Okay it is severely critical that I warn you in advance that the only way you can make sense of this picture is by looking at it with an open mind. If you are easily offended by religion and or caricatures of religion or foul language you should leave this thread now.

The image below is not so much an actual mockery of religion but of the mystery and stories behind it. Now this was a joke between me and a close friend of mine, we had read in the paper some of the strange explanations of Jesus Christ and being slightly tipsy came up with our own that involved him being an alien. Also their is the F-Bomb involved in this picture which I have censored due to the nature of the site.

Other than that I hope those of you with a sense of humour will very much enjoy my work and hopefully get a bit of a chuckle out of it.

I can kinda get an idea of where you're going with this but right now I'm not finding it funny XD; I think my problem is I'm not finding the exact thread of thoughts you and your friend had while discussing this.

I'd love to hear your theory on him being an alien in hopes that it'll hit me with a bunch of bricks |D;; Because he probably was an alien and I am interested in this joke hahaha.

Yeah my theory was as follows

Mary slept around alot and didn't have the guts to tell Joseph she was pregnant so she said it was the son of god, so they head off towards Jerusalem and on the way Mary get's abducted by aliens while Joseph goes off to collect water. They 'probe' her so Jesus becomes half alien, they let her go, their alien spy now placed on earth. The inn keeper tells Mary and JoJo that their is no room in his inn so Jesus (still in her womb) uses his alien mind control to persuade him to let them have the barn. Mary gives birth to an alien people thinking it's the son of god which effortlessly explains how he could perform miracles and come back to life.

Now that I re-read it... It's not actually that funny, and I just wonder how much I'd had to drink .__.

Hahaha xDDD; It definitely is quite far-fetched though it's good to understand it a little more fully now--even without your explanation prior to this I had a very vague idea that it was because of all of his unexplained "miracles" that he had to be an alien.

It's an interesting idea though, not something that I LOL'd at but definitely something that did put a smile on my face More because it boils down to Joseph again getting screwed over in the whole scenario hahaha.

Pfffh, if Jesus had mind control powers he wouldn't have gotten such a crappy end. He would have gone all Scanners on Judas and then convinced everyone that Judas was the devil in disguise.

But yeah, even as an agnostic I can't really say I find this pic funny. It's clearly not like it's in mean spirit or anything, I just don't think that there's any joke here unless the joke is, "Wouldn't it be funny if the Christians were wrong?" I don't know, just my own feeling on it.

I do understand where you're coming from but it's not so much saying christians are wrong more that we were poking fun at some of the ridiculous explanations from people (mostly the men and women of science) who were trying to think of reasons that some of the things he did were possible.

I have incredibly devout friends so believe me when I say the last thing I wanted to do was offend anyone :')
