Hey y'all. Excuse me for stealing a KH title, but it just.... fits, somehow.
I know, I know. I'm being too optimistic again. CR may be doomed to failure, to fall back down into the obscurity of death. All good thngs must come to an end, and it seems pointless to expect this one to come back to life again just because people have become interested again.
Yet, CR holds a lot of memories for all of us. The spirit of CR is far from dead, no matter that until Mike and Volk returned, no one had posted here for months. I believe that our souls' attachement to this place will not let it die for good.
To anyone who may yet return, welcome back. WHoever you are, whatever the history, the emotional slate is wiped bare. THis is a new start, tabula rasa. The memories are here, but the future is what we make of it.
To any new members who may yet come, greetings and also welcome. Here you will find a place to rest, a place that's held the world for me for a long time. So much energy is invested here; this world is alive to those who have lived in it, and it is my pleasure to invite you into that life and energy because Allorum is a beautiful place that I hope you will come to love as I have.
Reverse/Rebirth... a new page. Going backwards, and forwards, at the same time. Renewing something that was lost again. Redemption of something that, I admit, once turned bitter.
I think that's wha I"m hoping for. ANd if you want, I'll take this post down, if you think its too optimistic or dramatic or whatever... maybe I'm just doing what I always do and getting hyped up about something that isn't going to go anywhere or whatever.
But for once in my life, I truly don't care. I don't care if I'm getting my hopes up. I want this to succeed, and I"m going to express that.
