*twirls* We just watched what I'm deeming to be probably one of the greatest movies of all time.

8DD I shall forever gush about Megamind. Mostly because of the aliens and zappy guns The story was amazing and the artwork even better~ OH MY GOD THE ARTWORK.

Didn't watch it in 3D. Stupid idea, 3D glasses hurt my eyes.

lol I wasn't fully sure myself the first few times I saw the trailer, but I DID keep pestering Johnathan and telling him "I wanna go see what it's like anyway." =p Even if he didn't really fully want to. Turns out he is also pleased hahaha.

I saw Megamind as well. I really enjoyed the movie, and while it didn't blow me away, I really enjoyed how it played with superhero tropes. I also can understand why Jasmine liked it so much.

Because I freaking love aliens? I hope it's because you realize I have this thing for aliens.

In fact, we just watched Skyline the other night and it sucked bad. Though I don't really like movies where it's the typical "LOL aliens are here to destroy the world and we have to fight back. And by 'world' we mean the United States and by 'we' we mean the United States. What are they [the aliens] here for? To destroy us all! Why? We don't know! Will we ever explain it in this movie? NOPE. HOORAH SENSELESS VIOLENCE AND ENCOURAGING THAT THE UNKNOWN IS EVIL."

Now honestly I COULD go for a good "aliens destroy the world" movie but in that case I want an actual story. Hell, it could be the same thing about the US all over again and I could care less, I just want an actual STORY with reasons behind why stuff's happening D:
