The looming doors of The Twilight Castle were a sight for sore eyes. It had taken several days of traveling, but Ingway finally arrived at his destination, the envelope to be delivered sitting tightly in his...um, pocket dimension. The trip had been a pleasant one, but the lack of any disruption had made it rather tedious, making it overall annoying for someone as active as Ingway. But that was all something that Ingway would make Seigmand pay for, personally...in gold.
Still making his way through the crowded streets to the castle's entrance, Ingway donned the large, well insulated cloak that he usually wore before entering Roccia Castle; the thick garment being much more bearable without the blistering desert-like heat bearing down on him. Approaching the secured entrance, he finds a crossed set of spears blocking his advancement, accompanied by that oh so pleasurable, "State you business or be gone," line that they train the guard to say.
"I bring a message of the utmost importance for her Majesty, Queen Lunestise. You'd do well to let me through, lest the Queen become perturbed by your unwillingness to cooperate," stated Ingway, his sly grin hid behind the shadows of his cloak.
Giving Ingway a suspicious glare, on of the guards sends the his cohort to inform Milicia of the informants arrival, rather than choosing to outright believe him.

The other guard gave him a tired look, rolling his eyes slightly at the shirtless traveler. "Ugh, the messengers coming through here just keep getting weirder and weirder. You boys are going to wear her out with all these 'urgent meetings'." A second guard promptly gave him a slap upside the head with a look that merely said, 'Shut up you've said too much.'. The guards motioned toward Ingway and led him down to the throne room. Throwing open the wide double doors they stood ready at the open arch, allowing Ingway to enter.
"Welcome to my castle messenger?" A voice cooed from the edges of the room. Stepping out from the distance Milicia approached Ingway, her regal gown awash with the glistening light of a barrier spell. "Don't worry men, you may leave us." She fluttered her hand, prompting the doors be shut. "Now, who and what brings you to my lands?" Her attention now rested fully on the young man, briefly scanning his person for any weapons.

Giving a quick bow, he pulls forth the envelope and bears it for Milicia to see from a distance.
"I bring an urgent message from... someone important. They wish to remain anonymous until you have read the message they've sent you, one i have been entrusted to deliver personally. Will you accept it?"
Ingway was new to this whole "delivery thing," but he figured he was doing a pretty good job, hoping his efforts came off as credible.

Milicia let a sliver of a smile escape, "Mysterious aren't we? Well then, I suppose I might as well read it." Moving in slow strides she took the letter from Ingway's hand and drew the message from the envelope. Right away she noticed the seal of the Roccian royalty and her eyes widened. What could Seigmand have to say? Might what Onyx have said be true? More than ever she had to know the contents.
"Dear Queen Lunestise,
Times have grown troubled indeed since you dared to attack Ignis, and as I send this to you I imagine you sitting in your throne, concerned over what direction the inevitable retaliation will come from. It is to this reason that I have sent my loyal assistant to you with this letter. I know things, things that you want to know. Things like we, the Sumata, have been barred from attacking you at all. Things such as the secret weapons that Trucido has prepared for you when you dare to attack again. And best of all, that I happen to know their fatal weakspot; the man that no doubt stands awaiting your response to this letter.
It may surprise you to know that we share a common enemy in this, and I wish to see him gone as much as you. To prove myself, my messenger is yours too command. I strongly suggest you send him to your attack force as soon as possible.
Sincerly, Seigmand
P.S. Burn this letter as soon as you've read it, and don't worry; I don't want anything in exchange for my help...yet."
The letter practically oozed with confidence. The only thing that annoyed her more was the fact that he was right. She needed help in this war effort, and if even one part of his letter was true her mind could be at ease knowing she had one more ally. She turned to Ingway and looked him over all the more puzzled. How was this man to do anything against a weapon made to fight an army? "Well young man, it would seem that you've become something of a bargaining chip? Do you have a name that I may call the newest soldier of my army?" Her eyes narrowed, somewhat unsure of how to take all this.

Ingway glared for a second as he processed her response. With a quick swipe, he grabbed the letter Milicia's hand and quickly scanned over it's contents. Pausing for a second, he threw the letter up in the air and let slip several expletives as he turned away from Milicia.
Oh, the asshole! It all makes sense now, or at least most of it. The mention of fighting was just a vague hint to pique my interest. Goddamn the sly bastard! Ingway Desmodius is no bargaining chip, and I'll be sure to give Seigmand a good bit of pay back for this grand misuse of my talents. Of that he can be sure.
Clearing his throat along with the grimace on his face, he turns to Milicia and pulls off the thick cloak that obscured his visage, and tucks it effortlessly into his smaller cloak, where it seems to disappear. "Well, it would appear I've been sent to do a bit more than deliver a letter. I guess I have little choice in the matter, as I am being payed to do this, but by no means think me a mercenary. I am Ignway Desmodius, a treasure hunter who has become tangled in this grandiose tale a bit more then he'd care to be at the moment. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Queen Lunestise, regardless of the circumstances. Oh, and I apologize for my... *uh-hum* rather brash speech."

Milicia was unable to help chuckling a little at the outraged reaction of her new ally. At least she could be certain he wasn't in on any plot against her. He'd been sucked into the war, and were it not for the fact she knew she'd need him, she would have felt almost sorry for the man.
"Very well Ingway, it is good to meet you. Don't be so worried about your outburst though. Let's just say you don't travel with a troop of soldiers without getting a taste of much worse." She circled around him, not even taking note of the fact his cloak seemed to have disappeared. "I hope you don't mind me asking Ingway, but what exactly can you do to turn the tide of war like King Seigmand claimed? I trust he was smart enough to not bluff such a crucial detail away."
