Mark: Don't worry, I've only ever dropped one person and it was on purpose. *He thought about what he said and shook his head.* Don't worry, and it was asked of me.
*Before picking her up he raised his hand and shot out a small bolt of white light crashing it in the roof breaking a good sized hole in it, without wasting anymore time he picked her up and with one push of the massive wings it launched them out of the building and into the night air.*

She was tense for a few minutes, but eventually she relaxed and looked around, enjoying the aerial view. "This is amazing! How can you stand walking knowing you can fly wherever you want?"

Mark: I hate these wings, what it is, what I am. *He closed his eyes for a moment and reopened them.* What I am is a monster, I can't doubt it, nor can I embrace it.

She blinked in surprise and looked at him. "You are not a monster."

Mark:... You hardly know me, one day and you're able to judge what I am...? *he stayed silent for a moment.* I've done to many things with these wings to be even compared to a human.

"Mark, I've known you for a day and you've done nothing but help me. You gave me a blade to defend myself and you haven't abandoned me. You haven't tried to hurt me or take advantage of me. You are not a monster!"

Mark: ...Fine... *he said in a weak voice. He didn't want to fight.* Thanks for not calling me a freak or anything, though.

She laughed and smiled at him. "Why would I call you a freak? This is awesome!"

Mark: This world was a victim to a great amount of attacks from winged men like myself. It's a long story and I'd rather not delve into details, it was a very, very long time ago almost 200 years ago.

"Well, you weren't responsible for that, so why should I -or anyone- judge you for it?"

Mark: A war is a war, and even when it ends there will always be fear and hate to each other. It's not anything new, I myself admit that when I see someone from Nerezza I grow impatient and I have a very hard trouble getting comfortable around them. *He sighed.* Not everyone is like me though, many are forgiving.

She decided to leave the conversation at that it was obviously upsetting him. She went back to watching the ground pass under them as they flew and stifled a yawn.

*Mark made no more effort to talk, he kept his eyes forward and looked for any familiar places where he could track where he was, he had a good idea where he was and if he kept going forward he should make it to his target.*

He most likely didn't want to talk any more, but if the silence continued she would fall asleep. "So... Um... You said you're from Earth... Where exactly on Earth are you from?"

Mark: I was from Ohio, *he answered.* although, I hardly got to know my family, I was taken away to fast to even meet my baby brother. I was to stubborn to go and visit them, I... I don't even think my Mom got over my kidnapping.
*His said in a low tone, clearly this guy was pretty depressing. He obviously made some mistakes he really regrets.*
