((Yeligar/Vincent lolol))
Vincent hid up in the Shade Mountains for most of the day. It was when the darkness fell and the real beauty of the land of Crepusculum shone that he decided it was time to leave.
He checked over his bag again - his wife was finally forgiving enough to give him food. God, he missed that woman. And even now, he didn't want to leave her. They had been separated for too many years, he wanted to spend the next decade with her to make up for them. The plus side to that would be that she'd be safe, though.
That would also mean trouble, though. The Sumata knew he was alive, and it bothered him even more to think of staying in one place like a sitting duck - he had to move. Thankfully in recent times the Sumata's concern focused on the heroes coming from Earth, so Hala should be safe.
If he followed carefully his route he planned out for himself, he should have been back in Crepusculum in a month...

"Were you going to leave without saying hello to me?" An one eye man said. "You Sly fox, how are you? Last time I heard, you were dead."

Vincent grinned, he knew that voice only too well.
"Last time anyone heard, I was dead," he turned to face Yeligar, "everyone would still think I was if our 'friend', King Xisa, hadn't tried to murder my daughter up in the mountain here."
Vincent crossed his arms, looking over his old boss. "I've heard stories as well - you were gone yourself for some time, weren't you?"

"Yea for over a year, but where, were you? and what were you doing not telling me about that." Yeligar asked.

Vincent let out a nervous laugh.
"Well, sir, it was just one of those times where...well...you see, it was..."
He frowned. "Okay, so I don't really have the best answer as to why I didn't tell you, if anyone. As we can both clearly see, my 'death' wasn't real, and I had decided not to tell a soul about it. But I assure you, I'm not the only one who did this."
Vincent always trusted Yeligar. He knew he could tell him this, even if he didn't like what Vincent had to say.
"In the years I've been gone I've met many more people from the Crepusculum army, all of which pulled some kind of stunt of their own to stage their deaths and 'hide' from the world. It's been more or less some kind of an underground organization started, with our names and identities erased completely from records, we still fight the Sumata. It's been interesting, we all go do our own 'vigilante-like' thing, pass information along to each other whenever we meet ones 'part of the group'. I've been mostly at sea until the past year after something went down in the Chalybs..."
He seemed to trail off for a moment or so, looking up at a bird that just flew overhead. He raised an eyebrow and looked back at Yeligar. "I'm still up for hire, if you're up to it, General. I'm still playing the low-key, but Xisa knows the truth - I'm alive, my family knows I'm alive, my wife is home alone, and my only daughter is travelling the world with a 'spaztastic' young fella who appears to be a pretty valuable target to the Sumata - there's not too much that the man doesn't know about me, he knows all of the few important things, which is too damn much. It wouldn't surprise me in the least that if he knew, all the rest of them would know soon enough as well, wouldn't you agree?"

"...I could use a Soldier, to help me with the Heroes." he said to him. "This is going to be almost like the old days, eh?"

A wide grin curved Vincent's lips. "Yeah," he said, "almost, and the Sumata won't have a clue what's coming to them. I'm going to be moving a lot, I figure, my first stop's probably going to be around the Alberisato area - those pirates taught me a thing or two about treasure-hunting, I suppose. I'm going to see what kind of valuable items and weapons I can find, distribute them along the way to those who are in need or worthy of holding them..."
He smiled, thinking of the different kinds of things he'd come across in his travels. "I'm sure my daughter would be happy with a few hard-to-acquire ingredients for her 'hocus-pocus' spellwork. Should keep her from getting irate over get this, my wife says it's a bad idea for me to find my daughter a perfect husband - says I should leave her be, she's probably got an idea of her own but I don't see it, I don't know what the woman's talking about."
Despite how he talked about Hala at the moment, he smiled when he thought of her and the hug she'd given him before he walked out the door this morning. She had held him close, and he felt at a loss for words when he looked into those beautiful blue eyes of hers which had been tainted with bitterness over the years, yet that foxy lady he'd met and fallen in love with all those years ago was still there.
"No 'dying' this time," she had said to him and he laughed, nodding his head and responding with a, "yes, ma'am."
Vincent chuckled a bit to himself before he looked at Yeligar and said, "If you're alright with this, is there anything in particular you want me to look out for or do while I'm out and about at the moment?"

"Look out for the Sumata, and join us." Yeligar said "I will be almost like the old days... except we are not in the Crepusculum army."

Vincent nodded.
"Damn straight, though I'll probably be travelling a lot on my own, I've done it so much already this past decade," he sighed and looked over the fields of Crepusculum, "though I do miss my army days, I really do. I quite enjoyed my 'Commander Loque' title, haha."
He shook his head then and sighed again. "But alas, those days are over. Now I am helping these heroes, helping my family, and destroying the Sumata good and proper. How about we go deliver a couple of good blows to them, sir?"

"That is the spirit I need for the Heroes!" Yeligar said as he walked off, "I Have to get something so I will consult you later."
