Layton and Phoenix, the dynamic duo?

Fans of Professor Layton and/or Phoenix Wright unite! For Capcom has teamed up with Level 5 to create the ultimate crossover game, "Layton vs Attorney". Don't be fooled by the "vs" bit, the two of them are working together to solve a massive mystery in a mysterious town called Labyrinth City. And sometimes in order to work together, they gotta work against each other.

I digress, this trailer speaks for itself, enjoy.

LOL oh thank god that that's just a DeviantART piece and not the official artwork for the game XD;;; I'd have been very disappointed otherwise.


EDIT: And before people start crawling up my ass about it, I did not just insinuate that the above artwork is bad. I just have different expectations for the game is all and I'm allowed to.

Pffh, and there DeviantArt once again ruins my wonderful preconceptions and stereotypes. Of course the little British boy has tea in hand, he's British. But what's that Japanese girl doing with a burger?

Honestly though I can't wait for the game. I love the Prof. Layton games, and I've enjoyed the Phoenix Wright ones. I'm just really curious to see how they'll blend the art styles, the music, and the overall atmosphere of the games. After all, the Ace Attorney games very much have a magical theme to their mysteries, while Prof. Layton games usually tend to fool you by having very mystical happenings be purely scientific.

I really, really hope this game make it to the United States. We need more Phoenix Wright! If Kyle Hyde were in this game, it'd officially be the best of the DS Virtual Novel games...
