Player: John
Name: Sabin (His last name is unknown.)
Description: As the leader of the Millenium Order he rarely comes out in public, and in his ceremonial vestments his face is obscured by the cloak and hood. All that has ever been seen of him are his hands and forearms, yet his voice is deep and masculine enough that people know he is a man.
Age: Unknown, though his voice would indicate a man in his 30s-40s.
Personality: Seemingly a kind and benevolent leader, in public he has spoken of the strength of will that people possess being greater than the hands of god. It has been his motto that hands closed in prayer are hands that are closed to the people around them. All of it points to a man who seems to be holding something against the gods, and puts far greater trust in people than in deities.
Place of Origin/Home: Santo-Luce is his claimed birth home, yet he possesses no place of residence, as if he disappears and reappears only when he is needed by the order.
Alignment: Good, seems to have a humanistic angle on his motivation
Occupation: Leader of the Millennium Order
Equipment: A large brass staff as well as decorative jewelry that indicative of his status in the order. Always travels with an entourage of armed followers.
Weapons: None.
Combat: Has never been seen in battle, and has demonstrated no skill in it. Commonly speaks out against violence.
Magic: Has never been seen wielding magic, but does seem to possess an almost supernatural force of will over crowds. Those that listen to him seem drawn in by his words.
Flaws: Seemingly possess no combat skill. Beyond that he is mainly an enigma, a mystery to those that know of him at all. While he does possess a couple grievous flaws, they are a secret for the time being.
History: Too little is known about Sabin by anyone for there to be much of a history to tell. In his speeches he speaks of his passion of non-violence and charity stemming from his homeland of Santo-Luce, though he claims no family from there at all.
Instead the history of Sabin is more a history of the Millennium Order, as the stories of both seem to begin at the same time. Some 3 months after the fall of Trucido, a small group all cloaked in blue appeared in the kingdom of Ignis. Offering aid and a story of Sabin, the glorious leader that brought them into their new lives, the so-called Millennium Order was welcomed by the kingdom. Ignis was still in disarray as Onyx had left no family to succeed him, and thus many were left vying for the throne, leaving many civilians eager to join the order in its cause.
With the passing months the order spread and traveled to the rest of the kingdoms on the eastern continent. Each kingdom had been damaged by the event of the Sumata and Trucido Damnedblood, whether or not the civilians knew it, and each seemed willing to let the order in to offer their aid.
Yet despite their actions there were still dissenters. Some cried out against the order’s blasphemous teachings against the gods, while some held suspicion in the order’s cultic behaviours. Eventually public outcry by some grew so strong that many cities and villages began to throw out the order based on a growing paranoia.
It was the first time that Sabin appeared to any but his followers. Using a blend of charisma, charm and what most would describe as a supernatural aura of calming he spoke against the fear and mistrust that had built up in the various kingdoms against the Millennium Order. The effects were seen soon enough as slowly Ignis and Alberisato agreed to let the order back in.
Some 6 months after the fall of Trucido, Queen Milicia extended a hand of friendship to the Millenium Order, requesting their services over in Crepusculum in exchange for the support of the Watchers.
In recent times, the Millenium Order has grown to a connecting network in Crepusculum, Ignis and Alberisato. They seem eager to spread their influence and message of faith in one’s self and the power of human will over divine intervention, yet there is continued resistance. While the same arguments remain, rumors have sprouted up saying that any who work openly against the order end up disappearing in short order.
During this Sabin has only appeared a handful of times in public. It is said each time he appears he recruits all but the most outspoken protestors into the Millennium Order, and while many fear or hate his group there has yet to be a record of anyone attempting to take his life.
