He closed his eyes with a huge smile spread across his face, quite unsure that he was about to speak the words he had planned "Well let the scandal begin..." he whispered his smile spreading slightly before opening his eyes again and shaking his head innocently.

Kara giggled again and hugged him tightly. Her arms wrapped around his neck and she stood up on her tippy-toes. "At least I won't have to worry about finding a prince, I've already got the perfect one." Her face glowed with joy for him.

Gensayce kissed her on the cheek before nestling his face in her hair taking a sense of comfort from it "I'm far from the perfect prince" he muttered with a smile "I'm a hunter's son from the glaciers of Ghiaccio, I only saw civilisation when picking up supplies for crafting weapons and armour, I have the equivalent of negative social skills" he sniffed nervously before moving his face in front of hers "Technically, that was my first kiss, but don't tell anyone" he added with a smile.

"The only thing coming from the wild means is that you are a true citizen if Ghiaccio. It was technically my second kiss...but I guess family members don't count do they? At least these first two were special." She leaned forward and kissed his lips a second time, just as gently as she had the first.

This time Gensayce did nothing but hold his arms around her waist. For him time seemed to stop, only the gods know how long they were actually stood there but when Gensayce moved backwards slightly he let out a deep breath and kissed her forehead before pulling her back into a hug "I fear I may have to leave now" he muttered to her, one hand around her waist, the other gently moving through her hair "I need to find Taggert with Tempest, I'm sure you remember him" he thought back to when the three of them had barely escaped "We have to make sure he doesn't conjure up something to help the rest of the Sumata" His voice was calm but his heart was torn, half wanted to stay here so badly but the other half knew he had to be helping the other heroes...

Tempest did nothing but munch on the food he found. "I think you two look perfect together," he said after he got done eating. Gensayce, a word a moment?"

"Aye" he said stepping up, making sure to quickly pull on his cuirass and tighten the straps he then reattached his gauntlets before holding his helmet under one arm and grabbing his spear he wandered towards Tempest before holding an arm in front of him so as to ask him to lead the way.

(Sorry for the wait, my morning usually starts an hour ago... I like to stay up at night)
Tempest led him into the hall and quietly closed the door. He then turned to Gensayce. "Listen Gensayce, if you don't want to fight right now, I'm fine with that." Tempest was hoping that he would agree.

Gensayce shook his head "I understand your concern but I refuse to sit on the sidelines and watch others fight without me" he glanced back at the room and then rested his gaze on Tempest "If anything I now have something to fight for, I have reason to definatley return now"

"And what if the something your fighting for loses someone?" Tempest resisted the urge to wince. He knew he was being harsh but he had to try to make Gensayce see what he was saying. He realized that Gensayce's gauntlent and his face put together would match up nicely. Let's hope I don't get him that mad.

Gensayce simply smiled "We all knew the risks in coming here" he sighed turning to face Kara "Me especially, but I cannot ask you to go and fight Taggert alone, in doing so I could be condemning you to a most unfortunate fate" he said biting his bottom lip "I could not rest easy ever again if I found out that you were to fall on that battlefield and I was not there to help you"

"I'm sure the royal guard here can do their job well enough, besides if I hear word the castle has nearly fallen then I can return and get her out of here" he placed a hand on Tempests shoulder "I understand your concerns but this is something I have to do, I cannot sit back and let my friends do all of the work"

"I'll be here before it is taken" he assured him taking his hand from Tempests shoulder and placing his helmet on his head, flipping the visor down he rolled his shoulders "Now, shall we?" he asked in a metallic voice.
