smiled at him. "You're getting the idea yes. It's much easier to assess a situation if you've already practiced different ways to use your abilities. Make scenarios in your head and try approaching them." There was a pause. "So why isn't Kevin teaching you this kind of stuff?" She really did wonder where the older gentleman had gone off to. Wasn't HE supposed to be training Andy? Not her!"

"W-well...actually..." Andy stuttered, he wasn't really up here just to hit things...
"You want me to do what!?" Andy blurted.
"Got to shade mountain and find me a red flower with a blue center and bring it back here. It's part of your training." Kevin responded, undaunted by Andy's overeaction.
"But- but I," Andy began only to get shoved out of the door by Kevin.
"Good luck!" he called out before slamming the door shut.
"...And that's why I'm up here, I've been looking for hours but I can't find it."
